Hockey Club's John Marino: Not on road trip
Marino (upper body) didn't accompany Utah on the team's season-ending three-game road trip, Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune reports Saturday.
Marino could miss the remainder of the regular season if he doesn't join the team on the road. He will sit out his third straight game versus Dallas on Saturday after taking a puck to the face in last Saturday's 4-1 win over Winnipeg. Marino may conclude the 2024-25 campaign with one goal, 13 assists, 29 shots on net and 46 blocked shots in 35 appearances.

Senators' Artem Zub: Logs helper on empty-netter
Zub notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-2 win over the Canadiens.
Zub has three helpers over his last eight outings, and he's added a plus-6 rating and 16 blocked shots in that span. The shutdown defender is at 13 points, 56 shots on net, 114 blocks, 57 hits and a plus-4 rating through 54 contests. While his offense isn't that impressive, his defensive play keeps him in the Senators' top four.

Senators' Jake Sanderson: Earns 100th career assist
Sanderson logged an assist, five shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-2 win over the Canadiens.
This was Sanderson's 100th career helper, a mark that took him just shy of three seasons to achieve. He has 125 points in 234 career contests. The defenseman has elevated his offense significantly in 2024-25 with 11 goals, 44 assists, 28 power-play points, 188 shots on net, 162 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 78 appearances.

Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Not available Saturday
Gostisbehere (lower back) will be out of action versus the Rangers on Saturday, according to Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer.
Gostisbehere will miss his second straight game with the injury. The defenseman has seven goals, 37 assists, 119 shots on goal, 65 blocked shots and 41 hits over 68 contests this season. Due to Gostisbehere's absence, Scott Morrow will remain in the lineup.

Ian Moore D | ANA
Ducks' Ian Moore: Signs entry-level deal
Moore has signed an entry-level contract and will join Anaheim on Saturday.
Moore, a third-round pick in 2020, logged three goals and 14 points in 32 games with Harvard this year before posting a goal and five points across nine appearances with AHL San Diego. The 23-year-old Moore is a highly regarded defensive prospect, and he should get an extended look with the Ducks over the final week of the regular season.

Oilers' Cam Dineen: Called up from AHL
Dineen was recalled on an emergency basis from AHL Bakersfield on Saturday, per Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic.
Dineen will rejoin the Oilers after being returned to the minors Friday after Mattias Ekholm (undisclosed) left Friday's 4-2 win over San Jose early. Dineen has played in only one NHL game this season, picking up four shots on net and one blocked shot in 14:56 of action versus Montreal on March 6.

Panthers' Dmitry Kulikov: Remains out of action
Kulikov (upper body) will be unavailable versus Buffalo on Saturday, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Kulikov participated in Saturday's practice and could return Monday versus the Rangers. He will miss his 12th straight game Saturday. Kulikov has four goals, nine assists, 110 hits and 70 blocked shots in 68 outings this season.

Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Back in lineup Saturday
Martinez (hip) will return to the lineup versus Winnipeg on Saturday, according to Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio.
Martinez missed nine games with the injury. The 37-year-old veteran has five goals and seven assists with 80 blocked shots over 43 appearances with the Blackhawks this season. Kevin Korchinski will come out of the lineup as a healthy scratch.

Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Not available Saturday
Chychrun (illness) will miss Saturday's tilt in Columbus, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports.
Chychrun will miss his second consecutive game. The team might simply be being cautious with him after clinching the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Chychrun has 20 goals and 27 assists, including 15 points on the power play this season. Alexander Alexeyev will enter the lineup to replace Chychrun.

Stars' Alex Petrovic: Called up from Texas
Petrovic was recalled from AHL Texas on Saturday.
Petrovic has logged three games at the NHL level this season, picking up three blocked shots and eight hits while being held off the scoresheet. The defenseman had five goals and 20 assists across 58 AHL games before his recall.
