  • Panthers' Gustav Forsling: Snags assist in loss

Forsling recorded an assist and two hits in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Islanders.

Forsling snapped an eight-game point drought with the helper on Sam Reinhart's opening goal early in the second period. The 28-year-old Forsling has started to see traces of power-play time while Aaron Ekblad (suspension) is out of the lineup until the third game of the playoffs. Forsling's offense hasn't followed his increased responsibilities. He's now at 23 points, 160 shots on net, 67 hits, 80 blocked shots and a plus-30 rating through 68 appearances, putting him on track for his worst offensive campaign in four years.

  • Mike Reilly D | CAR

Islanders' Mike Reilly: Point in first game back from LTIR

Reilly notched an assist and two blocked shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Panthers.

Reilly was activated from long-term injured reserve March 8, but he had to wait his turn to get back into the lineup. An opportunity arose Sunday when Adam Pelech (lower body) joined Adam Boqvist (upper body) on the injury report, allowing Reilly to return after sitting out 54 games due to a concussion and then a heart condition. The 31-year-old defenseman will be in contention for third-pairing minutes for the rest of the season, so he's not likely to make a large impact in fantasy. Given the ordeal he's been through with his health, getting back on the ice is a big accomplishment.

  • Islanders' Tony DeAngelo: Provides pair of helpers

DeAngelo logged two assists in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Panthers.

DeAngelo earned his first multi-point effort as an Islander when he helped out on goals by Marc Gatcomb and Maxim Tsyplakov to erase a two-goal deficit in the third period. The 29-year-old DeAngelo continues to play important minutes for a defense that is starting to weather the storm with injuries again. He's up to 10 points, 36 shots on net, 26 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating across 19 outings.

  • Noah Dobson D | MON

Islanders' Noah Dobson: Scores in Sunday's win

Dobson scored a goal on four shots and blocked three shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Panthers.

Dobson scored for the first time in nine games since coming back from a lower-body injury. He has just four points in that span, but he's taken multiple shots on goal in eight straight contests, so the chances are there. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to seven goals, 28 points, 165 shots on net, 98 blocked shots, 50 hits and a minus-5 rating through 55 appearances this season.

  • Panthers' Dmitry Kulikov: Injured on Long Island

Kulikov sustained an upper-body injury Sunday against the Islanders and will not return.

Kulikov immediately departed the game after suffering his injury on a play in which he received a minor penalty for holding against New York's Anthony Duclair. Kulikov will presumably be fully evaluated when the team returns to Florida after Sunday's game. The Panthers are already without Aaron Ekblad (suspension) on the blue line, and if Kulikov has to miss any time, the team will have to summon a defenseman from AHL Charlotte -- Tobias Bjornfot, who has made eight appearances with Florida this season, would probably be first in line for a promotion.

  • Josh Manson D | COL

Avalanche's Josh Manson: Not expected back soon

Manson (upper body) will likely be out week-to-week, Brennan Vogt of Mile High Hockey reports Sunday.

Manson didn't play Sunday against Dallas after sustaining his upper-body injury Friday in Calgary. Sam Malinski should see an uptick in ice time while Manson is on the shelf, and Erik Johnson could play more consistently on the third pairing, though Keaton Middleton will be in the mix for minutes as well.

  • Josh Manson D | COL

    Avalanche's Josh Manson: Unavailable Sunday

Manson (upper body) won't play against Dallas on Sunday, according to Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette.

Manson will miss at least one game after being injured in Friday's 4-2 win over Calgary. He has produced one goal, 15 points, 65 shots on net, 59 blocked shots and 105 hits in 48 appearances this season. Manson will be replaced in Sunday's lineup by Sam Malinski.

  • Penguins' Sebastian Aho: Back with Pittsburgh

Aho was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Sunday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.

Aho will rejoin the Pens as an emergency recall a day after he was sent down to the AHL. Aho has yet to suit up in an NHL game this season, and he'll likely serve as the seventh defenseman for the Penguins.

  • Lian Bichsel D | DAL

    Stars' Lian Bichsel: Returning Sunday

Bichsel (illness) will play Sunday against the Avalanche, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Bichsel will return to the Stars' lineup after missing their last game Friday. The 20-year-old blueliner has two goals, five points and a plus-6 rating through 22 games in his rookie campaign.

  • David Savard D | MON

Canadiens' David Savard: Notches assist in win

Savard recorded an assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Panthers.

The helper snapped an eight-game point drought for Savard. That's not unusual for the 34-year-old defenseman -- his primary contribution comes in blocked shots, which he's had 29 of over his last 10 outings. For the season, he's at 13 points, 40 shots on net, 30 PIM, 49 hits and 151 blocks over 60 outings. He'll likely finish short of the 20-point mark for the first time in three years barring an improbable surge on offense over the final month of the campaign.
