  • Nick Jensen D | OTT

Senators' Nick Jensen: Snags assist Sunday

Jensen posted an assist, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets.

Jensen ended a 10-game point drought with the helper. That stretch also included a span of four contests when the defenseman was out with a lower-body injury. He's up to 20 points -- reaching that mark for the third time in the last four seasons -- while adding 75 shots on net, 84 blocked shots, 53 hits and a plus-19 rating over 68 appearances.

  • Sharks' Jimmy Schuldt: Returned to AHL

Schuldt (lower body) was reassigned to the AHL San Jose on Monday.

After missing the last four games, Schuldt participated in Monday's morning skate with the Sharks and appears ready to return to action in the AHL. He has six goals and 20 points in 59 minor-league appearances this season. Schuldt hasn't reached the scoresheet in six NHL outings during the 2024-25 campaign while posting four shots on goal, three blocked shots and 10 hits.

  • John Marino D | UTA

Hockey Club's John Marino: Day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's game

Marino (face) was designated as day-to-day in the lead-up to Tuesday's matchup versus the Kraken, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.

Marino has already been limited to just 35 games this season due to a back injury and is now in danger of missing more time after getting hit in the face by a puck. If the 27-year-old defenseman can't play Tuesday, look for Nick DeSimone to step into the lineup in a third-pairing role.

  • Sharks' Vincent Desharnais: Won't play Monday

Desharnais (upper body) won't be available for Monday's game against Calgary, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Desharnais participated in Monday's morning skate and will travel with the team, indicating he could return from a six-game absence soon. He has compiled three assists, 28 shots on goal, 87 hits, 83 blocked shots and 45 PIM in 51 contests with San Jose, Vancouver and Pittsburgh this season. Once healthy, Desharnais could replace Lucas Carlsson or Jack Thompson in the lineup.

  • Jan Rutta D | SJ

Sharks' Jan Rutta: Traveling with team

Rutta (lower body) will join the Sharks on their four-game road trip, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports Monday.

Rutta's presence on the trip means he could return to action at some point during that four-game run, starting with Wednesday's matchup against Minnesota. In the meantime, Lucas Carlsson and Henry Thrun should continue to see plenty of minutes on the blue line.

  • Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Ruled out for season

Mukhamadullin (upper body) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports Monday.

Mukhamadullin sustained an upper-body injury against the Ducks on Tuesday, and he won't be able to return to game action to close out the season. He's also been ruled out for the AHL playoffs, so he'll shift his focus toward recovering ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. Mukhamadullin made 30 appearances for the Sharks this year, recording two goals, seven assists, 51 blocked shots and 25 hits while averaging 18:04 of ice time.

  • Jacob Trouba D | ANA

Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Unlikely to play Monday

Trouba (lower body) isn't expected to be an option for Monday's matchup against Edmonton, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Trouba didn't participate in Monday's morning skate and is poised to miss his second straight game. He has collected one goal, 13 assists, 106 shots on net, 201 blocked shots and 156 hits in 73 appearances between the Ducks and Rangers this season. Due to Trouba's absence, Pavel Mintyukov will presumably stay in Monday's lineup.

  • Avalanche's Samuel Girard: Considered day-to-day

Girard was labeled day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's matchup with Vegas, Meghan Angley of Guerilla Sports reports.

Girard is currently mired in a 19-game goal drought during which he has managed just three assists and 20 shots on net. Between his injury absence and the offensive slump, the 26-year-old blueliner looks poised to miss the 30-point mark for the second straight year. If Girard remains out Tuesday, Keaton Middleton should continue to feature on the third pairing.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Two points Sunday

Dahlin notched a goal, an assist, four shots, a hit and a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Bruins.

Dahlin extended his point streak to three games with this two-point performance, and the defenseman is ending the season on a strong note. The 24-year-old has cracked the scoresheet in all but one of his last eight appearances, tallying 10 points (three goals, seven helpers), 22 shots, 11 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over that span.

  • Senators' Thomas Chabot: Adds two helpers in win

Chabot dished out two assists in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets.

Chabot got in on the action early in Sunday's game by assisting Adam Gaudette's opening goal for the contest. Chabot then picked up a secondary helper on David Perron's goal in the third period. With his two helpers, the 28-year-old Chabot has 32 assists, 38 points, 167 shots on net and 139 blocked shots in 76 games this season. The blueliner has provided decent output offensively for the Senators recently with five points in his last seven games. He currently ranks 29th in the league in blocks and provides enough category coverage in fantasy to give him good value in all league formats for the remainder of the regular season.
