  • Senators' Adam Gaudette: Offense goes quiet

Gaudette's point drought reached 10 games in Monday's 2-1 win over the Red Wings.

Gaudette was a pleasant surprise for the Senators early in the campaign, but with just five points over 27 games since the start of January, the magic has run out. He's currently in a fourth-line role and will likely stay there since the Senators don't have any extra healthy forwards on the roster. The 28-year-old is at 16 goals, six assists, 78 shots on net, 54 hits and a plus-12 rating over 62 appearances.

  • Josh Norris C | BUF

Sabres' Josh Norris: Nabs first helper with new team

Norris logged an assist in Monday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.

Norris needed just two games to get onto the scoresheet in his Sabres tenure. The 25-year-old center set up Tage Thompson for a third-period goal, which was the game-winner. Over 55 appearances between Buffalo and Ottawa, Norris has logged 34 points, 95 shots on net, 134 hits and a minus-5 rating. If he stays on the Sabres' top line, he'll carry a little more fantasy value than he did toward the end of his time with the Senators.

  • Jets' Rasmus Kupari: Cleared to return

Kupari (concussion) has received medial clearance to play but won't be in the lineup against the Rangers on Tuesday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Morgan Barron will remain in the lineup to give him a longer look as the fourth-line center. Kupari has contributed five goals, eight points, 52 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and 77 hits across 58 appearances this season. He missed three games while going through concussion protocol.

  • Tommy Novak C | PIT

Penguins' Thomas Novak: Unavailable against Knights

Novak (lower body) won't be an option versus Vegas on Tuesday but is considered day-to-day, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.

Novak was just two games into his Pittsburgh stint after coming over from Nashville at the trade deadline when he sustained his lower-body injury. With Novak out of the lineup, it looks like fellow deadline addition Connor Dewar will get a look at a second-line role with Evgeni Malkin while Danton Heinen could find himself back on the No. 2 power-play unit.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Scores winner for new club

Cozens scored the game-winning goal on the power play in Monday's 2-1 victory over the Red Wings.

With just under five minutes left in the third period, the 24-year-old completed a tic-tac-toe passing play with Jake Sanderson and Brady Tkachuk to score his first goal as a Senator and snap a 1-1 tie. Acquired from the Sabres at the trade deadline, Cozens has two points in two games for his new squad and has been getting regular shifts on the first power-play unit. At least for the final weeks of the campaign, he may be able to reclaim the form that saw him rack up 31 goals and 68 points in 81 contests for Buffalo in 2022-23.

  • Sabres' Tage Thompson: Lights lamp twice in win

Thompson scored two goals, including the game-winner, in Monday's 3-2 victory over the Oilers.

The 27-year-old opened and closed the book on the night's offense, banging home the rebound on his own shot in the first period and then out-waiting Stuart Skinner as he drifted across the front of the net in the third. Thompson has tickled twine five times in the last five games, extending a hot streak that has seen him light the lamp an impressive 14 times in his last 17 appearances.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Point streak at 15 games

Draisaitl notched two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.

Both points came in the second period, as the Oilers' offense otherwise failed to solve Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. Draisaitl extended his point streak to 15 games in the process, a stretch in which the All-Star center has amassed 11 goals and 23 points. He's now just three points shy of reaching 100 for the fourth straight campaign, and the sixth time in his career.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Makes plays on PK

Zibanejad recorded two shorthanded assists, four shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Zibanejad helped out on tallies by Braden Schneider and Chris Kreider, separated by just 42 seconds, in the second period. With a goal and four assists over five outings in March, Zibanejad continues to rally on offense to help get his scoring numbers closer to normal. Overall, he has 47 points, 144 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a minus-21 rating through 64 contests, giving him an outside chance of getting to the 60-point mark by the end of the campaign.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Puts up pair of helpers

Trocheck logged two assists, including one while shorthanded, as well as two shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Trocheck has four helpers over his last five contests, but he's gone 10 games without a goal. In that longer stretch, he's stayed productive with seven assists, 27 shots and 26 hits. The 31-year-old center remains a strong player in terms of category coverage in fantasy, earning 17 goals, 42 points (10 on the power play, two shorthanded), 165 shots, 181 hits, 67 blocked shots and 40 PIM through 64 outings.

  • Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Secures helper in win

Roslovic notched an assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Jets.

Roslovic has two helpers over eight games since the end of the 4 Nations Face-Off. The 28-year-old forward is currently playing on the fourth line, but he has moved all over the lineup and could get another chance at a top-line spot now that Mikko Rantanen is in Dallas. Roslovic has reached the 30-point mark for the fifth year in a row with 19 goals, 11 assists, 110 shots on net and a minus-8 rating across 63 appearances.
