  • Shane Pinto C | OTT

Senators' Shane Pinto: Generates helper in Game 1

Pinto notched an assist, three shots on goal and five hits in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Maple Leafs in Game 1.

Pinto has racked up eight points over 10 outings since the start of April. The 24-year-old opens the postseason in a third-line role, but he led all Senators forwards with 19:23 of ice time, so he'll be more of a factor than his place in the lineup suggests. The center set a career high with 37 points in 70 regular-season contests in 2024-25.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Draws assist in loss

Cozens notched an assist, two shots on goal, five hits and 10 PIM in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Maple Leafs in Game 1.

Cozens set up a Drake Batherson tally in the first period to get the Senators on the board. The 24-year-old Cozens recorded seven points over the last seven regular-season games, and he should continue to carry some momentum while seeing second-line minutes and power-play time. He's a well-rounded option for fantasy, having posted 47 points, 188 shots on net, 205 hits, 68 PIM and a minus-17 rating over 82 regular-season appearances between Ottawa and Buffalo.

  • Ridly Greig C | OTT

Senators' Ridly Greig: Finds twine in loss

Greig scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Maple Leafs in Game 1.

Greig briefly cut the deficit to 4-2 in the third period before Morgan Rielly answered 45 seconds later. The 22-year-old Greig picked up 10 points over his last 13 regular-season contests as the Senators surged into the playoffs, and he looks to have kept some momentum up. He had a total of 34 points, 119 shots on net and 138 hits across 78 regular-season appearances this year.

  • Maple Leafs' Calle Jarnkrok: Registers helper

Jarnkrok managed an assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Senators in Game 1.

Jarnkrok helped out on Oliver Ekman-Larsson's opening goal at 7:09 of the first period. The 33-year-old Jarnkrok has a helper in three straight contests while sticking in a fourth-line role. The veteran forward was limited to 19 regular-season appearances, earning seven points, nine shots on net, 15 hits and nine blocked shots. He isn't expected to be a major factor on offense as long as he's confined to the bottom six.

  • Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: Contributes helper in loss

Laughton notched an assist, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Senators in Game 1.

Laughton set up Oliver Ekman-Larsson on the opening goal at 7:09 of the first period. For now, Laughton is holding down a role as the fourth-line center. He could move around the lineup once David Kampf gets back in, but Laughton is not expected to be a scratch. In the regular season, Laughton combined for 31 points, 125 shots on net, 178 hits, 54 blocked shots and a minus-18 rating over 80 appearances between Toronto and Philadelphia.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Notches helper in Game 1 win

McMann recorded an assist, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Senators in Game 1.

McMann helped out on a Morgan Rielly tally in the third period. The 28-year-old McMann opened the playoffs in a third-line role, which may make it difficult for him to put up steady offense, though he adds plenty of physicality. He had a career-best 20 goals and 34 points while adding 169 shots, 136 hits and a plus-12 rating over 74 regular-season outings, though he was limited to just one helper over his previous 11 games.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Supplies pair of helpers

Matthews notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added six shots on net, four hits and two blocked shots in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Senators in Game 1.

Matthews sprung Mitch Marner for a breakaway goal in the first period, and then did work closer to the net to set up Matthew Knies' power-play tally to close the scoring. The 27-year-old Matthews was hot in April with four goals and six helpers over eight contests to close the regular season at a total of 78 points in 67 outings. The superstar center is poised to play on the top line and first power-play unit throughout Toronto's playoff run.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Earns two points Sunday

Tavares scored a goal on six shots, added an assist and logged three hits in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Senators in Game 1.

Tavares' power-play goal at 4:07 of the second period stood as the game-winner. He also set up a William Nylander tally a few minutes later. Tavares was resurgent on offense with 38 goals and 74 points over 75 regular-season outings, though he was a little quieter with five points over eight games to begin April. He'll spend the bulk of his time on the second line while also playing on the first power-play unit, putting him in a good position to rack up points.

  • Cody Glass C | NJ

    Devils' Cody Glass: Injured Sunday

Glass sustained an undisclosed injury in Sunday's 4-1 loss to Carolina in Game 1, and there was no update on his status after the contest, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Glass logged two hits and a minus-1 rating in 9:04 of ice time prior to departing. The right-shot center should be considered day-to-day ahead of Game 2 on Tuesday. If he's forced to miss any time, Curtis Lazar or Tomas Tatar could draw back into the lineup.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Slated to play in Game 1

Draisaitl (undisclosed) is expected to be in the lineup for Game 1 against the Kings on Monday, Derek Van Diest of NHL.com reported Saturday.

Drasaitl appeared in only three of Edmonton's final 14 games, finishing the 2024-25 regular season with 106 points and a league-leading 52 goals in 71 appearances. He will occupy a top-six role and skate on the first power-play combination versus the Kings in Game 1.
