Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Sets up shortie
Teravainen logged a shorthanded assist in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Penguins.
Teravainen's goal drought reached 15 contests, but he snapped a skid of four games without a point. During the goal drought, he has managed eight assists and a minus-8 rating. It's a rough end to the year for the 30-year-old winger, who has generally been good with 57 points (15 goals, 42 helpers), 104 shots on net and a minus-22 rating over 77 outings. A late surge could get him to the 60-point mark for the fifth time in his career.

Connor Bedard C | CHI
Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Provides helper on game-winner
Bedard notched an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Penguins.
Bedard timed a pass to give space for Ilya Mikheyev to break into the Penguins' zone alone. The play worked, and Mikheyev ended up with the game-winning tally. Bedard has gone six games without a goal but has racked up four assists in that span. The 19-year-old reached the 60-point mark for the second year in a row, and he also set a career high with his 40th assist. He's added 183 shots on net, 44 hits, 35 blocked shots, 64 PIM and a minus-38 rating over 77 appearances.

Frank Nazar C | CHI
Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Pots shorthanded goal
Nazar scored a shorthanded goal on four shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Penguins.
Nazar has three goals and two assists over his last six games. The 21-year-old is already displaying some two-way acumen -- his first career shorthanded goal came before he's ever scored on the power play. The Michigan native is up to nine goals, 21 points, 81 shots on net and a minus-11 rating over 48 appearances this season.

Nils Aman C | VAN
Canucks' Nils Aman: Set to miss another game
Aman (undisclosed) wasn't warming up ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Golden Knights, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports, indicating that he'll miss a second consecutive game.
Aman sustained an undisclosed injury during practice Friday, and it's not yet clear when he'll return. However, the Canucks will get a boost Sunday, as Nils Hoglander (undisclosed) is slated to return to the lineup.

Nick Cousins C | OTT
Senators' Nick Cousins: Set to travel to Columbus
Cousins (knee) skated Sunday and will join the Senators on their road trip to Columbus ahead of Tuesday's matchup, Claire Hanna of TSN reports.
Cousins has been sidelined since late January after undergoing knee surgery, but he's been progressing in his recovery recently. It's not yet clear whether he'll be back in action against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, but it seems likely that he'll have a chance to return to game action over the final week and a half of the regular season.

Dylan Strome C | WAS
Capitals' Dylan Strome: Contributes power-play assist
Strome notched a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Islanders.
Strome had the secondary helper on Alex Ovechkin's record-breaking 895th career goal. The 28-year-old Strome has stepped up in recent years to fill the void in the absence of Nicklas Backstrom (hip) as a playmaking center who can make passes that allow Ovechkin to excel. Strome has two goals and six assists during his five-game point streak and has racked up 25 goals, 51 assists, 31 power-play points, 134 shots on net, 53 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in 77 appearances during his third straight career-best year.

Kyle MacLean C | NYI
Islanders' Kyle MacLean: Supplies pair of helpers Sunday
MacLean recorded two assists, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
MacLean earned his first multi-point effort of the season by assisting on both of linemate Marc Gatcomb's tallies in the contest. The 25-year-old MacLean also snapped a six-game point drought. He's served in a fourth-line role throughout 2024-25, earning four goals, seven assists, 56 shots on net, 101 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 75 appearances. That's just a little better than his nine-point showing as a rookie over 32 games in 2023-24, though offense has been hard to come by for many of the Islanders' players.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau C | NYI
Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Adds goal in win
Pageau scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
It took a review to confirm the puck had crossed the line after Pageau banked in a shot off Charlie Lindgren at 4:20 of the third period. The goal ended a 13-game goal drought for Pageau, who had four assists and 14 shots in that span. He had some initial success on the second line following the Islanders' trade of Brock Nelson to the Avalanche, but Pageau has struggled with consistency for the last few weeks. The 32-year-old Pageau is up to 13 goals, 38 points, 115 shots on net, 134 hits, 54 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 73 appearances.
-
Bo Horvat C | NYI
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Opens scoring in Sunday's win
Horvat scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
Horvat opened the scoring at 7:06 of the first period. The first-line center has two goals over three contests in April, and he's earned five goals and four assists across his last 10 outings. For the season, Horvat's up to 26 tallies, 53 points, 222 shots on net, 97 hits and a plus-2 rating across 75 appearances. He has reached the 50-point mark in seven of the last nine campaigns.

Marc Gatcomb C | NYI
Islanders' Marc Gatcomb: Nets pair of goals in win
Gatcomb scored twice on four shots, added six hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
Gatcomb has five goals over his last 11 contests. That's a good pace, but it's a little more impressive coming from a fourth-liner who has not exceeded 12 minutes of ice time in any of those games. He's now at eight goals, one assist, 30 shots on net, 122 hits and a plus-1 rating over his first 33 appearances in the NHL.
