  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Pots power-play tally

Scheifele scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Utah.

Scheifele's power-play snipe tied the game late in the second period, but otherwise it was a quiet night for Winnipeg's alternate captain. Through nine games, Scheifele has now racked up eight goals and five assists and he's been blanked in just one outing. His 13 points are currently tied for eighth league wide, and once you factor in the team context of a strong and well-rounded Jets squad, he remains a highly favorable option when Winnipeg looks to get back on track in Minnesota on Tuesday night.

  • Sharks' Adam Gaudette: Won't return to Sunday's game

Gaudette has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Wild due to an upper-body injury.

Gaudette exited Sunday's game midway through the second period, and he was ruled out ahead of the final frame. Prior to his departure, he recorded a hit and a plus-1 rating in 6:39 of ice time. It's not yet clear whether his upper-body injury will impact his availability for Tuesday's game against the Kings.

  • Bruins' Georgi Merkulov: Two goals in Sunday's AHL win

Merkulov scored twice on three shots in AHL Providence's 4-1 win over Bridgeport on Sunday.

Merkulov continues to shine at the AHL level with four goals and nine points over six contests. He's gotten on the scoresheet in five games, and three of those have been multi-point efforts. The winger is an established AHL scoring threat with at least 54 points in each of his three full seasons in the league. If he continues to play well, he should be at the top of the list for potential call-ups if the Bruins need reinforcements at the NHL level later in the season.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

Devils' Jack Hughes: Registers third multi-goal game

Hughes scored twice on two shots and added a plus-1 rating during his 22:43 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Avalanche.

Hughes' two goals included the overtime game-winner on which he was left all alone in front and buried it from in tight. This was the 24-year-old Devils star's third multi-goal outing of the season, all of which have come in the last five games. Hughes is up to eight goals on the year, tied for the most in the NHL with Shane Pinto.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Avalanche's Brock Nelson: Grabs goal in defeat

Nelson registered a goal on two shots on target, a plus-1 rating and two penalty minutes during his 17:40 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Devils.

It's been a tough start to the season for Nelson offensively, so it's a good sign to see him get a goal against the Devils. The 34-year-old has seen plenty of ice time and has a plus-4 rating, but whether that's more to do with him or the quality of the team around him remains to be seen. Both fantasy managers and the Avalanche alike will need much more from Nelson, who had his ninth 20-goal season in the NHL just last year but has mustered only three points through 10 games in 2025-26.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Puts home goal in defeat

MacKinnon had a goal on four shots and a minus-1 rating during 21:39 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Devils.

MacKinnon has been his usual magnificent self to begin this season, and he extended his point streak to three games Sunday by burying his seventh goal of the campaign. Through the first 10 games of the season, the 30-year-old has been held off the scoresheet just twice while accumulating 14 points.

  • Blackhawks' Jason Dickinson: Expected to play Sunday

Dickinson is expected to play Sunday against the Kings, CHGO Blackhawks reports.

Dickinson has missed the last two games with a nagging injury, but he seems slated to re-join the lineup Sunday, according to Blackhawks head coach Jeff Blashill. The 30-year-old has one goal and one assist in five games so far this season, playing mostly in a middle-six role.

  • Blue Jackets' Isac Lundestrom: Picks up first assist

Lundestrom logged an assist in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Lundestrom got on the scoresheet for the first time with the Blue Jackets. In addition to the helper, he has three shots on net, four hits, five blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over eight appearances in a fourth-line role. Lundestrom's defensive work is enough to keep him in the lineup, but he's unlikely to score enough to help fantasy managers.

  • Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Draws helper Saturday

Sillinger logged an assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Sillinger has had a slow start to 2025-26 with just two assists over eight games. He's played primarily on the third line, which may be a factor in his lackluster offense. The 22-year-old has added 13 shots on net, eight hits, eight PIM and a plus-1 rating. He's reached the 30-point mark in three of his first four campaigns, but he's yet to reach another level, though youth is still on his side.

  • Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Gets first goal of season

Coyle scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Coyle has been steady in a middle-six role so far while seeing ice time in all situations. He's earned a point in three of his last four games as his offense starts to pick up. The veteran center has a goal, three assists, 12 shots on net, 14 hits and a minus-3 rating across eight appearances. That kind of production won't pop off the page, but it may be enough to help in deeper fantasy formats.
