  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Collects two points in win

Trocheck scored a power-play goal on three shots and added an assist in Thursday's 9-2 win over the Islanders.

Trocheck has four goals and two assists over his last six outings. He was involved in the last two tallies of the Rangers' four-goal first period, with his goal standing as the game-winner. The center is up to 24 goals, 55 points (11 on the power play), 194 shots on net, 212 hits, 76 blocked shots, 42 PIM and a plus-2 rating across 79 appearances this season.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Pair of points in blowout win

Zibanejad scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 9-2 win over the Islanders.

Fantasy managers who have stuck with Zibanejad this long have gotten a reward in the form of seven points over his last three games. The 31-year-old was involved in the Rangers' first two goals Thursday. He's now at 18 tallies, 40 assists, 179 shots on net, 45 blocked shots, 44 hits and a minus-21 rating over 79 appearances. There are three games left on the Rangers' schedule for Zibanejad to make an attempt to reach the 20-goal and 60-point marks, but it'll still be his worst full-length season since 2017-18.

  • John Beecher C | CGY

Bruins' John Beecher: Closing year cold

Beecher was held off the scoresheet for the 13th straight game in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

Beecher has added nine shots on net, 14 hits, 13 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating during his point drought. The Bruins play just twice more in 2024-25, and while Beecher should be able to stay in the lineup, he's failed to put together a positive finish to the year. He's at 11 points, 44 shots on net, 85 hits, 71 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 78 appearances in a bottom-six role, so he still has some on-ice appeal to the Bruins as a defensive forward.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Not available Friday

Draisaitl (undisclosed) will not be in the lineup versus San Jose on Friday, according to Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic.

Draisaitl will miss his fourth straight game and eighth contest in Edmonton's last 11 outings. He struck for three goals and two assists in three games between injuries, giving him 52 goals and 54 assists over 71 games. He has surpassed the 100-point mark in six of his last seven seasons, with 84 points coming in 56 appearances during the COVID-shortened 2020-21 campaign.

  • Oilers' Trent Frederic: Won't play against San Jose

Frederic (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Sharks, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.

The 27-year-old will be unavailable for a third consecutive game, and head coach Kris Knoblauch said Friday that Frederic might not be available for the start of the playoffs, suggesting that he could be forced to miss more time to close out the regular season. Over 58 appearances between Boston and Edmonton this year, Frederic has logged eight goals, seven assists, 157 hits and 44 PIM while averaging 13:43 of ice time.

  • Jiri Kulich C | BUF

Sabres' Jiri Kulich: Deals assist in Thursday's loss

Kulich notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Kulich has two helpers over his last three games but no goals over his last seven outings despite taking 13 shots on net in that span. The 20-year-old has remained in a top-six role amid his scoring struggles. For the season, he's at 23 points, 124 shots on net, 38 hits and 34 blocked shots across 58 appearances in his first full NHL campaign.

  • Blue Jackets' Zach Aston-Reese: Pots goal Thursday

Aston-Reese scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Sabres.

After going 57 games without a goal earlier in the season, the 30-year-old has two tallies across his last four contests. Aston-Reese is holding onto a fourth-line spot to close out 2024-25, so don't expect much offense out of him. He's matched his career high of 17 points from 2018-19 while adding 100 shots on net, 174 hits, 56 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating over 76 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Morgan Frost C | CGY

    Flames' Morgan Frost: Available Friday

Frost (undisclosed) will be back in the lineup against Minnesota on Friday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Frost is currently stuck in a 23-game goal drought during which he has recorded seven helpers, 39 shots and 24 hits while averaging 16:58 of ice time. Despite having been limited to just 9:40 of ice time versus the Ducks on Wednesday, the 25-year-old center will remain in a third-line role in addition to linking up with the No. 2 power-play unit.

  • Boone Jenner C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Boone Jenner: Scores game-winner on power play

Jenner scored a power-play goal on six shots and added three hits in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Sabres.

Jenner's tally at 6:42 of the third period gave the Blue Jackets' their first lead of the game, and it was enough for the win. Following his six-game point streak from March 21 to April 3, the 31-year-old endured a three-game slump before snapping it Thursday. He's up to seven goals, 19 points, 62 shots on net, 41 hits and a minus-2 rating across 22 appearances this season.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Nets goal vs. Dallas

Barron scored a goal in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars.

Barron gave the Jets a 2-0 lead with a snap shot in the early stages of the second period. This was Barron's eighth goal of the campaign, and he's found the back of the net in back-to-back games. Barron is up to 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) on the season, but as a fourth-line forward with limited scoring contributions, his upside is mostly limited to leagues that reward physical stats. On that note, he's notched at least 115 hits and 38 blocked shots for the third consecutive season.
