  • Senators' Thomas Chabot: Nabs helper in return

Chabot recorded an assist with two shots on net, a blocked shot and a minus-1 rating in Saturday's 6-4 win over Chicago.

Returning to the lineup after a 12-game absence due to an upper-body injury, Chabot immediately slotted back in on Ottawa's top pairing with Jake Sanderson and handled duties on the point of the second power-play unit. Chabot has only been healthy enough to play 19 games so far in 2025-26, but the 28-year-old defenseman has been productive when available with two goals and 11 points, along with 37 blocked shots, 24 shots on net and a plus-4 rating.

  • Capitals' Martin Fehervary: Strikes for goal in loss

Fehervary scored a goal and blocked three shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Red Wings.

Fehervary brought the Capitals within two goals in the third period, but the comeback effort stalled out. This was his third goal of the campaign, and he's earned three points over nine outings in December. For the season, the defenseman is at 11 points, 39 shots on net, 42 hits, 62 blocked shots, 17 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 35 appearances as a shutdown specialist in a top-four role.

  • Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Scores game-winner Saturday

Mintyukov scored a goal, blocked six shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Mintyukov's tally with 3:29 left in the third period stood as the game-winner. This was his second goal in the last four games, a stretch that has helped him regain control of a bottom-four spot in the lineup after a Dec. 13 healthy scratch. The 22-year-old blueliner is up to four goals, nine points, 51 blocked shots, 18 hits and a plus-1 rating over 32 appearances.

  • Jacob Trouba D | ANA

Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Nets goal in win

Trouba scored a goal, added three hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Trouba has picked up two goals and an assist over his last eight games. The defenseman put the Ducks ahead 2-0 at the 3:00 mark of the first period. Trouba has impressed on offense this year, but his pace has slowed over the last month. He's produced six goals, 16 points, 72 hits, 66 blocked shots, 64 shots on net and a plus-12 rating through 36 appearances in a top-four role.

  • Lightning's Charle-Edouard D'Astous: Two apples keep doctor away

D'Astous picked up two assists in a 6-4 win over Carolina on Saturday.

D'Astous has been skating alongside Ryan McDonagh on the second pairing, and he has 11 points, including eight assists, in 28 games this season. D'Astous won't contribute much in secondary categories, but he's having a great season as an undrafted 27-year-old who made his NHL debut this campaign.

  • Golden Knights' Kaedan Korczak: Tallies in loss

Korczak scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Flames.

Korczak has a goal and two assists over his last five outings. The defenseman is getting more ice time in the absence of Shea Theodore (upper body), though that doesn't include a power-play role yet. Korczak is now at three goals, six points, 28 shots, 52 hits, 53 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 33 appearances this season. He's on track for a career year after putting up 10 points in 40 outings a season ago.

  • Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Crosses 200-assist mark in career

Weegar provided three assists, three hits, three blocked shots, two shots on net and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Golden Knights.

Weegar's offense has been more lively lately, as he's earned a goal and five helpers over his last six games. His effort Saturday included his 200th career assist, which he earned on a Mikael Backlund goal in the second period that ended up being the game-winner. Overall, Weegar is still digging out from a bad start -- he's at 11 points, 85 shots on net, 92 hits, 77 blocks, 35 PIM and a minus-19 rating through 36 appearances.

  • Lightning's Ryan McDonagh: Goal scorer's goal for defender

McDonagh had a goal and an assist Saturday in a 6-4 win over the Hurricanes.

McDonagh made a nifty move early in the third period, breaking through two defenders and slipping the puck between Pyotr Kochetkov's pads to make it 4-4. It was a goal scorer's goal. The points are McDonagh's first after missing five weeks due to injury. He's going to eat a lot of ice time with Victor Hedman (elbow) out until February, so scoop him off the wire.

  • Kraken's Ryan Lindgren: First goal of season secures win

Lindgren scored a goal, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sharks.

Lindgren tallied at 4:27 of the third period, and that goal was the game-winner. The 27-year-old defenseman has had little success on offense this year, as his shutdown playing style mixed with the Kraken's poor team-wide scoring has left little room for him to contribute. He's now at five points, 25 shots on net, 18 hits, 57 blocked shots, 39 PIM and an even plus-minus rating across 33 appearances.

  • Ryker Evans D | SEA

Kraken's Ryker Evans: Finds twine from distance

Evans scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sharks.

Evans tallied a long-range goal in the third period, answering Collin Graf's go-ahead tally just 1:19 earlier. With a point in each of the last two games, Evans is starting to make more of an impact on offense. He's at three goals, eight points, 18 shots on net, 15 blocked shots, 12 hits, 10 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 19 contests. The 24-year-old will get a boost in potential for as long as Brandon Montour (undisclosed) is out, which has opened a spot for Evans on the second power-play unit.
