Ross Colton C | COL
Avalanche's Ross Colton: Ends dry spell with assist
Colton notched an assist and two hits in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Devils.
Colton entered Wednesday on a 14-game point drought, during which he had 22 shots on net, 38 hits and a minus-6 rating. The 28-year-old got on the scoresheet with a helper on Casey Mittelstadt's third-period tally. Colton is not a notable scorer, but he's had it rough this year with 13 goals and four assists through 43 outings, well behind his 40-point showing in the 2023-24 regular season. The forward has added 91 shots on net, 102 hits and a minus-8 rating in 2024-25.

Martin Necas C | COL
Avalanche's Martin Necas: Distributes three helpers in win
Necas logged three assists, two shots on goal and two hits in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Devils.
Necas bounced back from consecutive games off the scoresheet, lending a helper on each of the Avalanche's first three goals. Two of those assists were on Nathan MacKinnon power-play tallies. With 12 points over 11 outings since he was traded to the Avalanche, Necas has had no trouble settling in on the top line. He's up to 67 points, 145 shots on net, 51 hits and a plus-5 rating through 60 appearances this season, putting him four points shy of matching his career high from 2022-23.

Casey Mittelstadt C | BOS
Avalanche's Casey Mittelstadt: Reaches 10-goal mark
Mittelstadt scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Devils.
Mittelstadt ended a 12-game goal drought, and he also got on the scoresheet for the first time in six contests. His 10th goal of the season came late in the third period as the Avalanche pulled away with the lead. The 26-year-old center has 33 points, 78 shots on net and a minus-12 rating across 60 appearances this season, though just nine of those points have come since the start of January. Despite his drop in offense, Mittelstadt continues to center the second line.

Nathan MacKinnon C | COL
Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Rattles off three-point effort
MacKinnon scored twice on the power play, dished an assist and fired six shots on goal in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Devils.
MacKinnon's pair of goals came in the third period, with the first of his tallies being the game-winner. He had been held off the scoresheet in the previous two contests, which has occurred only one other time this season for the NHL's points leader. He's up to 23 goals, 90 points (28 on the power play), 244 shots on net and a plus-19 rating over 60 appearances. MacKinnon is likely to fall short of last season's 51-goal, 140-point campaign, but he should have no trouble crossing the century mark for the third year in a row.

Mathew Barzal C | NYI
Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Moves to LTIR
Barzal (kneecap) was transferred to long-term injured reserve Wednesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
This is simply a procedural move for the Islanders, as they needed to free up cap space to activate Noah Dobson (lower body) from long-term injured reserve. It doesn't impact Barzal's timeline -- he's still expected to be out until mid-to-late March after undergoing a minor procedure on his kneecap. He has already missed six games and will be out well past the requisite totals of 10 contests and 24 days required for LTIR.

Matt Rempe C | NYR
Rangers' Matt Rempe: Tips in goal
Rempe scored a goal, added six hits and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Islanders.
Rempe ended an eight-game point drought with the tally, which was a tip-in of Jonny Brodzinski's shot. That denied Brodzinski a hat trick, but it was still a rare massive game for the Rangers' fourth line. Rempe is up to four points, 16 shots on net, 67 hits, 41 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 23 appearances this season. He appears set to stay in the lineup as long as he can avoid crossing the line with his ultra-physical playing style.

Zemgus Girgensons C | TB
Lightning's Zemgus Girgensons: Pockets helper in win
Girgensons registered an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Oilers.
Girgensons has two points over his last three games, which follows a stretch of 33 contests where he failed to register a point. This is likely simple course correction for the 31-year-old forward, who has spent much of the campaign in a bottom-six role as a physical and defensive player. He's now at four points, 62 shots on net, 112 hits and 31 PIM across 57 appearances. He was listed on the second line in the Lightning's 11-forward, seven-defensemen lineup Tuesday, but there's no guarantee he sticks in that spot in the long run.

Mikey Eyssimont C | BOS
Lightning's Michael Eyssimont: Nets equalizer Tuesday
Eyssimont scored a goal on six shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Oilers.
Eyssimont has a goal and two assists during a three-game point streak. His six shots Tuesday represented a season high. He's trending upward, but as long as he remains on the fourth line, the 28-year-old has a low ceiling. He's at 10 points, 95 shots, 77 hits, 42 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 53 appearances.

Morgan Geekie C | BOS
Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Tallies on power play Tuesday
Geekie scored a power-play goal on five shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs.
Geekie's potted a goal in four of his last five games, a feat he's achieved on two separate occasions since the start of 2025. This was his first power-play contribution since Jan. 11 versus the Panthers. The 26-year-old is up to a career-high 19 goals while adding 12 assists, 112 shots on net, 82 hits and a plus-4 rating through 54 appearances. He's cemented himself in the Bruins' top six, giving him decent fantasy value as a versatile and physical forward.

Isac Lundestrom C | CLB
Ducks' Isac Lundestrom: Rare power-play helper in loss
Lundestrom logged a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.
Lundestrom was on the ice late in a power play and helped out on Leo Carlsson's tally in the second period. The assist ended a six-game slump for Lundestrom, and it was his first power-play point of the season. He shouldn't be counted on for offense -- the 25-year-old fills a role as a defensive forward in the bottom six. He's at 10 points, 44 shots on net, 48 blocked shots, 34 hits and a minus-2 rating across 54 outings in 2024-25.
