Wyatt Kaiser D | CHI
Blackhawks' Wyatt Kaiser: Lends assist Friday
Kaiser recorded an assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Golden Knights.
Kaiser ended a five-game slump with the helper. The 22-year-old defenseman is seeing steady playing time in March, most often on the second pairing. He's yet to display much of a scoring touch with just eight points over 49 contests. He's added 57 shots on net, 80 blocked shots, 45 hits and a minus-2 rating through 49 appearances.

Jacob Trouba D | ANA
Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Injured Friday
Trouba (undisclosed) left Friday's game versus the Rangers after falling into the boards in the third period. There was no update on his status following the game.
Trouba was injured on a shorthanded rush in the third period. He ended up with 15:50 of ice time as well as four hits and two blocked shots in the contest. If he can't suit up Sunday versus the Maple Leafs, Oliver Kylington will likely get a chance to play.

Noah Hanifin D | LV
Golden Knights' Noah Hanifin: Adds power-play helper
Hanifin logged a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Hanifin has six helpers over his last five games, three of which have come on the power play. The 28-year-old set up Pavel Dorofeyev's game-winning tally with the man advantage at 16:49 of the third period. Hanifin is finishing a streaky year strong, and he's up to 38 points (10 on the power play), 130 shots on net, 94 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 72 appearances.

Josh Morrissey D | WPG
Jets' Josh Morrissey: Draws power-play helper
Morrissey logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
Morrissey had been limited to four even-strength points over his previous eight outings. He helped out on Alex Iafallo's power-play tally in the second period, which stretched the Jets' lead to 3-0. Morrissey is up to 56 points (22 on the power play), 156 shots on net, 102 blocked shots, 44 hits and a plus-11 rating through 72 contests this season.

Olli Maatta D | CGY
Hockey Club's Olli Maatta: Sustains lower-body injury
Maatta (lower body) won't return to Friday's game versus the Panthers.
Maatta was injured in the second period and ruled out during the second intermission. It's unclear at this time if he'll miss more time beyond the end of Friday's game. If he can't suit up Sunday in Chicago, Nick DeSimone will likely take his place in the lineup.

Alec Martinez D | CHI
Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Still out Friday
Martinez (upper body) won't play Friday versus the Golden Knights, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Martinez will miss his third straight game. The Blackhawks brought up Kevin Korchinski from AHL Rockford for this contest, so Martinez may not even have a steady place in the lineup once healthy as Chicago pivots toward prospect evaluation at the tail end of the season.

Kaiden Guhle D | MON
Canadiens' Kaiden Guhle: Set to return Friday
Guhle (quadriceps) is expected to be in the lineup Friday versus the Hurricanes, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.
Guhle will draw into the lineup as the Canadiens dress seven defensemen, offering a little insurance if he's not quite up to 100 percent yet. The 23-year-old will bolster the Canadiens' blue line as they look to find some leverage in the playoff race. Joshua Roy is set to come out of the lineup to make way for Guhle.

Alex Pietrangelo D | LV
Golden Knights' Alex Pietrangelo: Will miss next two games
Pietrangelo (lower body) is expected to miss the final two games of Vegas' road trip, the Golden Knights announced Friday.
That rules Pietrangelo out for Friday's tilt in Chicago and Saturday's clash in Nashville. He's already missed Tuesday's 5-1 win over Minnesota. He has four goals, 32 points, 119 shots, 39 hits and 131 blocks in 67 outings in 2024-25. Kaedan Korczak is likely to remain in the lineup while Pietrangelo is unavailable.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic D | SJ
Sharks' Marc-Edouard Vlasic: Officially day-to-day
Vlasic (upper body) is considered day-to-day ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Rangers, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Vlasic has been out of action for the Sharks' previous three contests due to his upper-body injury but appears to be trending in the right direction. Considering the veteran blueliner is mired in a 14-game pointless streak, few fantasy players will be impacted by his potential return to the lineup.
