  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: First two-point game

Halliday picked up two assists Saturday in a 7-5 loss to Toronto.

It was his first two-point performance of his NHL career, and he logged just 8:43 in Saturday's contest. He has managed three assists in his last three games, but could lose his spot in the lineup if Shane Pinto (lower body) returns against Columbus on Monday.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Racks up three points in win

MacKinnon scored a goal on nine shots, added two assists and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-5 shootout win over the Golden Knights.

MacKinnon saw an eight-game point streak end before the holiday break. He bounced right back after getting some rest, earning his 11th multi-point effort in his last 15 contests. The 30-year-old superstar has 14 goals and 13 helpers in that span, and he's at 31 tallies, 33 assists, 171 shots on net and a plus-47 rating across 37 appearances on the year. MacKinnon has been consistently excellent throughout 2025-26 and could end up with a career year if he keeps up the pace in the second half.

  • Martin Necas C | COL

Avalanche's Martin Necas: Nets two goals in shootout win

Necas scored twice on four shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 6-5 shootout win over the Golden Knights.

Necas has four goals over his last four games, and he's up to five goals and 11 helpers over 12 outings in December. The 26-year-old is up to 18 goals, 49 points, 83 shots on net, 35 hits and a plus-37 rating through 37 appearances. Necas is on pace to top the 100-point mark for the first time in his career as a vital part of the Avalanche's relentless offense.

  • Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Tallies on power play

Karlsson scored a power-play goal, logged two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Sharks.

Karlsson continues to contribute despite regularly playing on the fourth line at even strength. His power-play role also isn't secure despite two of his last three goals coming with the man advantage. The 26-year-old is up to eight goals, 15 points, 49 shots on net, 45 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-5 rating across 34 appearances this season. He should be able to retain at least a bottom-six role, given his strong performance in a limited capacity in 2025-26.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Third goal in last 16 games

Tavares scored an empty-net goal in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Senators.

Tavares has three points, including two goals on eight shots, in his last four games. He has cooled down significantly following a red-hot start to the year, but he has been more productive recently. Still, he only has three goals and three assists in his past 16 outings.

  • Marco Rossi C | VAN

Canucks' Marco Rossi: Pots first goal for Vancouver

Rossi scored a goal in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Sharks.

This was Rossi's first goal and second point in six outings since he was traded from the Wild. The 24-year-old should be a little more sheltered on the second line moving forward, as Elias Pettersson (upper body) returned to the lineup Saturday. Rossi is up to five goals, 15 points, 32 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 23 appearances this season.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Four points in last four games

McMann scored a goal Saturday in a 7-5 win over the Senators.

McMann gave the Leafs a 3-2 lead early in the second period when he poked in a loose puck behind Linus Ullmark while standing at the side of the net. McMann has four points, including three goals on 11 shots, in his last four games. He has been occupying a top-six role recently and could be a decent streaming option while he's hot.

  • Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Reaches 20-goal mark Saturday

Celebrini scored a goal on eight shots and added an assist in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Canucks.

Celebrini set up a John Klingberg tally in the first period before adding a goal of his own late in the third. The 19-year-old Celebrini has five goals and nine assists during his seven-game point streak. For the season, the superstar is up to 20 goals, 57 points, 121 shots and a plus-13 rating through 38 appearances.

  • Max Domi C | TOR

Maple Leafs' Max Domi: Five points in last two games

Domi put up three assists Saturday in a 7-5 win over Ottawa.

Right when things looked bleak, Domi has gone on a micro tear and put up five points, including four assists, in his last two games. He's playing in the top six where he can make the biggest impact. Domi's value is tied to that role, and he could stick if he can keep this up... or at least a reasonable facsimile of it.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: First three-point game of season

Matthews had a goal and two assists in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Senators.

Matthews stuffed in a rebound from the slot after Linus Ullmark juggled a point shot from Max Domi. The points snapped a four-game drought, giving Matthews his first three-point effort of the season. He also had a game-high nine shots on goal in the contest. Matthews has 15 goals and 26 points through 32 appearances this year.
