  • Hurricanes' Justin Robidas: Gets first point of NHL campaign

Robidas logged an assist and two hits in Friday's 5-1 win over the Jets.

Robidas is up from AHL Chicago to help cover some absences up front for the Hurricanes. The 22-year-old was playing in his second game of the campaign Friday and set up Alexander Nikishin's tally in the final minute. Robidas had 12 points in 16 AHL games prior to his call-up, but he'll find it tougher to be productive in a bottom-six role while with the big club.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Hat trick against hometown team

Jarvis scored three goals on eight shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-1 win over the Jets.

Jarvis, a Winnipeg native, tormented his hometown team in this contest. He opened the scoring at 16:06 of the first period and added two goals in the third, including an empty-netter, to help pace the Hurricanes' offense. The 23-year-old has racked up five goals and one assist across his last five outings, and this was his first multi-point effort since Oct. 23 versus the Avalanche. Jarvis has a total of 15 goals, 22 points, 78 shots, 25 hits and a plus-3 rating through 24 appearances this season.

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Modest three-game point streak

Larkin scored a goal Friday in a 6-3 loss to Tampa Bay.

He cut the score to 4-3 late in the second frame with a sharp-angle wrist shot from the left circle. Larkin is on a three-game, three-point scoring streak that includes two goals and 10 shots. He leads the Red Wings with 27 points, including 14 goals, in 25 games. Larkin's 14 goals also lead his team.

  • Red Wings' Michael Rasmussen: Two points in return from injury

Rasmussen had a goal and an assist in a 6-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Friday. He also had three hits and three shots on goal.

Rasmussen tapped a rebound over the goal line at 3:13 of the second period to cut the score to 3-2. He had missed three games to an undisclosed injury. Overall, Rasmussen has three goals, four assists, 22 hits and 19 shots in 20 games while in a fourth-line role.

  • Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Four points in last two games

Guentzel had a goal and a power-play assist in a 6-3 win over the Red Wings on Friday.

Guentzel tipped a point shot at 12:37 of the third period to push the Bolts up 5-3. He has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last two games and 16 points, including nine goals, in 13 games in November. Overall, Guentzel has 13 goals, 13 assists and 66 shots in 24 games this season.

  • Flames' Cullen Potter: Goal, assist in ASU win

Potter scored a goal and added an assist in Arizona State University's 3-2 win over Ohio State University on Friday.

Potter continues to put up decent offense this season -- he's now at four goals and eight helpers through 15 appearances. However, he's also carrying a minus-12 rating for the 6-8-1 Sun Devils. Potter's offense and skilled skating will help cover some of his defensive struggles in the long run.

  • Lightning's Gage Goncalves: First point in 10 games

Goncalves scored a goal Friday in a 6-3 win over Detroit.

Goncalves beat Albert Johansson to a loose puck in the slot and put it past John Gibson just 34 seconds into the second period. It made the score 2-1 for Tampa Bay. It was his first point in 10 games (seven shots). Goncalves has two goals, four assists, 12 blocks, 29 hits and 16 shots in 24 games this season.

  • Mammoth's Barrett Hayton: Unavailable Friday

Hayton (illness) won't suit up versus the Stars on Friday.

Hayton will miss at least one game while under the weather. The 25-year-old's absence will temporarily thin out the Mammoth's center depth. Kevin Rooney will likely be in the lineup, while Kevin Stenlund should see a boost in ice time.

  • Lightning's Yanni Gourde: Rare two-goal game

Gourde scored twice Friday in a 6-3 win over Detroit.

The first one came on a goal-mouth scramble. The second came on a slap shot after a failed clearing attempt by the Wings; it stood as the winner. Gourde has three points (six shots) in his last two games, but his nine points (five goals, four assists) in 24 games will keep him on wire.

  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Not playing Friday

Marchessault (lower body) won't play Friday versus the Blackhawks.

Marchessault is considered day-to-day, giving him a chance to play Saturday versus the Jets. The 34-year-old winger has earned just two points over 11 outings in November so far.
