  • Canucks' Teddy Blueger: Unavailable Friday

Blueger (illness) won't play Friday versus the Blue Jackets, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Blueger was questionable to play earlier in the day, and it looks like he'll have to sit out a game. Max Sasson is projected to enter the lineup for the Canucks, who are now down three of their top four centers as Blueger joins Elias Pettersson (undisclosed) and Filip Chytil (concussion) on the shelf.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Goal streak at three games

Johnston scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

Johnston has lit the lamp in three straight games and has a total of 10 goals and three assists over 13 contests in March. The 21-year-old center also matched his career high of 65 points with his tally Thursday, and he's got 10 games to set a new personal best. He's at 28 goals, 37 assists, 186 shots on net and a plus-6 rating over 72 appearances in 2024-25 as he continues to be reliable anywhere in the lineup.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Produces two more helpers

Thomas notched two assists and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Predators.

Thomas set up both of Dylan Holloway's tallies in the contest. This was Thomas' third straight multi-point effort, and the star center is up to three goals and 15 helpers over 14 contests in March. For the season, he's earned 19 goals, 47 assists, 130 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating across 62 outings. He's on track to reach the 70-point mark for the third time in four years.

  • Nazem Kadri C | COL

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Two goals in loss to Dallas

Kadri scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Stars.

Kadri bagged the only two goals the Flames could muster against Casey DeSmith, but this two-goal performance extended his impressive scoring stretch. This was the fifth straight game in which Kadri found the back of the net, and the 34-year-old veteran is up to 30 goals on the season, as well as 56 points. This 30-goal haul represents the third-best mark of his career, and he has a realistic shot at reaching a new career-high mark in goals once the regular season ends.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Two-point effort in win

Duchene finished with a goal and an assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

Duchene has been remarkably consistent for the Stars, and he's finding ways to make an impact even when he's not scoring. The 34-year-old veteran, who's having an excellent season and has already notched the second-best point tally of his 16-year career, has cracked the scoresheet in all but three games since the beginning of March, tallying 13 points (four goals, nine helpers) in 13 games over that span.

  • Stars' Mikael Granlund: Nets goal vs. Calgary

Granlund scored a goal with his lone shot on target and added a helper in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

Granlund snapped a four-game goal drought with his tally, and the 33-year-old continues to try and find his footing in Dallas. Even though he hasn't been the most consistent player on a game-to-game basis, he has notched nine points (four goals, five assists) over 13 contests in March. That's not a low figure, but the Stars could use more out of the veteran. He has racked up 15 points in 21 games since being acquired from the Sharks in February.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Ends scoring drought Thursday

Svechkov scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Blues.

Svechkov found the back of the net for the first time since Jan. 23, when he notched a goal in a 6-5 win over the Sharks, and that might allow him to rediscover his best form. Svechkov's lack of production since the 4 Nations break has been disappointing, as he's notched only five points (one goal, four assists) in his last 17 outings.

  • Dylan Holloway LW | STL

Blues' Dylan Holloway: Point streak reaches nine games

Holloway scored two goals on three shots in Thursday's 3-2 win over Nashville.

Holloway has been playing at a strong level in recent weeks, and a strong argument could be made to say he's been the Blues' best player over the team's past 10 games. In fact, he's riding a nine-game point streak that includes five multi-point performances over that span. The 23-year-old center is capping off what has been a career-best season in 2024-25 with 15 points (six goals, nine helpers) over that nine-game stretch.

  • Lars Eller C | OTT

Capitals' Lars Eller: Chips in with assist

Eller logged an assist in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.

Eller has three assists over 13 outings in March. The 35-year-old remains in a bottom-six role, and while he's on the third line, Nic Dowd often gets more ice time as a shutdown center. Eller has produced 22 points, 89 shots on net, 46 hits, 32 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 70 appearances between the Capitals and Penguins this season.

  • Nic Dowd C | LV

Capitals' Nic Dowd: Adds helper in loss

Dowd notched an assist in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.

Dowd had gone six games without a point, adding four shots on net and 10 hits in that span. He doesn't have to score to be valuable on the ice as a defensive center, but he's still had a decent year for a player in his role. He's at 12 goals, 24 points, 74 shots on net, 116 hits, 69 blocked shots, 42 PIM and a plus-10 rating over a career-high 72 appearances. He's one goal and one point shy of matching his personal-best numbers from 2022-23 in each category.
