  • Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Lands on IR

Mukhamadullin (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The Sharks recalled Luca Cagnoni from the minors in a corresponding move. Mukhamadullin probably won't be an option for San Jose's upcoming four-game road trip, which begins against the Islanders on Tuesday. However, it's unclear when he will be available to return. He had two assists in 12:45 of ice time during the Sharks' regular-season opener before missing the last four games.

  • Sharks' Luca Cagnoni: Called up from Barracuda

Cagnoni has been recalled by the Sharks from AHL San Jose, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports Sunday.

The corresponding move is the placement of Shakir Mukhamadullin (upper body) on injured reserve. The Sharks' back end has been decimated with the injury bug in the early going of the season, so it's a big opportunity for the 20-year-old Cagnoni to kick the door down and show he belongs in the NHL. He had two assists in six NHL games last season and absolutely lit up the AHL with 52 points in 64 games.

  • Kraken's Ville Ottavainen: Called up to NHL

Ottavainen will be called up by the Kraken, The Sound of Hockey reports Sunday.

Ottavainen will get his first NHL call-up this season after Ryan Lindgren left the Kraken's 4-3 victory over the Maple Leafs early with injury Saturday. With the Kraken battling other injuries on the back end, it wouldn't be surprising to see the 23-year-old draw into the lineup right away when the team heads to Philadelphia on Monday. Should he suit up, it would be just the second NHL game of the 2021 fourth-round selection's career.

  • Kraken's Ryan Lindgren: Suffers injury Saturday

Lindgren (upper body) sustained an injury in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Toronto, per Sound of Hockey.

Lindgren was struck in the face by the puck late in the third period. Seattle recalled Ville Ottavainen from AHL Coachella Valley on Sunday as a potential replacement for Monday's matchup against Philadelphia. The 27-year-old Lindgren has one assist and 14 blocked shots across five games this season.

  • Lightning's Steve Santini: Re-assigned to AHL

Santini was re-assigned to AHL Syracuse by the Lightning, the team announced Sunday.

Santini was recalled by the Lightning to serve as a depth option following some injury issues, but it's a good sign those are going to be resolved in time for the team's next game, Thursday against the Blackhawks. The 30-year-old will now return to the AHL, where he has recorded one assist in two appearances so far.

  • Noah Dobson D | MON

Canadiens' Noah Dobson: Pots first goal of season

Dobson scored a goal, took three shots, recorded a hit and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.

Dobson finally found the twine for the first time this season, and he had been pushing for his first goal, as this was the third time over his last four games in which he's recorded multiple shots. Dobson is up to three points across six games this season, and he should continue to find opportunities to produce given his consistent involvement -- he owns a steady top-pairing role while also being a regular fixture on the power play.

  • Golden Knights' Dylan Coghlan: Pair of points in Henderson's win

Coghlan scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in AHL Henderson's 4-3 win over San Diego on Saturday.

Coghlan has three points over four games this season. He never played with AHL Henderson during his first stint in the Golden Knights' organization, as Vegas hadn't established its minor-league affiliate at that time. He'll be near the top of the list of call-ups should the Golden Knights need a defenseman, though they haven't dipped into their depth while Noah Hanifin (undisclosed) has battled an injury early this season.

  • Kris Letang D | PIT

Penguins' Kris Letang: Sets up opening goal

Letang registered an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Sharks.

Letang's helper was his first point in six outings this season. He had an injury scare against the Rangers on Oct. 11, but he's been fine during the Penguins' road trip through California, playing in his usual top-four role. The defenseman has added six shots on net, nine blocked shots, eight hits and a plus-3 rating to begin the campaign, but he'll need more offense to be reliable in fantasy.

  • Kings' Joel Edmundson: Produces assist

Edmundson registered an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.

Edmundson got on the scoresheet for the first time in 2025-26 by helping out on a Trevor Moore tally. The 32-year-old Edmundson has played in a bottom-four role so far, and the Kings' defense is off to a shaky start even with plenty of veterans in the lineup. He's produced 10 hits, five blocked shots, six PIM, five shots on net and a plus-2 rating over six appearances. Edmundson reached the 20-point mark for the second time in his career in 2024-25, but don't expect a repeat performance.

  • Josh Mahura D | SEA

Kraken's Josh Mahura: Ends 134-game goalless drought

Mahura scored the game-winning goal in overtime in a 4-3 victory over the Maple Leafs on Saturday.

He cut around William Nylander and fired the puck past Anthony Stolarz from the slot to win the game. Mahura ended a streak of 134 regular-season games without a goal. His last tally came on Jan. 17, 2023, when he was with Florida. Interestingly, Mahura played in Scotiabank Arena against the Maple Leafs that night, too.
