Brandon Carlo D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Brandon Carlo: Returning to Toronto
Carlo (lower body) will see a specialist back in Toronto after suffering a setback in his recovery, David Alter of The Hockey News reports Monday.
Carlo has already missed the Maple Leafs' last seven outings and appeared to be trending in the right direction. Instead, the blueliner remains on injured reserve and seems likely to miss additional games. With just two points, both assists, in 18 outings this year, the Colorado native's continued absence is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy managers.

Justin Barron D | NSH
Predators' Justin Barron: Considered day-to-day
Barron is considered day-to-day due to a lower-body injury, Max Herz of 102.5 The Game Nashville reports Monday.
Barron hasn't appeared in any of the Predators' last five games, and he was absent for a morning skate last week. It's unclear whether his absences were related to his injury, as Roman Josi returned to action against the Avalanche on Nov. 22. Across 19 appearances this year, Barron has recorded four assists, 22 blocked shots, 13 hits and six PIM while averaging 15:08 of ice time.

Vincent Desharnais D | SJ
Sharks' Vincent Desharnais: Placed on injured reserve
Desharnais (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Desharnais missed Saturday's game against the Golden Knights due to his upper-body injury, and he's facing a multi-game absence after landing on injured reserve. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return to action, but Pavol Regenda was called up by the Sharks in a corresponding move Monday.

Simon Benoit D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Simon Benoit: Back with team
Benoit (personal) rejoined the Maple Leafs for practice Monday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
Benoit missed Saturday's game against the Penguins while tending to a personal matter, but he should be available for Tuesday's matchup against the Panthers. Across his 23 appearances this season, Benoit has logged two assists, 55 hits, 34 blocked shots and 17 PIM while averaging 18:02 of ice time.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Skipping practice Monday
Raddysh will not be in attendance for Monday's practice for personal reasons, Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley reports.
For now, Raddysh should be considered a game-time decision ahead of Tuesday's contest versus the Islanders. The blueliner has been red hot of late, racking up two goals and 11 helpers in his last eight contests, including four power-play points. The Bolts haven't called up an extra defenseman from the minors yet, which is a good sign that Raddysh will be back with the team to face New York.

Neal Pionk D | WPG
Jets' Neal Pionk: Ruled out for Monday's game
Pionk (lower body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Buffalo, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Pionk continues to deal with a lower-body injury and will be unavailable for a fourth consecutive game Monday. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, but his next opportunity to do so will be Wednesday in Montreal.

Jayden Struble D | MON
Canadiens' Jayden Struble: Still day-to-day
Struble (upper body) remains day-to-day and won't participate in Monday's practice.
Struble sat out Saturday's 7-2 loss to Colorado because of the injury, and his absence from Monday's session doesn't bode well for his availability for Tuesday's game against Ottawa. If Struble is unavailable again, Adam Engstrom will probably stay in the lineup.

Jake Sanderson D | OTT
Senators' Jake Sanderson: Finds twine in loss
Sanderson scored a goal in Sunday's 6-1 loss to the Stars.
Sanderson tied the game at 1-1 in the second period, though the Senators were even for less than a minute before Jason Robertson restored the lead for the Stars. Over his last nine games, Sanderson has two goals and seven assists. For the season, he's at five goals, 20 points, 52 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 25 outings as the Senators' top defenseman.

Ilya Lyubushkin D | DAL
Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Snags assist in return
Lyubushkin recorded an assist and two blocked shots in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Senators.
Lyubushkin logged 19:08 of ice time in his return from a six-game absence due to an undisclosed injury. He likely would have gotten eased in a bit more if Lian Bichsel (lower body) hadn't exited the game early. Lyubushkin has a helper in each of his last three games and is up to five assists, nine shots on net, 23 hits, 35 blocked shots, 17 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 18 appearances this season.

Lian Bichsel D | DAL
Stars' Lian Bichsel: Deemed questionable to return
Bichsel (undisclosed) is questionable to return to Sunday's home matchup against Ottawa, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.
Bichsel needed assistance getting off the ice after being hit into the boards in the second period. The left-shot defenseman logged 9:31 of ice time prior to departing. If he is forced to miss any further time, Vladislav Kolyachonok, who was a healthy scratch for Sunday's game, will likely draw back into the lineup. Dallas begins a brief two-game road trip Tuesday versus the Rangers.
