  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Tallies twice Friday

Crosby scored a pair of goals on three shots and added two hits in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Crosby has four goals and an assist over his last five contests. The 38-year-old remains remarkably productive and consistent -- he's yet to go more than two games in a row without a point this season. The superstar has 15 goals, 25 points, 53 shots on net, 19 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 23 appearances in his usual top-line role.

  • Ben Meyers C | SEA

Kraken's Ben Meyers: Pots pair of goals in AHL win

Meyers scored twice in AHL Coachella Valley's 5-0 win over San Diego on Friday.

Meyers is up to six goals and two assists through seven AHL outings, including six points over four games since he returned from a stint with the Kraken. The 27-year-old forward had three assists over nine NHL games earlier this season and could be an option for a call-up should another wave of injuries strike the big club.

  • Cole Reschny C | CGY

Flames' Cole Reschny: Contributes three helpers

Reschny recorded three assists in the University of North Dakota's 5-3 win over Bemidji State University on Friday.

Reschny continues to be an effective playmaker for North Dakota. The forward is up to two goals and 12 helpers over 13 appearances this season, his freshman year in the NCAA. The Flames prospect's performance is encouraging after he was selected 18th overall in 2025, but the team will give him all the development time he needs.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: First point since return

Matthews put up an assist Friday in a 4-2 loss to the Capitals.

It was his first point since his return from injury. Matthews has nine goals, six assists and 71 shots in 19 games this season. He has just two power-play points (one goal, one assist) -- the Leafs are truly struggling with the NHL's 26th ranked power play. And we're still waiting for Matthews to string together a few epic contests. He has just one multi-goal game, which came Oct. 14 against Nashville. And he has only three-multi-point efforts in 2025-26 (all two-point games).

  • Blue Jackets' Luca Del Bel Belluz: Posts three points in AHL loss

Del Bel Belluz scored twice and added an assist in AHL Cleveland's 6-4 loss to Hartford on Friday.

Del Bel Belluz seems to have maintained some confidence from his recent NHL stint, earning six points over three games since returning to Cleveland. Overall, he's at five goals and 11 points in 10 appearances for the Monsters. The 22-year-old forward should continue to be in the mix for call-ups whenever the Blue Jackets are impacted by injuries.

  • Capitals' Connor McMichael: Three-game, four-point streak

McMichael scored a goal and an assist in Friday's 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

McMichael notched the Caps' first goal. It was a backhander past Joseph Woll in the second period to pull the team within 2-1. McMichael is on a three-game, four-point scoring streak (two goals, two assists and 14 shots). The young pivot has struggled to find his offensive groove this year after putting up 26 goals and 57 points in 82 regular-season games last year. The goal was McMichael's fourth of the season.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Registers two assists

Lindholm notched two assists and two shots on goal in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Rangers.

Lindholm helped out on goals by Casey Mittelstadt and Morgan Geekie in the third period. This was Lindholm's first game back on the scoresheet in three appearances since recovering from a lower-body injury. The center is up to four goals, seven helpers, 25 shots on net, 20 hits, 15 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 16 outings this season after missing 10 contests due to the injury.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Gathers two helpers

Trocheck logged two assists, three shots on goal, seven hits and two blocked shots in Friday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

Trocheck helped out on a Carson Soucy tally in the first period and Vladislav Gavrikov's insurance goal in the third. With three goals and three helpers over his last six games, Trocheck's offense is rolling. The center is up to five goals, six helpers, 17 shots on net, 50 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 12 outings this season. He should continue to offer a strong blend of offense and physical play throughout the campaign.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Scorching start continues

MacKinnon had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Wild on Friday.

MacKinnon has five goals in his past five games and leads the NHL with 19 this season. He also leads the league in points (41). MacKinnon's scorching start -- the best of his career -- has made him the early-season favorite for this year's Hart Trophy. He won the Hart in 2023-24. He has never won the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's top scorer. Mack has finished second to Nikita Kucherov the past two seasons.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Scores lone goal in defeat

Scheifele scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

Scheifele's goal was all the Jets could muster on a paltry 13 shots in this contest. The 32-year-old has remained excellent even as the team around him has been limited to two wins over the last seven games. In that span, he has four goals and five assists. Scheifele is up to 13 goals, 30 points, 54 shots on net, 16 PIM and a plus-6 rating through 23 outings overall.
