  • Avalanche's Samuel Girard: Nets first goal of campaign

Girard scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Kraken.

Girard's first goal of the season came at 13:29 of the second period to tie the score at 2-2. He has earned four points and a plus-2 rating over his last three outings in one of his better stretches of the campaign. Overall, the defenseman has six points, 14 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating across 18 appearances in a bottom-four role.

  • Flames' Brayden Pachal: Falls out of favor

Pachal was scratch for the sixth time in eight games for Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Sharks.

Pachal was scratched just once in November, but he's fallen out of favor. Even with Zayne Parekh away with Team Canada and Jake Bean (undisclosed) on injured reserve, Pachal has lost his place in the lineup to rookie Hunter Brzustewicz. Barring additional injuries on the blue line, it's unclear when Pachal may next get to play, and he's unlikely to see more than third-pairing minutes when he does draw back in. He has three helpers, 13 shots on net, 45 hits, 18 blocked shots and 33 PIM over 21 outings this season.

  • Sharks' Vincent Iorio: Pockets assist Tuesday

Iorio logged an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flames.

Iorio played for the second game in a row and the fourth time in 11 contests since the end of his AHL conditioning loan in November. The 23-year-old defenseman is far from secure in the Sharks' lineup, which has seen a number of players rotate in and out on the blue line at times. Iorio has a helper, four shots on net, eight hits, 14 blocks, six PIM and a minus-3 rating over 10 appearances this season.

  • Sharks' John Klingberg: Opens scoring early in win

Klingberg scored a goal and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flames.

Klingberg has five goals and three assists over his last five games. After being the overtime hero Saturday in a 6-5 win over the Penguins, he made a much earlier impact with a goal 1:02 into Tuesday's contest. The defenseman is up to eight goals, 15 points, 36 shots on net, 33 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 25 appearances. Klingberg will cool off, but he hasn't looked this good since the 2021-22 campaign.

  • Wyatt Kaiser D | CHI

Blackhawks' Wyatt Kaiser: Two goals in last three games

Kaiser scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Off a draw, Kaiser got the puck at the blue line. He skated into the slot before scoring with a wrist shot past Joseph Woll's glove. Kaiser has just three goals and four assists in 33 games, but two of those goals have come in the last three games (eight shots). And all three of those goals have come in his last seven games.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Leaves Tuesday's game

Montour (undisclosed) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Avalanche.

Montour sustained the injury during a scrum in the third period. The 31-year-old defenseman can be considered day-to-day until more information is available. If he misses time, Cale Fleury and Josh Mahura are available to enter the lineup for him.

  • Ian Moore D | ANA

Ducks' Ian Moore: Picks up assist Tuesday

Moore notched an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.

Moore had steady playing time in early November, but this was just his fifth appearance in the Ducks' last 13 games. He's earned two assists over that span, but it appears he's battling with Drew Helleson and Pavel Mintyukov for third-pairing minutes. Moore has contributed five points, 18 shots on net, 37 blocks, 12 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 20 appearances, which is decent production despite his limited role.

  • Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Goals in back-to-back games

Ekman-Larsson scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 win over Chicago.

He has a goal in each of his last two games (four shots). Ekman-Larsson has already put up 22 points, including six goals, in 32 contests in 2025-26. He delivered 29 (four goals, 25 assists) in 77 games during the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Wild's Matt Kiersted: First point with new club

Kiersted logged a shorthanded assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Capitals.

Kiersted first point with the Wild came on a Matt Boldy tally in the third period. The 27-year-old Kiersted is filling in as a depth defenseman while the Wild are missing a handful of regulars on the blue line. With no one expected to return Thursday versus the Blue Jackets, per Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News, Kiersted figures to remain in the lineup for at least one more contest. Over two appearances this season, he's racked up four shots on net and a blocked shot.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Fluke goal forces overtime

LaCombe scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins.

LaCombe tied it 3-3 with 3:16 left in the third frame with a shot from below the goal line that went off the mask of Jet Greaves and ultimately forced overtime. LaCombe has a goal in each of his last two games. The left-shot defenseman's ice time is climbing -- he recorded a whopping 31:23 in Tuesday's loss. He has six goals, 14 assists and 77 shots in 34 contests this season.
