  • Aatu Raty C | VAN

    Canucks' Aatu Raty: Recalled Sunday

Raty was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Sunday, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports.

Raty figures to give the Canucks some forward depth after both Elias Pettersson (undisclosed) and Nils Hoglander (undisclosed) left Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers with injuries. The 22-year-old Raty appeared in 21 games with Vancouver earlier this year, logging two goals and four points.

  • Ducks' Nikita Nesterenko: Set to return Sunday

Nesterenko (undisclosed) is expected to play against Carolina on Sunday, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

After missing Thursday's 4-1 win over Nashville, Nesterenko fully participated in Saturday's practice. He has registered three goals, one assist, 24 hits and nine shots on net in 10 NHL appearances this season. Due to Nesterenko's return, Oliver Kylington will probably be a healthy scratch versus the Hurricanes.

  • Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Scores late in loss

Jankowski scored a goal in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Kings.

Jankowski is up to five goals over six outings with the Hurricanes, which has already surpassed the four tallies he had in 41 games with the Predators to begin the season. The 30-year-old is up to a total of 14 points, 52 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 47 appearances. While his recent offense may be tempting for fantasy managers, Jankowski has featured in a bottom-six role since he was traded to Carolina, so the bottom could drop out at any time.

  • Kings' Samuel Helenius: First helper since recall

Helenius logged an assist and two hits in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Hurricanes.

Helenius set up an Adrian Kempe tally at 3:03 of the first period. The assist was Helenius' first point in nine games since he was recalled from AHL Ontario on March 5. The good news is he's sticking in the lineup, but only in a fourth-line role that has rarely led to offense or even significant ice time. Helenius has four points, 20 shots on net, 111 hits, 21 PIM and a minus-1 rating across 36 NHL appearances this season.

  • Kings' Anze Kopitar: One of each in first period

Kopitar scored a power-play goal, dished an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Hurricanes.

Kopitar snapped a three-game slump with his second multi-point effort of March. Both of his points came in the first period as the Kings had a 3-0 lead by the intermission, which was already enough for the win. The center has four goals and five assists over his last 11 outings. For the season, the 37-year-old is up to 17 goals, 38 helpers, 18 power-play points, 85 shots on net, 62 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 68 appearances.

  • Zack Bolduc C | MON

Blues' Zachary Bolduc: Scores goal in elevated role

Bolduc scored a goal in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Bolduc got the call to move up to the top line when Pavel Buchnevich (illness) was scratched Saturday. The 22-year-old Bolduc is worthy of an increased role after entering Saturday's contest with five goals and two assists over his previous 10 games. For the season, he's up to 14 goals, 28 points, 90 shots on net, a plus-15 rating and 88 hits across 61 appearances. His steady scoring lately makes him an option for fantasy managers seeking a boost in points and hits.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Opens scoring in second period

Thomas scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Thomas snapped a seven-game goal drought, breaking a 0-0 tie at 15:13 of the second period. The 25-year-old still had five helpers during that goal drought, so he's hardly been struggling for offense. Overall, he's up to 18 goals, 57 points, 128 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating over 59 outings in a top-line role this season.

  • Wild's Brendan Gaunce: Offers helper in Saturday's win

Gaunce logged an assist and three hits in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Sabres.

The helper was Gaunce's first point in 10 NHL appearances this season. The 30-year-old forward set up a Justin Brazeau tally in the second period that stood as the game-winner for the Wild. Gaunce has added just nine shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-3 rating with the big club this season. He continues to get ice time while the team contends with numerous injuries to forwards, but his limited role on the fourth line leads to minimal fantasy value.

  • Yakov Trenin C | MIN

Wild's Yakov Trenin: Collects helper in win

Trenin logged an assist and three hits in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Sabres.

Trenin snapped an 11-game point drought when he set up a Marco Rossi tally in the second period. The 28-year-old Trenin has been a bottom-six fixture in the Wild's lineup, offering more physical play than offense. He's at six goals, eight assists, 66 shots on net, 192 hits and a plus-2 rating over 64 appearances this season.

  • Wild's Frederick Gaudreau: Puts away empty-netter

Gaudreau scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Sabres.

Gaudreau's tally prevented any late comeback effort from the Sabres. The 31-year-old center has four goals and two assists over 10 contests in March while regularly playing on the second line. He's at 16 goals, 32 points, 96 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 36 hits and a plus-5 rating over 70 appearances. A late-season scoring binge could help him get to the 20-goal mark for the first time in his career, and a 40-point campaign, while unlikely, isn't out of the question either.
