Luke Glendening C | PHI
Lightning's Luke Glendening: Won't play against Detroit
Glendening (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Red Wings, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Glendening sustained an injury in the first period of Wednesday's game against the Maple Leafs, and he was unable to return. While the exact nature and severity of the injury aren't yet known, he'll be forced to miss at least one game, and head coach Jon Cooper said Friday that Glendening might not play again during the regular season, but the team hopes that the 35-year-old will be healthy in time for the start of the playoffs. Zemgus Girgensons is a candidate to enter the lineup in Glendening's absence.

Jake Guentzel C | TB
Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Returns to practice Friday
Guentzel (personal) was back at practice Friday, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Guentzel did not play Tuesday versus Toronto, awaiting the birth of his child. The 30-year-old has 38 goals and 39 assists across 76 games with the Lightning this season. He has been a stud on the power play with 16 goals and 11 helpers on the Lightning's top unit. He should be back in his regular role on the top line, alongside Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point on Friday versus Detroit.

Ryan Donato C | CHI
Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Pots goal No. 30
Donato scored his 30th goal of the season in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Bruins.
The 29-year-old broke open a 1-1 tie with a tally early in the third period, as Chicago scored three times in 93 seconds to put the game away. Donato had been held off the scoresheet in four straight games coming into Thursday as his breakout campaign finally runs out of steam, but through 77 appearances this season, he's produced 60 points, shattering his previous career high of 31.

Morgan Geekie C | BOS
Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Two points against Chicago
Geekie scored a goal and added an assist in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Chicago.
While very little has gone right for Boston this season, Geekie's chemistry with David Pastrnak on the top line offers something to build on. Geekie extended his point streak to nine games with Thursday's effort, a stretch in which he's produced seven goals and 17 points, and the 25-year-old has delivered career-best numbers in goals (31), points (55) and shots on net (146) in 2024-25.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Deals another helper
Carlsson provided an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Kings.
Carlsson has four helpers over the last three games, and all of those assists have been on Cutter Gauthier tallies. The two young forwards have found chemistry on the top line late in the season, though Carlsson has gone six contests without a goal. The center is at 44 points (20 goals, 24 assists), 104 shots on net and a plus-9 rating over 73 appearances. He's a playmaker at heart, but he's shown a little bit of everything while headlining a growing core for the Ducks.

Phillip Danault C | MON
Kings' Phillip Danault: Exceeds 40-point mark Thursday
Danault notched an assist in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Ducks.
Danault hasn't been explosive on offense, but he has seven points and 13 shots on net over his last 11 games. The 32-year-old set up a Jordan Spence tally late in this contest. Danault eclipsed the 40-point mark with the assist, and he's earned eight goals, 33 helpers, 122 shots on net, 79 hits, 71 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating over 77 appearances.

Quinton Byfield C | LA
Kings' Quinton Byfield: Power-play goal, assist in win
Byfield scored a power-play goal, dished an assist and added two hits in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Ducks.
Byfield scored for the second game in a row and has earned six points over his last six contests. The 22-year-old's late surge has him up to 21 goals and 50 points through 78 appearances in 2024-25, including 10 goals and 16 points over 21 games since the start of March. He's done all of that from a middle-six role, though he's often picked up extra minutes while the Kings look to be building in some rest during games for Anze Kopitar. Byfield is a strong contributor for points, shots and hits for the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs.

Anze Kopitar C | LA
Kings' Anze Kopitar: Reaches 20-goal mark
Kopitar scored a goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Ducks.
Kopitar's goal at 2:17 of the second period stood as the game-winner. He also helped out on the first of Kevin Fiala's two power-play goals in the contest. Efficiency has been the name of the game for Kopitar in 2024-25 -- he reached the 20-goal mark for the third year in a row and the 13th time in his 19-year career, but he's taken just 92 shots on net this season. He's at 64 points (21 on the power play), 66 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating over 78 appearances. Kopitar's drop in shot volume should be a red flag for fantasy managers in 2025-26, but his game has not dropped off yet.

Jared McCann C | SEA
Kraken's Jared McCann: Reaches 60-point mark in loss
McCann scored a goal in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Golden Knights.
McCann was able to poke in a puck late in the second period, but that was all the Kraken could put up against Adin Hill. A late surge -- six goals and 15 points over the last 12 games -- has gotten McCann to the 60-point mark this season. He's added 198 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 47 hits and a plus-10 rating over 80 appearances. He's looked his best this year alongside Shane Wright and Andre Burakovsky, though McCann has been able to find success in a variety of spots in the lineup.

William Karlsson C | LV
Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Scores in Thursday's win
Karlsson scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.
Karlsson has two goals and an assist over the last three contests. The center dropped back down the lineup Thursday with the return of Tomas Hertl (shoulder) -- though Jack Eichel (upper body) was still out of action. Karlsson is now at nine goals, 27 points, 112 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating across 50 appearances this season. Even in a third-line role, he can be an effective depth scorer with playing time in all situations.
