  • Hurricanes' Jesperi Kotkaniemi: No timetable for return

The Hurricanes indicated Monday that Kotkaniemi (ankle) doesn't have a timetable to return.

Kotkaniemi missed Saturday's game against the Oilers, and while the issue isn't believed to be a particularly long-term concern, he should at least be sidelined for Monday's matchup against Boston, and it's not yet clear when he'll be able to return. Mark Jankowski should continue to see playing time for the Hurricanes while Kotkaniemi is unavailable.

  • Brad Lambert C | WPG

Jets' Brad Lambert: Sent to AHL

Lambert was assigned to AHL Manitoba on Monday.

Lambert has been a healthy scratch in Winnipeg's last five games. He has one goal, three shots on net, one blocked shot and three hits in four NHL appearances this season. Lambert hasn't picked up a point in two AHL outings this campaign.

  • Parker Ford C | WPG

Jets' Parker Ford: Sent to minors

Ford was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Monday.

Ford had been with the Jets since the start of the regular season, and he recorded an assist, 20 hits, 11 blocked shots and four PIM while averaging 9:49 of ice time over 11 appearances. However, Morgan Barron (undisclosed) and Cole Koepke (undisclosed) were activated off injured reserve Monday, so Ford will head to the minors, where he should have more consistent opportunities to play.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Removed from IR

Barron (undisclosed) was activated from injured reserve Monday.

After missing the last six games, Barron will probably return to the lineup in a fourth-line role against Columbus on Tuesday. He has three goals, six points, 15 shots on net, seven blocked shots and 20 hits across 12 appearances this season.

  • Alex Newhook C | MON

Canadiens' Alex Newhook: Placed on injured reserve

Newhook (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.

Newhook underwent surgery to repair a fractured ankle Friday that carries a return timetable of approximately four months, so his move to injured reserve isn't surprising. Prior to sustaining his injury, he had recorded six goals, six assists, 26 hits, eight PIM and five blocked shots while averaging 14:38 of ice time over 17 appearances.

  • Sharks' Michael Misa: Set to miss several more weeks

Head coach Ryan Warsofsky said Monday that Misa (lower body) is slated to miss more than two additional weeks, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Misa landed on injured reserve Nov. 6, and he was considered week-to-week when the move was made. He doesn't yet have a clear timetable to return, but Warsofsky indicated Monday that Misa is behind Jeff Skinner (lower body), who is set to miss approximately two weeks. As a result, Misa isn't expected to be in the mix to return until at least early December.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Moves to LTIR

Duchene (upper body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Monday.

Despite being considered day-to-day, Duchene has missed the last 14 games. It's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. His move to LTIR could lead to the activation of Jamie Benn (upper body), who hasn't played yet this season after undergoing surgery for a collapsed lung in late September. Duchene has registered one goal, one assist, three shots on net, four blocked shots and two hits in four appearances this season.

  • Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Deposits goal Sunday

Karlsson scored a goal on two shots, added 10 PIM and doled out four hits in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Lightning.

Karlsson has two goals and two helpers over eight games in November. The 26-year-old has mostly filled a bottom-six role so far, and he will likely continue to do so after Conor Garland (undisclosed) got hurt Sunday. David Kampf will be in the mix for minutes soon after signing with the Canucks on Saturday, but the team's ongoing injury concerns should leave room for Karlsson to stick in the lineup. Karlsson has six points, 20 hits and 25 shots on net over 17 appearances.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Still sidelined Monday

Granlund aggravated his lower-body injury and won't be available against Utah on Monday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Granlund is still considered day-to-day, but this will be his 10th missed game in the Ducks' last 11 contests. When healthy, Granlund has offered decent offensive upside, generating nine points in nine outings, including a pair of power-play points. Once given the all-clear, Granlund should slot into a middle-six role, perhaps shifting to the wing on the third line with Ryan Strome.

  • Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Won't play Monday

Poehling (upper body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Mammoth, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Poehling will be unavailable for a third consecutive game due to an upper-body injury, but he remains day-to-day for now. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return to game action, but his next opportunity to do so will be Wednesday against Boston.
