  • Bruins' Trent Frederic: Suffers injury Tuesday

Frederic (undisclosed) was hurt in Tuesday's game versus the Maple Leafs, but interim head coach Joe Sacco did not have an update on the forward's status after the contest, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.

Frederic left the game in the second period after just 5:18 of ice time. The 27-year-old forward will be evaluated further Wednesday, leaving his status for Thursday's game against the Islanders in doubt. Justin Brazeau or Riley Tufte could enter the lineup if Frederic is forced to miss time.

  • Predators' Mark Jankowski: Unavailable Tuesday

Jankowski (upper body) won't play against Florida on Tuesday, Nick Kieser of 102.5 ESPN Nashville reports.

Jankowski will miss at least one game after being injured in Sunday's 5-0 loss to New Jersey. He has registered three goals, eight points, 38 shots on net, 23 hits and 19 blocked shots through 39 appearances this season. Kieffer Bellows will replace Jankowski in Tuesday's lineup.

  • Kirby Dach C | MON

Canadiens' Kirby Dach: Not playing Tuesday

Dach (lower body) won't play against Carolina on Tuesday, Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette reports.

Dach will sit out at least one game after missing Monday's practice. He has generated 10 goals, 22 points, 84 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and 100 hits through 57 games this season. Owen Beck will replace Dach in Tuesday's lineup.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Back in goal column

Scheifele scored a goal, added four hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 2-1 overtime win over the Sharks.

Scheifele matched his second-longest goal drought of the season (four games), but he was able to strike late to end the slump. The center dropped a pass for Nikolaj Ehlers, whose shot was denied, but the rebound was there for Scheifele to score the game-winner 1:33 into overtime. With 32 goals and 33 assists over 58 appearances, the 31-year-old center has been one of the most consistent players in the league this season. He's rounded out his production with 125 shots on net, 51 hits, 46 blocked shots, 41 PIM and a plus-7 rating, and he had five helpers during his recent goal drought to maintain a strong level of play.

  • Josh Norris C | BUF

    Senators' Josh Norris: Practices Tuesday

Norris (upper body) participated in Tuesday's practice and might return to the lineup versus Winnipeg on Wednesday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.

Ottawa will evaluate Norris further Wednesday morning before determining his availability. Still, he appears close to being an option after missing the last five games. Norris has produced 19 goals, 31 points, 92 shots on net, 43 blocked shots and 126 hits in 50 appearances this season. Once healthy, he will occupy a top-six role and see time on the power play.

  • Connor Dewar C | PIT

Maple Leafs' Connor Dewar: Still sidelined versus Bruins

Dewar (upper body) will remain on the shelf for Tuesday's tilt with Boston, Mark Masters of TSN reports.

Dewar will miss his 10th straight game due to his lingering upper-body issue. With the Leafs currently in the midst of a four-game road trip, it seems unlikely the 25-year-old center will return in the short term, so fantasy players can likely expect him to also be unavailable versus the Rangers and Penguins on Friday and Sunday, respectively -- though he hasn't been officially ruled out.

  • Blues' Alexandre Texier: Remains unavailable

Texier (illness) will not be in the lineup versus the Kraken on Tuesday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Texier will be out of action for his fifth straight game due to his lingering illness, which began prior to the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off. Still, the 25-year-old natural center was on the ice for Tuesday's game-day skate, which could be an indication he is nearing a return. Even when healthy, Texier may have to settle for a spot in the press box periodically as a healthy scratch.

  • Andrew Copp C | DET

Red Wings' Andrew Copp: Season officially over

Copp will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign after undergoing surgery Tuesday to repair a torn pectoral tendon.

Copp's season will end with the veteran having recorded 23 points in 56 games, missing the 30-point threshold for the first time since 2019-20 when he was with the Jets. The Wings announced a 4-6 month recovery timeline for the Michigan native, which should allow him to be ready for the start of the 2025-26 season.

  • Predators' Mark Jankowski: Absent from practice

Jankowski missed Tuesday's game-day skate ahead of a matchup with the Panthers due to an undisclosed injury, Emma Lingan of The Hockey News reports.

Jankowski was just two games back from an extended absence with an upper-body injury, and it's not immediately clear if this latest problem is related. If the 30-year-old forward can't play against Florida, Kieffer Bellows is expected to move into Jankowski's third-line role.

  • Jakub Lauko C | BOS

Wild's Jakub Lauko: Set to return Tuesday

Lauko (lower body) was activated off injured reserve Tuesday.

Lauko has missed the last three games after landing on injured reserve Jan. 5. The 24-year-old is set to replace Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body), who was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, in the lineup against Detroit. Lauko projects to slot in on the third line with Frederick Gaudreau and Liam Ohgren.
