  • Golden Knights' William Karlsson: One of each in win

    Karlsson scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.

    Karlsson gave the Golden Knights their first lead of Game 3 in the second period before setting up Reilly Smith for a last-second goal in the third for Vegas' first win in the series. Karlsson has four points over three contests in the second round, and he's at six points, 15 shots on net, six blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over nine playoff outings.

  • Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Expected to play

    Dorofeyev (undisclosed) is expected to play against Edmonton on Saturday in Game 3, per SinBin Vegas.

    Following a three-game absence, Dorofeyev will return to the second line and second power-play unit. He has earned one goal, an assist and 18 shots on net across five outings this postseason. Dorofeyev will replace Brandon Saad (lower body) in Saturday's lineup versus the Oilers.

  • Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Pots goal in Game 3 OT win

    Barkov scored a goal on four shots and recorded five hits in Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 3.

    Barkov scored for a second straight game and has found the back of the net in three of his last four appearances. The 29-year-old star center has been a model of consistency for the Panthers this postseason, cracking the scoresheet in all but two of his eight appearances while racking up seven points (three goals, four assists), 19 shots, 23 hits and eight blocked shots.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two points, seven hits in Game 3

    Verhaeghe notched a goal, an assist, three shots and seven hits in Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 3.

    The 29-year-old forward has been playing at a high level and has recorded points in four of his last five playoff appearances, tallying three goals, three assists, 14 shots, 30 hits and two blocked shots over that stretch. Even though the likes of Aleksander Barkov, Sam Reinhart and Matthew Tkachuk gain most of the attention from opposing defenses, Verhaeghe has been doing a good job of late, especially since his regular-season numbers took a hit compared to his previous two campaigns.

    Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Goal, assist in Game 3

    Reinhard recorded a goal, an assist, six shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 3.

    He recorded his third multi-point performance this postseason at an opportune time for the Panthers. Reinhart assisted Aleksander Barkov's goal in the first period and later found the back of the net in the second frame. The 29-year-old Reinhart has recorded eight points (three goals, five assists), 26 shots, 17 hits and six blocked shots across eight playoff appearances thus far.

    Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Ends drought with two goals

    Tavares scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Friday's 5-4 overtime loss against the Panthers in Game 3. He also recorded six shots on goal, two hits and one blocked shot.

    Tavares ended a four-game drought without a point by finding the back of the net in the first and second periods, but his contributions weren't enough to lift Toronto to what would've been a 3-0 series lead. The 34-year-old playmaker has five goals and seven points through nine appearances this playoffs while also racking up 29 shots, 12 hits and nine blocked shots. He's been deadly as a power-play threat, with four of his seven points (three goals, one helper) coming with the man advantage.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Two helpers in Game 3

    Matthews delivered two assists in Friday's 5-4 overtime loss against the Panthers in Game 3 .

    Matthews has gone three straight games without finding the back of the net and has scored just two goals in nine appearances this postseason. However, he's compensated for the lack of scoring with an eye for setting up his teammates. He's contributed three assists in the last two games, giving him eight helpers through nine playoff contests.

  • Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Doubtful Saturday

    Jankowski (undisclosed) is doubtful for Game 3 versus Washington on Saturday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

    Jankowski skated at practice Saturday, and while it looked like he would be an option to return after practice Friday, coach Rod Brind'Amour all but ruled the 30-year-old forward out of Game 3. Look for Jack Roslovic to remain in the lineup due to Jankowski's likely absence.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Adds assist Friday

    Scheifele logged an assist and three shots on goal in Friday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 2.

    Scheifele has opened the second round with two points, 10 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over two contests. He helped out on a Nikolaj Ehlers tally in the first period of Friday's game. Overall, Scheifele has contributed three goals, five helpers, 16 shots, 10 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-2 rating over seven playoff outings. He doesn't look rusty after missing the last two games of the first round due to an upper-body injury.

    Jets' Adam Lowry: Pads lead in Game 2 win

    Lowry scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 2.

    Lowry has racked up four goals over nine playoff outings. His latest tally, his first of the second round, put the Jets up 3-0 in Game 2. The 32-year-old center has added 17 shots on net, 42 hits, five blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-1 rating this postseason, playing mainly in a middle-six role.
