  • Stars' Justin Hryckowian: Adds insurance tally

Hryckowian scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Oilers.

Hryckowian has settled into a third-line role lately, picking up three goals and three assists over 12 outings in November. That's all of his offense in 22 appearances this year, and he's added 21 shots on net, 28 hits and a minus-3 rating. Those numbers won't pop for most fantasy managers, but it looks like he's here to stay in the NHL and is still young enough to grow his offense.

  • Sam Steel C | DAL

Stars' Sam Steel: Earns pair of points in win

Steel scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Oilers.

Steel snapped a seven-game point drought with his pair of points in the first period. The 27-year-old's ice time has started to recede amid the slump, but he's still featuring in a top-six role for the Stars, where his versatility and compete level have been useful. He's at three goals, nine points, 26 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-4 rating over 23 appearances. At this pace, he could challenge for the first 30-point campaign of his career.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Crosses 200-point mark in career

Johnston scored a goal on three shots and added three assists in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Oilers.

Johnston's second assist was the 100th helper and 200th point of his career. He didn't stay on the milestone number for long, as he picked up a goal and an assist on the power play during the second period as the Stars ran away with the lead. Prior to Tuesday, the 22-year-old had gone four contests without a point, a rarity for a player who's developed a reputation for consistency. He's up to 12 goals, 13 helpers, 65 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 23 appearances this season, with 15 of his 25 points coming on the power play.

  • Hurricanes' Justin Robidas: Recalled from minors

Robidas was summoned from AHL Chicago on Tuesday.

In a corresponding move, Carolina moved Jesperi Kotkaniemi (ankle) to injured reserve. Robdias has notched four goals and 12 points in 16 minor-league appearances this campaign. He could make his NHL season debut against the Rangers on Wednesday if Jordan Staal (illness) remains unavailable.

  • Hurricanes' Jesperi Kotkaniemi: Goes on injured reserve

Kotkaniemi (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

The Hurricanes recalled Justin Robidas from AHL Chicago in a corresponding move. Kotkaniemi has missed the last five games, and it's still unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. He has contributed two goals, five points, 17 shots on net, 11 blocked shots and 26 hits through 15 appearances this season.

  • Luca Pinelli C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Luca Pinelli: Summoned from AHL

Pinelli was recalled from AHL Cleveland on Tuesday.

After joining the Blue Jackets on an emergency basis, Pinelli will be an option for Wednesday's matchup against Toronto. He has registered five goals and 10 points in 13 minor-league outings this season. Pinelli's presence on the roster doesn't bode well for the availability of Mathieu Olivier (upper body) and Kirill Marchenko (upper body) for Wednesday's game.

  • Tyson Jost C | NSH

Predators' Tyson Jost: Manages assist Monday

Jost logged an assist and two shots on goal in Monday's 8-3 loss to the Panthers.

Jost has two helpers over seven outings in November, and he's also been scratched three times this month. He should continue to play regularly, as the Predators aren't carrying any extra forwards on the roster currently. Jost has three points, 19 shots on net, 23 hits and a minus-7 rating through 17 outings this season, mainly in a fourth-line role.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Gets first goal of campaign

Svechkov scored a goal and added three hits in Monday's 8-3 loss to the Panthers.

Svechkov tied the game briefly in the first period with his first goal of the season. The 22-year-old forward has just two points to go with 25 shots on net, 16 hits and a minus-9 rating across 20 outings this season. He's playing bottom-six minutes, in part due to his lack of offense but also because he fills more of a defensive role at center. Svechkov's unlikely to be an option for most fantasy managers given his limited contributions on a low-scoring team.

  • Sam Bennett C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Bennett: Puts away goal in big win

Bennett scored a goal on two shots and went plus-4 in Monday's 8-3 win over the Predators.

Bennett has two goals and two assists over his last four games, which has been one of his best stretches of the season. It helps that the Panthers have scored 20 goals in that span, creating more offense to go around. The 29-year-old is up to five goals, four assists, 44 shots on net, 43 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 22 contests in a middle-six role this season.

  • Kings' Alex Turcotte: Scratched amid slump

Turcotte was a healthy scratch in Monday's 2-1 win over the Senators.

Turcotte entered Monday on an 11-game point drought and didn't receive the chance to end the slump. His ice time has been trending down -- he saw just 5:33 in Friday's game against Boston. While Turcotte hasn't been able to make the most of limited minutes this season, his replacement Monday, Samuel Helenius, logged just 3:25 of ice time. That could lead to an open competition for the last forward spot in the lineup until one of those two players impresses head coach Jim Hiller.
