  • Lightning's Max Crozier: Expected back Monday

Crozier (illness) is set to return to the lineup against the Mammoth on Monday, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Crozier's potential return is good news for the Lightning's blue line, which has been very banged up, including Erik Cernak (undisclosed), who was deemed a game-time call for the clash with Utah. With Crozier in action, Simon Lundmark could be relegated to a spot in the press box as a healthy scratch.

  • Erik Cernak D | TB

Lightning's Erik Cernak: Considered game-time decision

Cernak (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Monday's matchup against Utah, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Cernak exited Saturday's game against the Blue Jackets due to his upper-body injury, and he'll be evaluated in the hours leading up to Monday's puck drop before the Lightning determine his status. If Cernak is unable to play, Max Crozier will likely enter the lineup.

  • Jets' Isaak Phillips: Brought up from minors

Phillips was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Monday.

Phillips hasn't picked up a point in two NHL appearances this season while posting three shots on goal, one blocked shot and one hit. He will provide the Jets with a spare blueliner during the team's upcoming four-game road trip, which begins against New Jersey on Tuesday.

  • Nick Jensen D | OTT

Senators' Nick Jensen: Pots goal Sunday

Jensen scored a goal in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Golden Knights.

Jensen closed out the scoring for the Senators with a wrister at the 3:56 mark of the third period. That was just his fourth goal of the campaign. The 35-year-old veteran isn't much of a fantasy contributor when it comes to goals or assists, but it's worth noting that he has two goals and two helpers in his last six games while notching all but one of his four goals since the beginning of January. It might not be enough to be an option in standard formats, but he could be worth a look as a waiver pickup in deeper leagues.

  • Golden Knights' Rasmus Andersson: Scores in loss to Ottawa

Andersson scored a goal in Sunday's 7-1 loss to the Senators.

Andersson played a team-high 30 shifts and produced all the offense the Golden Knights could muster with a wrister midway through the third period. However, by that time, Vegas was already losing 7-0, so the goal was only to avoid the shutout. Andersson was acquired by the Golden Knights earlier this month in a trade with the Flames and has recorded points in his first two outings with his new team, tallying one goal, one assist, four shots on goal, five blocked shots and one hit in that span.

  • Flames' Hunter Brzustewicz: Scores first NHL goal

Brzustewicz scored a goal in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.

Brzustewicz's first NHL goal gave the Flames a 2-0 lead at 7:56 of the first period. The 21-year-old defenseman has been scratched for four of the Flames' 12 contests in January, which is likely part of the development curve for him. He'll compete with Brayden Pachal and Joel Hanley for third-pairing minutes until Zayne Parekh (upper body) returns from a conditioning assignment at AHL Calgary.

  • Panthers' Gustav Forsling: Adds two helpers in win

Forsling notched two assists and a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Forsling helped out on goals by Mackie Samoskevich and Carter Verhaeghe in the third period as the Panthers built up their lead. Over 27 games since the start of December, Forsling has gotten on the scoresheet in just five contests, earning a goal, six assists and a minus-6 rating in that span. The shutdown defenseman is at two goals, 17 assists, 61 shots on net, 56 blocked shots, 37 hits, 24 PIM and a plus-1 rating through 51 outings overall. It's been a rough campaign for the Panthers, and it's showing up in Forsling's numbers, though he should help keep things stable on the back end.

  • Panthers' Tobias Bjornfot: Unlikely source of offense Sunday

Bjornfot scored twice in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Prior to Sunday, Bjornfot had just one goal in the first 138 regular-season games of his NHL career. He hadn't earned a point since the 2022-23 campaign with the Kings, when he had one assist over 10 outings. The defenseman provided an unlikely spark, scoring the opening and closing goals of the Panthers' win. He's added seven shots on net, four hits, five blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over five contests this season. Bjornfot is likely to stick in the lineup as a third-pairing defenseman while Seth Jones (upper body) and Dmitry Kulikov (upper body) are out, though Donovan Sebrango could push him for playing time.

  • Penguins' Jack St. Ivany: Injured in Vancouver

St. Ivany (upper body) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game in Vancouver.

St. Ivany logged one blocked shot in 2:54 of ice time prior to departing the game. The 26-year-old blueliner will have several days to attempt to be ready for the Penguins' next game, which is at home Thursday versus Chicago. Ilya Solovyov and Connor Clifton will be options to play if St. Ivany is forced to miss any upcoming games.

  • Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Status in question for Monday

Zadorov sustained an ankle injury during Saturday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens, and his status for Monday's road game against the Rangers has yet to be determined, Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe reports.

Zadorov was unable to practice Sunday due to his ankle injury. The left-shot blueliner can be considered questionable for Monday's matchup in Manhattan. If Zadorov is unable to suit up against the Rangers, Henri Jokiharju will draw back into the lineup.
