  • J.T. Miller C | NYR

Rangers' J.T. Miller: Labeled game-time call

Miller (upper body) is considered a game-time decision ahead of Wednesday's matchup with Carolina, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Miller has missed the last two games with his day-to-day injury. In his past five outings, the 32-year-old forward has notched three goals, including a pair with the man advantage, on seven shots. If Miller receives the all-clear, he should move into a top-six role for the Rangers in addition to linking up with the No. 1 power-play unit.

  • Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Will be out 2-3 more weeks

Pageau (upper body) is expected to be sidelined for another 2-3 weeks but should return before Christmas, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports Wednesday.

Pageau was stuck in a five-game pointless streak prior to suffering his upper-body injury and will now have to wait several weeks before he can try to break out of his slump. Through 22 outings this year, the veteran center has tallied six goals and six assists, setting him up to reach the 30-point mark for a fifth consecutive year. Considering his recovery timeline, Pageau will be a candidate to end up on injured reserve if the Islanders need the roster spot.

  • Jordan Staal C | CAR

Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Slated to miss Wednesday's game

Staal (illness) isn't expected to play Wednesday versus the Rangers, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.

Staal is set to miss his second straight game after being absent from Tuesday's practice and missing Wednesday's session as well. The 37-year-old forward has seven goals and nine points in 21 outings this year. Once he's recovered, Staal should slot back onto the third line.

  • Nic Dowd C | LV

Capitals' Nic Dowd: Game-time call versus Jets

Dowd (upper body) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's matchup with Winnipeg, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Dowd missed the Capitals' last four games due to his upper-body problem, but could rejoin the lineup versus the Jets. The veteran center hasn't scored a goal in 12 straight games while registering three assists, 19 hits and 13 shots during that span. If Dowd does slot back into the lineup, he figures to take on a bottom-six role.

  • Blue Jackets' Mathieu Olivier: Unavailable Wednesday

Olivier (upper body) is set to miss Wednesday's game against Toronto, according to Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site.

Olivier left Monday's 5-1 loss to Washington because of the injury. He has three goals, nine points, 44 PIM and 71 hits in 23 appearances in 2025-26. Luca Pinelli is expected to make his NHL debut Wednesday.

  • Ivan Ivan C | COL

    Avalanche's Ivan Ivan: Promoted Wednesday

Ivan was summoned from AHL Colorado on Wednesday, per Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette.

Ivan has two goals, six points and 14 PIM in 18 outings with AHL Colorado in 2025-26. The Avalanche have just 12 healthy forwards on their roster, even after his promotion, so Ivan will probably draw into the lineup as a member of the bottom six for Wednesday's clash against San Jose.

  • Oilers' Connor Clattenburg: Scores first NHL goal

Clattenburg scored a goal, added two PIM and racked up seven hits in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Stars.

Clattenburg got the Oilers on the board in the second period. This was just the second game of the 20-year-old winger's career, but he doesn't project as a high-scoring player. He brings mostly physical play, and a lot of it. He's at eight hits, four PIM and three shots on net over his two outings, though he could slip out of the lineup if Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed) returns Saturday versus the Kraken.

  • Oilers' Jack Roslovic: Scores again in loss

Roslovic scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Stars.

Roslovic left the game at one point after blocking a shot, but he was able to return and contribute a third-period goal. He's scored four times over his last five outings. The 28-year-old is up to 10 goals, 18 points, 53 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 23 appearances in a top-six role.

  • Radek Faksa C | DAL

Stars' Radek Faksa: Posts pair of helpers

Faksa notched two assists and two hits in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Oilers.

Faksa helped out on both of Nathan Bastian's goals in this contest. The 31-year-old Faksa has six helpers over his last six games, which is excellent production for a fourth-line forward. It won't last at that level, but he's been steady with 10 points, 11 shots on net, 33 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 22 appearances this season.

  • Tyler Seguin C | DAL

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Dishes pair of power-play assists

Seguin logged two power-play assists and two hits in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Oilers.

Seguin helped out on goals by Wyatt Johnston and Jason Robertson during the second period. This was Seguin's third multi-point effort across his last five outings. The 33-year-old is up to seven goals, eight assists, four power-play points, 28 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 23 appearances. He's been steady enough lately to help fantasy managers, and he should remain in a top-six role throughout the year.
