  • Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo: Nets first career goal

Matinpalo scored a goal, tallied three shots on net and dished out three hits in Sunday's 4-0 win over Columbus.

Matinpalo tallied his first career goal to give the Senators an early 2-0 lead. Sunday's tally was Matinpalo's second career point in 41 career games at the NHL level. He has recently held down a third-pairing role on Ottawa's blue line. His value in fantasy is limited, however, as he's averaging just 12:26 of ice time per game this season. It is best to look elsewhere for defensive options for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.

  • Colin Miller D | WPG

Jets' Colin Miller: Game-time decision against Blues

Miller is battling an illness and will be a game-time call versus St. Louis on Monday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Miller missed the morning skate due to his illness and is questionable to be ready to face the Blues on Monday. If Miller isn't available, Haydn Fleury looks set to play for just the second time in Winnipeg's last eight contests. Given his lack of offensive upside, Miller's potential absence is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy managers.

  • Neal Pionk D | WPG

Jets' Neal Pionk: Close to returning

Head coach Scott Arniel said Monday that Pionk (lower body) is "really close" to returning, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Arniel's comments indicate that Pionk will miss Monday's game against the Blues, but the blueliner is working on his conditioning and is closing in on his return to game action. It wouldn't be surprising to see Pionk return to the ice over the final week of the regular season, which would help prepare him for a postseason run.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Nets game-tying goal Sunday

Harley scored a goal and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Wild.

Harley found the back of the net to tie the game at two apiece with less than seven minutes to play in regulation. The 23-year-old blueliner has been one of the best defensemen offensively since the calendar flipped to 2025 with 32 points in his last 40 games. Overall, Harley has 16 goals, 49 points, 165 shots on goal and 105 blocks in 75 appearances this season. He ranks 14th among blueliners in points and is fifth among all Stars skaters. Harley has stepped up in a big way after Miro Heiskanen went down with a knee injury. Harley should continue to provide high-level play in fantasy for the remainder of the season.

  • Jake McCabe D | TOR

Maple Leafs' Jake McCabe: Set to miss next two games

McCabe (undisclosed) won't play against Florida on Tuesday and will miss Wednesday's matchup versus Tampa Bay, per Mark Masters of TSN.

McCabe sat out Saturday's 5-0 win over Columbus but participated in Monday's practice. He has accounted for two goals, 23 points, 74 shots on net, 135 blocked shots and 118 hits in 66 appearances this season. With McCabe unavailable until at least Saturday against Montreal, Brandon Carlo and Oliver Ekman-Larsson will likely see increased roles.

  • Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Game-time call Monday

Miller (illness) will be a game-time decision ahead of Monday's game versus the Lightning, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

Miller has found his offensive stride of late, recording two goals and three assists in his last six appearances. If Miller is sidelined against the Bolts, Zac Jones would likely get back into the lineup for the first time since March 25 versus the Kings. Miller should be a part of the No. 2 power-play unit if given the all-clear Monday.

  • Filip Hronek D | VAN

Canucks' Filip Hronek: Plucks apple in loss

Hronek posted an assist in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Hronek has eight points over his last 14 outings as he continues to offer steady offense from a top-four role on defense. The 27-year-old has reached the 30-point mark for the fourth year in a row and the fifth time in his seven NHL seasons. He's produced five goals, 25 assists, 76 shots on net, 80 hits, 71 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating across 56 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Golden Knights' Alex Pietrangelo: Puts up helper in win

Pietrangelo notched an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Canucks.

Pietrangelo earned a helper in his third game back from missing four contests due to a lower-body injury. The 35-year-old has slotted right back into a top-four role, though he hasn't been able to reclaim a power-play spot with both Shea Theodore and Noah Hanifin healthy. Pietrangelo is at 33 points through 70 outings in 2024-25, matching his total from 64 games in the 2023-24 regular season. This year, he's added 123 shots on net, 137 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating.

  • Lane Hutson D | MON

Canadiens' Lane Hutson: Manages helper in win

Hutson logged an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Predators.

Hutson set up Patrik Laine for a goal at 5:47 of the second period, which ended up being the game-winner. With 11 points over his last eight contests -- only two of which were on the power play -- Hutson is stepping up in a big moment for the Canadiens. The top-four blueliner has 64 points (six goals, 58 assists), 86 shots on net, 119 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 77 appearances as a rookie.

  • T.J. Brodie D | CHI

Blackhawks' T.J. Brodie: Crowded out of lineup

Brodie was scratched for the 17th game in a row Sunday in a 3-1 win over the Penguins.

Brodie had an assist in a March 1 win over the Ducks, but he hasn't been in the lineup since. The Blackhawks already looked to be pivoting to evaluation mode at the time. Since then, Artyom Levshunov and Kevin Korchinski were called up from AHL Rockford and Sam Rinzel was signed out of the University of Minnesota. Connor Murphy was the only veteran blueliner in the lineup Sunday, and it seems unlikely Brodie will get the nod over fellow scratches Louis Crevier or Ethan Del Mastro should the Blackhawks mix things up over their last five games. Brodie is under contract for 2025-26, but he could be limited to part-time duties if he isn't bought out or traded to make room for younger players.
