Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Tallies in overtime loss

Kyrou scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Kraken.

Kyrou was scratched Thursday to send a message to the team. For most of Saturday's game, it looked like that message got through, with Kyrou netting a go-ahead goal early in the third period, but the Kraken pulled off some heroics to spoil the Blues' effort. With five goals, nine points, 36 shots on net and a minus-7 rating over 15 appearances, Kyrou has been alright but far from his best to begin 2025-26. Another scratching seems unlikely, but head coach Jim Montgomery figures to do anything necessary to hold his team accountable amid a 5-8-3 start to the year that has them 15th in the Western Conference with a league-worst minus-19 goal differential.

  • Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Beats buzzer to force overtime

Stephenson scored a goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blues.

Stephenson provided late heroics -- his goal at 19:58 of the third period forced overtime after the Kraken had trailed for most of the frame. The 31-year-old swapped lines with Matty Beniers for this contest. Stephenson has three points over four outings in November, and he's up to four goals, eight points, 22 shots, 13 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 14 appearances on the year.

  • Shane Wright C | SEA

Kraken's Shane Wright: Scores game-winner in overtime

Wright scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blues.

The Kraken never lost the puck in overtime, culminating in Wright's goal at the 1:57 mark to steal both standings points after trailing for most of the third period. The 21-year-old center has chipped in a decent share of offense with four points over his last seven contests. He's at four goals, eight points, 22 shots on net, 11 hits, six blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 14 appearances this season, which is a similar pace to his 44-point effort over 79 outings in 2024-25.

  • Jack McBain C | UTA

Mammoth's Jack McBain: Ends slump with helper

McBain notched an assist, three hits and two PIM in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Canadiens.

McBain had gone 12 games without a point prior to Saturday. The 25-year-old has slotted in as the Mammoth's third-line center, but the lack of offense makes him tough to consider for fantasy. Overall, he has two points, 25 shots on net, 38 hits, 21 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 15 appearances.

  • Kirby Dach C | MON

Canadiens' Kirby Dach: Adds late goal

Dach scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Mammoth.

Dach picked off a pass and scored on a breakaway late in the third period. He's now racked up four goals over his last three games despite primarily featuring in a bottom-six role in that span. The Canadiens' offense is pretty good, so there are goals to go around, and Dach's talented enough to get his share. He's at seven points, 19 shots on net, 13 hits, 11 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-2 rating over 12 appearances.

  • Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Three points in win

Pageau tallied an empty-net goal, dished out two assists and had three hits in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Rangers.

Pageau helped out on Jonathan Drouin's goal before scoring one of his own on the Rangers' empty net. Pageau then picked up his second assist a minute later when Anders Lee scored the final goal for the Islanders. Overall, the 32-year-old Pageau has five goals, six assists, 18 shots on net and 26 hits in 15 games this season. The third-line center has at least one point in four of his last five games. With solid outputs in both points and hits so far this season, Pageau has good fantasy value in banger leagues.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Another empty-netter Saturday

Jarvis scored an empty-net goal and added two hits in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Sabres.

Jarvis has two goals and a helper over his last three games, but both tallies in that span have been empty-netters. He was briefly demoted to the third line, but Jarvis is back on the top line and should stay in that role a majority of the time as a key forward for the Hurricanes. He's up to nine goals, five assists, 47 shots on net, 13 hits and a plus-4 rating over 14 appearances, though fantasy managers will probably want to see him get back to the dynamic level of offense he displayed in the opening week of the campaign.

  • Frank Nazar C | CHI

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Won't play Sunday

Nazar (undisclosed) won't play Sunday against the Red Wings, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.

Nazar and Sam Lafferty both took warmups, but the former won't suit up after being injured against the Flames on Friday; Lafferty will play. Despite Nazar's absence from Sunday's game, there is little concern that the injury could lead to a lengthier absence. The Blackhawks won't be in action again until Wednesday, giving Nazar a few days to recover.

  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Pots goal vs. Utah

Suzuki scored a goal and posted a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 6-2 win over Utah. He also recorded three shots, one hit and one blocked shot.

Suzuki saw the end of his 12-game point streak in a 4-3 loss to the Devils on Thursday, but he returned to his scoring ways Saturday with a third-period goal. Easily one of the best forwards in fantasy over the first month of the regular season, the star playmaker is up to 20 points (four goals, 16 helpers), a plus-11 rating, 33 shots, eight hits and 11 blocked shots so far. If he's able to improve on his 12.1 shooting percentage, his numbers could look even better in the future, as his influence on Montreal's offense is simply too big to overlook.

  • Alex Newhook C | MON

Canadiens' Alex Newhook: Scores, assists in win

Newhook scored a goal and delivered an assist in Saturday's 6-2 win over Utah. He also tallied two PIM, five shots on goal, two hits and a plus-3 rating.

Newhook gave the Canadiens a 3-2 lead with a snap shot at the 13:13 mark of the second period, and he'd later assist Nick Suzuki to give Montreal a 5-2 edge in the final frame. Newhook continues to produce at a steady rate for Montreal and has cracked the scoresheet in seven of the team's last nine games, tallying 10 points (five goals, five assists), 16 shots, 17 hits, four blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over that stretch.
