  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Tallies opening goal

LaCombe scored a goal on five shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Mammoth.

LaCombe has three points over his last five games. The 24-year-old defenseman opened the scoring at 15:52 of the first period. He's yet to really join in on the Ducks' high-scoring fun through the first quarter of the season, posting a modest eight points over 19 outings after having 14 goals and 43 points in 75 appearances a year ago. LaCombe's ice time is at 25:05 per game, and he's added 42 shots on net, 35 blocked shots and 17 hits so far. It appears he's just had some bad luck, but there's enough talent in his game that he should be able to turn things around.

  • Bruins' Henri Jokiharju: Adds late power-play helper

Jokiharju notched a power-play assist in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

Jokiharju was a scratch Saturday versus the Canadiens, but he didn't have to wait long to get back in the lineup, as Charlie McAvoy (upper body) is out of action with no timeline to return. McAvoy's absence will also provide Jokiharju a chance at time on the second power-play unit while Mason Lohrei moves up to the top unit. For the season, Jokiharju has just four assists, 17 shots on net, 12 hits, 18 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 20 appearances, so it's unlikely he'll stand out enough in any area to help fantasy managers.

  • Bowen Byram D | BUF

Sabres' Bowen Byram: Nets goal Monday

Byram scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-1 win over the Oilers.

Byram's point streak is up to four games (two goals, two assists). The defenseman has had two streaks of that length so far this season, though a five-game slump came in between them. The 24-year-old is up to three goals, nine points, 27 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 14 hits and a minus-4 rating through 19 appearances in a top-four role with time on the second power-play unit.

  • Kings' Jacob Moverare: Has chance to play

Moverare posted two hits, two blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 10:19 of ice time in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.

This was Moverare's second appearance of the season. The Kings have been mostly set on defense so far, leaving the 27-year-old with little opportunity to check in. That will change during Drew Doughty's (lower body) absence, which has the veteran defenseman week-to-week. Still, Moverare will be heavily sheltered in a third-pairing role, so don't expect much offense from him.

  • Tyler Myers D | DAL

Canucks' Tyler Myers: Helpers in consecutive games

Myers produced an assist, four blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 8-5 loss to the Panthers.

Myers has a helper in each of the last two games and three assists over his last six outings. The 35-year-old defenseman has filled a heavy role in the Canucks' top four this season, and all of that ice time will lead to a little bit of offense, though his main source of production is in the physical categories. For the year, Myers has racked up six points, 26 shots on net, 23 hits, 46 blocked shots and 16 PIM across 21 contests.

  • Ducks' Olen Zellweger: Scores game-winning goal

Zellweger scored the game-winning goal in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Mammoth.

Zellweger scored his second goal of the season Monday, but it was a huge one since it allowed the Ducks to secure the victory with a wrister at 1:50 of extra time. Zellweger isn't known for his scoring exploits, as he has only two goals this season, and this tally allowed him to snap a four-game pointless skid. Fantasy managers could look at better options to bolster their blueliner depth than Zellweger.

  • Filip Hronek D | VAN

Canucks' Filip Hronek: Nets power-play goal

Hronek scored a power-play goal on three shots and added two hits in Monday's 8-5 loss to the Panthers.

Hronek has a goal and four assists over his last six games. The 28-year-old defenseman is averaging a career-high 24:26 of ice time per game this season. The extra work isn't hurting his production -- he's at 12 points, 24 shots on net, 44 hits, 31 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 21 appearances after scoring his first goal of the season Monday.

  • Wild's Zach Bogosian: Could return in late November

Bogosian (lower body) might be ready to return in about a week or two, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports Tuesday.

Bogosian remains week-to-week and on injured reserve, but he could return at some point before the start of December. He has already missed the last 15 games. Bogosian hasn't earned a point in five appearances this season while posting five shots on goal, nine blocked shots and six hits.

  • Panthers' Uvis Balinskis: Pockets helper Monday

Balinskis notched an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 8-5 win over the Canucks.

Balinskis has struggled to secure regular playing time this season -- he had been a healthy scratch for the previous seven games. Donovan Sebrango was scratched Monday, and Balinskis put forth a solid performance in 12:55 of ice time, which could help him stay in the lineup for a bit. Over 10 outings, Balinskis has one assist, five shots on net, 11 hits, eight blocked shots and four PIM.

  • Aaron Ekblad D | FLA

Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Snags assist in high-scoring win

Ekblad registered an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and three blocked shots in Monday's 8-5 win over the Canucks.

Ekblad's November isn't going much better than his October -- he's been limited to two assists with a minus-7 rating over eight games this month. The 29-year-old is at a total of five points, 31 shots on net, 22 hits, 26 blocks, 12 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 19 appearances. The one silver lining is that he hasn't gotten swept up in the Panthers' injury woes yet, but his production has suffered anyway since the team is missing key players. Ekblad can still help in non-scoring areas, and he should bounce back on offense as the year progresses.
