  • Brock Faber D | MIN

Wild's Brock Faber: Two points in Wednesday's OT loss

Faber produced an even-strength goal and added a shorthanded assist in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers.

The 22-year-old blueliner snapped a 12-game point drought with the performance. Faber hasn't been able to match the scoring pace from his breakout 2023-24 campaign, and over 72 appearances this season he's managed eight goals and 26 points. His secondary contributions have dipped as well -- after racking up 150 blocked shots and 65 hits last season, he's delivered only 102 blocks and 35 hits in 2024-25.

  • Vince Dunn D | SEA

Kraken's Vince Dunn: Provides pair of assists

Dunn notched two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Canucks.

Dunn has six helpers and a plus-5 rating over his last eight outings. The defenseman helped out on Shane Wright's second-period tally as well as Adam Larsson's empty-netter in the third. Dunn is up to 37 points, 128 shots on net, 66 blocked shots, 29 PIM and a minus-3 rating across 56 appearances. He'll have to remain steady to get back to the 40-point mark for the third year in a row.

  • Adam Larsson D | SEA

Kraken's Adam Larsson: Fills empty net

Larsson scored an empty-net goal, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Canucks.

Larsson has been steady lately with two goals and five assists over his last eight contests. The defenseman put the icing on this game, burying an empty-netter from the point. He's up to seven goals, 26 points, 102 shots on net, 135 blocked shots, 97 hits and a plus-21 rating through 76 appearances as a fixture on the Kraken's top defensive pairing.

  • Blackhawks' Ethan Del Mastro: Slings assist Wednesday

Del Mastro logged an assist and four hits in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

Del Mastro has an assist in each of his last two games, but he was scratched once in between those contests. The 22-year-old defenseman will be in a fierce competition for playing time over the last couple of weeks of the season, as Louis Crevier and Kevin Korchinski are among the young blueliners that could get a look on the third pairing. Del Mastro is up to six points, 18 shots on net, 39 hits, 19 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 23 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Murphy: Collects two points

Murphy scored a goal on three shots, added a shorthanded assist and blocked five shots in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

Murphy snapped a 10-game point drought when he helped out on Ilya Mikheyev's first-period tally. In the second, Murphy scored for the first time since Dec. 15, but the Blackhawks' offense stalled out after that. This two-point effort helped Murphy match his career high of 19 points from the 2019-20 campaign. He's added 78 shots on net, 107 hits, 150 blocked shots, 46 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 62 appearances. The Blackhawks have seven games left, giving Murphy a little time to reach the 20-point mark for the first time, assuming he doesn't get scratched to give a younger blueliner a chance to play.

  • Cale Makar D | COL

Avalanche's Cale Makar: Two points in comeback win

Makar scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks.

Makar has set a career high in goals with 29 after scoring to put the Avalanche on the board at 9:17 of the third period. He's also up to 87 points through 76 appearances, three points off his career high from last season. Makar has surged on offense with five goals and seven assists over his last nine contests. He's got a chance to join an elite group if he can find the twine once more this season. That would make him the ninth blueliner to record at least 30 goals in a single campaign.

  • Seth Jones D | FLA

Panthers' Seth Jones: On modest three-game point streak

Jones notched a power-play assist, two shots on goal and five hits in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Jones has a goal and two power-play assists during his three-game point streak. The 30-year-old defenseman continues to look comfortable in a workhorse role on a contender after doing just okay with similar usage in Chicago earlier in the season. He's up to six points in 14 outings with the Panthers and a total of 33 points, 113 shots on net, 90 hits, 98 blocked shots and a minus-23 rating over 56 appearances this season.

  • Panthers' Gustav Forsling: Ends goal drought Wednesday

Forsling scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Forsling's offense has started to come around with five points over his last eight games. His opening tally Wednesday was his first goal since Feb. 25 versus the Predators, a span of 15 games without a goal. The 28-year-old defenseman generates positive value in other ways, but he's no slouch on offense with 10 goals, 27 points, 179 shots on net, 75 hits, 85 blocked shots and a plus-31 rating over 75 appearances. He's reached the 10-goal mark in four straight seasons.

  • Jake McCabe D | TOR

Maple Leafs' Jake McCabe: Injured Wednesday

McCabe sustained an undisclosed injury in Wednesday's game versus the Panthers, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.

Head coach Craig Berube had no update on McCabe's status in his postgame comments. The 31-year-old McCabe logged one assist and three hits prior to his exit, which occurred late in the third period. He'll be considered day-to-day heading into Saturday's game versus the Blue Jackets.

  • Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Not playing Wednesday

Martinez (hip) won't play Wednesday versus the Avalanche, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Martinez is out for a fifth straight game, though he returned to practice over the weekend. It's unclear how close he is to returning to action. The Blackhawks' next game is Friday against the Capitals.
