  • Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Offers pair of helpers

O'Reilly logged two assists and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

O'Reilly set up the first and last goals of Filip Forsberg's hat trick, which bookended the scoring in this game. Over his last 10 contests, O'Reilly has found a groove with four goals and nine assists while continuing to play in a top-line role. He's now at 26 points, 51 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 32 games this season.

  • Oskar Back C | DAL

Stars' Oskar Back: Nets go-ahead goal

Back scored a goal and added four PIM in Monday's 4-1 win over the Kings.

Back ended a seven-game point drought with the tally, which put the Stars ahead 2-1 in the third period. His goal stood as the game-winner, the first GWG of his career. On the year, the 25-year-old defensive forward has five points, 14 shots on net, 12 blocked shots, 11 hits and a plus-3 rating over 24 appearances. He has limited appeal in fantasy since he is in a fourth-line role with little offense to show for it.

  • Panthers' Anton Lundell: Tallies in Monday's win

Lundell scored a goal, added two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-2 win over the Lightning.

Lundell continues to play well in December, earning four goals and three assists over eight games this month. The first-line center is up to 10 goals, 26 points, 71 shots on net, 37 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 32 appearances. He's on pace to reach the 20-goal and 50-point marks for the first time in his career, and he's trending toward personal bests in most major fantasy categories.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

    Islanders' Bo Horvat: Remains sidelined

Horvat (lower body) will not be in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Detroit.

Horvat will miss his second straight game after sustaining a lower-body injury Thursday against the Ducks. Mathew Barzal's (undisclosed) status for Tuesday's matchup is up in the air, so the Islanders will have some shuffling to do up the middle if they end up being without their two most dynamic forwards against the Red Wings. Horvat's next opportunity to suit up will be in the first half of a back-to-back against the Canucks on Friday.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Two points in win Monday

Duchene recorded a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-1 win over the Kings.

Duchene returned to the lineup Dec. 7 following a 24-game absence due to an upper-body injury, and this was his first time on the scoresheet since Oct. 14. The 34-year-old veteran was one of the best players for the Stars last season, and he should find ample opportunities to produce as he works his way back into top form. Right now, though, his upside won't be very high in a bottom-six role in the lineup.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Two points in win over LAK

Johnston recorded a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-1 win over the Kings.

Johnston assisted on Matt Duchene's goal in the latter stages of the second period, and he'd later close out the scoring with an empty-netter with 32 seconds left in the game. Johnston has been effective both as a scorer and playmaker for the Stars this season. He's up to 17 goals and 22 assists thus far, ranking third on the team in points behind Mikko Rantanen (44) and Jason Robertson (40).

  • Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Questionable Tuesday

Barzal (undisclosed) will be a game-time call versus the Red Wings on Tuesday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Barzal is expected to take the ice for warmups before the team makes a decision on his availability. The 28-year-old center is on a four-game point streak during which he has registered one goal, three assists and six shots. If Barzal can't play, Jonathan Drouin is expected to shift to center while Maxim Tsyplakov moves into a first-line role.

  • Wild's Vinnie Hinostroza: Upgraded to day-to-day

Hinostroza (lower body) won't be in the lineup against Washington on Tuesday but is considered day-to-day, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.

It's a step in the right direction for Hinostroza, even if he won't be in action for Tuesday's tilt. Prior to his absence, the winger was mired in a six-game pointless streak during which he managed seven shots, four hits and one block while averaging 9:41 of ice time. Once given the all-clear, Hinostroza figures to slot into a bottom-six role, though he'll need to be activated off injured reserve first.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Point streak up to seven

Vilardi recorded an assist and put two shots on net in Monday's 3-2 loss to Ottawa.

Vilardi's secondary helper on Logan Stanley's goal late in the second period helped the prior raise his point streak to seven games. With the apple, Vilardi is up to 14 assists, 30 points and 70 shots on net across 32 games this season. Over half of the 26-year-old forward's points have been in his last 13 games, where he has 10 goals and six assists during that time. He's shaken off his slow start offensively and is on pace for a career year in points to surpass the 61 he had in 71 regular-season games a year ago. Vilardi's line assignment alongside Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele should continue to cultivate success in fantasy.

  • Lightning's Brayden Point: Two more points Monday

Point collected two assists in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Panthers.

The 29-year-old center appears to be back in form after a rough start to the season, and then a seven-game absence due to an undisclosed injury. Point was blanked in his return Dec. 8 against the Leafs, but since then, he's gotten onto the scoresheet in four straight games, racking up two goals and five helpers during his longest point streak so far in 2025-26.
