  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Nets goal in shootout loss

Scheifele scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Flyers.

Scheifele scored for the third time in four games, and he's taken 10 shots in that span. His tally was all the Jets could muster against Ivan Fedotov in a surprisingly low-scoring game. The 31-year-old Scheifele has 34 goals, 67 points, 134 shots on net, 57 hits, 46 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 61 appearances this season in a top-line role.

  • Blue Jackets' Zach Aston-Reese: Puts up assist

Aston-Reese notched an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-3 Stadium Series win over the Red Wings.

Aston-Reese has three helpers over his last five games, which is great compared to the 22-game point drought that preceded this stretch. The 30-year-old forward is three points shy of the career-best 17 he had in 2018-19 with the Penguins. He's earned four goals, 10 assists, 75 shots on net, 137 hits and 42 blocked shots while filling a bottom-six role over 59 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Dealing with lower-body injury

Celebrini (lower body) will be a game-time decision for Monday's matchup against Toronto, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Celebrini didn't participate in Sunday's practice after being injured in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Ottawa. The 18-year-old rookie has five goals and seven assists in his last 12 outings. He has accounted for 18 goals, 44 points and 168 shots on net across 49 appearances this season. If Celebrini can't play versus the Maple Leafs on Monday, Carl Grundstrom or Walker Duehr could be in the lineup.

  • Blue Jackets' Mathieu Olivier: Tallies again Saturday

Olivier scored a goal on two shots, added five hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-3 Stadium Series win over the Red Wings.

Olivier has two goals and an assist during his three-game point streak. The 28-year-old pending unrestricted free agent is reportedly in negotiations to stay with the Blue Jackets, though if those talks sour, he could be a trade candidate. The physical winger is at 12 goals, nine assists, 76 shots on net, 228 hits, 99 PIM and 66 blocked shots over 60 appearances, making this a career year nearly across the board for him.

  • Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Puts away empty-netter

Fantilli scored an empty-net goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-3 Stadium Series win over the Red Wings.

Fantilli's point streak is up to five games (three goals, three assists) following his late tally to secure the win in front of the NHL's second-largest crowd of all time (94,751). The 20-year-old center continues to fill in admirably on the top line in place of Sean Monahan (wrist). Fantilli is up to 37 points across 60 outings, and he's earned 22 of those points across 22 appearances since the start of January as he takes a big step forward in his second season.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Fills empty cage

Coyle scored a shorthanded empty-net goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.

Coyle snapped his six-game point drought with a critical insurance goal -- the Penguins scored once after the empty-netter but weren't able to pull even. This was Coyle's 14th goal of the season, two of which have been game-winners. The forward has added seven assists, 89 shots on net, 89 hits, 48 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating through 61 appearances.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Tallies on power play in loss

Rakell scored a power-play goal on five shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

Rakell had gone five games without a goal, and he's earned just two points over five outings since his return from the 4 Nations Face-Off with Team Sweden. The 31-year-old is having one of the best years of his career, but he's lost a bit of momentum recently. For the season, he's at 26 goals, 50 points, 160 shots on net, 98 hits, 66 blocked shots and a minus-22 rating over 61 appearances.

  • Maple Leafs' Steven Lorentz: Unavailable Sunday

Lorentz (undisclosed) won't play against the Penguins on Sunday, per David Alter of The Hockey News.

Lorentz will sit out at least one game after missing Saturday's practice. He has accounted for five goals, 14 points, 52 shots on net, 40 blocked shots and 148 hits in 59 appearances this season. Lorentz's next chance to play comes versus San Jose on Monday.

  • Connor Dewar C | PIT

Maple Leafs' Connor Dewar: Activated from IR

Dewar (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday.

The Maple Leafs placed Chris Tanev (upper body) on the IR list in a corresponding move. Dewar will be available to return to the lineup against Pittsburgh on Sunday after missing the last 11 games. He has produced three assists, 27 shots on goal, 18 blocked shots and 78 hits across 29 appearances this season.

  • Boone Jenner C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Boone Jenner: Two helpers against Wings

Jenner picked up two assists in Saturday's 5-3 win over Detroit.

The veteran center has made an immediate impact since returning from a shoulder injury that cost him the first 56 games of the season. In four appearances since play resumed following the 4 Nations Face-Off, Jenner has racked up seven helpers while adding nine shots on net, seven hits, six blocked shots and a plus-7 rating. He's also won 33 of 64 faceoffs (51.5 percent).
