  • Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Point streak at seven games

O'Reilly distributed two assists in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.

O'Reilly recorded the primary helper on Filip Forsberg's opening goal in the second period before later helping Steven Stamkos find the back of the empty net to secure the win. With the pair of helpers, O'Reilly is up to 20 assists, 30 points, 59 shots on goal and 24 blocked shots through 35 games this season. The two-way center has continued to thrive on both sides of the ice this season and has helped the Predators go 9-4-0 in their last 13 contests. During that stretch, O'Reilly has 17 points, 21 shots on goal and six blocks. The 34-year-old center is a strong fantasy option in nearly all formats for the time being while riding a seven-game point streak.

  • Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Absent from practice

Teravainen was not on the ice for Monday's practice session due to an apparent foot injury, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.

Teravainen was injured blocking a shot against the Senators on Saturday and is now in danger of missing Tuesday's game versus the Flyers. The 31-year-old winger's potential absence may not have a significant impact on fantasy managers, considering he is currently mired in a nine-game point drought. With 17 points through 34 games, Teravainen could be in danger of missing the 50-point threshold for the first time since 2022-23.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Takes part in morning skate

Pettersson (upper body) participated in the morning skate but won't play against Philadelphia on Monday, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.

The Canucks hope to get Pettersson back shortly after the Christmas break, but an exact timeline for his return remains unclear. He will miss his eighth straight game versus the Flyers on Monday. Pettersson has produced eight goals, 22 points, 54 shots on net, 51 blocked shots and 28 hits across 28 appearances this season.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

    Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Deemed week-to-week

Jarvis (upper body) is week-to-week, the team announced Monday.

Jarvis sustained the injury in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to Florida and promptly moved to injured reserve before Saturday's 6-4 loss to Tampa Bay. He will be out for an extended period of time, but it's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. Jarvis has compiled 19 goals, 29 points, 110 shots on net and 43 hits over 34 outings this campaign.

  • J.T. Miller C | NYR

Rangers' J.T. Miller: Moves to IR

Miller (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

The Rangers recalled Brett Berard from AHL Hartford in a corresponding move. Miller sat out Sunday's 2-1 loss to Nashville and is week-to-week after sustaining an injury in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over Philadelphia. It's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. Miller has accounted for 10 goals, 22 points, 77 shots on net and 74 hits through 35 appearances this season.

  • Flyers' Christian Dvorak: In action Monday

Dvorak (lower body) will be in the lineup versus Vancouver on Monday, Siobhan Nolan of The Hockey News reports.

Dvorak will return after just one game on the shelf due to his lower-body problem. The 29-year-old forward has scored only one goal in his last 15 outings, but he has chipped in nine helpers over that stretch. Playing on the first line with Trevor Zegras and Travis Konecny should set Dvorak up to continue producing offensively.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Targeting Saturday return

Horvat (lower body) is hoping to be ready to face the Rangers on Saturday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

This news effectively rules Horvat out for Tuesday's game versus the Devils but is a step in the right direction. In his seven games prior to getting hurt, the 30-year-old center racked up five goals and one assist, including a trio of power-play points. With Horvat's continued absence, Jean-Gabriel Pageau figures to continue filling a second-line role.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Scores, dishes seven hits

Barron recorded a goal and added seven hits in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

Barron has been getting it done on both ends of the ice of late, earning points in five of his last six appearances and also delivering multiple hits in all but one game during that stretch. Barron has four goals in that six-game span, a pretty solid output considering he still plays in a bottom-six role. His hot streak could make him a viable streaming option in some formats, though his upside will remain fairly limited due to his role in the lineup.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Three points, 12 PIM in win

Cozens recorded one goal, two assists, 12 PIM, two shots on goal, six hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

Cozens snapped a three-game point drought with this excellent performance, one in which he also delivered value in the physical stats. The 24-year-old has been inconsistent of late, but he still has four multi-point performances over his previous seven contests. Cozens should remain a valuable fantasy commodity as long as he stays in a top-six role for a red-hot Senators team that has won four games in a row.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Avalanche's Brock Nelson: Tallies trio of points

Nelson tallied a goal, distributed two assists and recorded two shots on goal in Sunday's 5-1 win over Minnesota.

Nelson slid the primary helper on both of Colorado's power-play goals in the second period before he scored at even strength in the third. With Sunday's three-point effort, the 34-year-old center is up to 14 goals, 11 assists, 70 shots on net and 29 blocked shots through 35 games this season. After a sluggish start to the season with five points through 16 games, he has been incredibly consistent since mid-November with 11 goals and 20 points in his last 19 outings. The 13-year NHL veteran is a lock to see top-six minutes on a dangerous Avalanche offense moving forward, giving him solid fantasy value in most formats while he attempts to secure a roster spot for Team USA at the upcoming Olympics.
