Shayne Gostisbehere D | CAR
Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Plates pair of apples
Gostisbehere registered two assists and blocked four shots in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Flyers.
Both of Gostisbehere's helpers were secondary assists in the second period. His first assist was on the power play, and his second helped Mark Jankowski tally his second goal of the game. Overall, Gostisbehere is up to 30 assists, 37 points and 53 blocks in 59 appearances this season. The 31-year-old blueliner is currently tied for 18th in assists among defensemen and second among all Hurricanes behind only Sebastian Aho. Gostisbehere has eight points over his last 11 games and has been fairly consistent in his production all season. His 22 power-play points are intriguing in fantasy, and he can add to blue lines in leagues that value offensive production.

Brandon Carlo D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Brandon Carlo: First point since trade
Carlo notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Senators.
Carlo ended a 12-game point drought that began during his time with the Bruins. He was traded to the Maple Leafs at the deadline and has assumed a top-four role with his new team. The 28-year-old is still a shutdown defenseman, so he'll balance out the more offense-inclined play of Morgan Rielly most of the time. Carlo has 10 points, 64 shots on net, 128 blocked shots, 71 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 67 appearances.

Scott Morrow D | NYR
Hurricanes' Scott Morrow: Nets first career goal
Morrow scored his first career NHL goal in Saturday's 5-0 shutout victory against Philadelphia.
Morrow found the back of the net by backhanding a deflection off Philadelphia's Samuel Ersson. The 22-year-old Morrow has been highly effective offensively from the blue line with three points in his first six games of the season. While Morrow's promotion to the NHL has been in relief of the injured Dmitry Orlov (upper-body), Morrow has made a strong case to remain with Carolina until the playoffs and could be an exciting name in fantasy for the Hurricanes in future years.

Trevor van Riemsdyk D | WAS
Capitals' Trevor van Riemsdyk: First goal in over two years
Van Riemsdyk scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.
The goal was van Riemsdyk's first since March 9, 2023. The defenseman has maintained a steady spot in the Capitals' lineup as a bottom-four option, but that's a massive drought for any player. He snapped a 10-game point drought with the tally as well. For the season, van Riemsdyk has contributed 17 points, 68 shots on net, 117 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating over 67 appearances. His play isn't fantasy-friendly, but he tends to be fairly steady and reliable on the ice.

Vladislav Kolyachonok D | DAL
Penguins' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Collects first assist with new team
Kolyachonok notched an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Devils.
Kolyachonok remains listed on the top pairing alongside Kris Letang, but the former had just 12:00 of ice time in Saturday's win. The helper was Kolyachonok's first point as a Penguin, and he's at six points, 17 shots on net, 26 blocked shots, 18 hits and a minus-9 rating over 29 appearances when accounting for his time with Utah earlier in the season.
-
Erik Karlsson D | PIT
Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Scores again Saturday
Karlsson scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Devils.
Karlsson has two goals and two assists during his four-game point streak. He's had just one multi-game slump since a six-game skid in late January. The surge on offense has helped Karlsson get up to 10 goals, 49 points, 165 shots on net, 83 blocked shots and a minus-20 rating over 69 appearances.

John Klingberg D | SJ
Oilers' John Klingberg: Not expected to play
Klingberg (undisclosed) won't be available for Sunday's game versus the Rangers, according to Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels.
Klingberg will miss his sixth straight outing. He has chipped in one goal, three assists, 17 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and four hits across 10 appearances this season. Klingberg's next opportunity to return from a lingering injury will come Tuesday versus Utah.

Adam Boqvist D | NYI
Islanders' Adam Boqvist: Won't play Sunday
Boqvist (upper body) won't be an option for Sunday's matchup versus Florida, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Boqvist will miss his second straight game, though he did participate in Sunday's morning skate. He is progressing but hasn't been cleared for contact yet. Boqvist has four goals, 11 points, 37 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and 11 hits through 30 appearances between the Panthers and Islanders this season. With Boqvist and Adam Pelech (lower body) unavailable, Scott Mayfield and Mike Reilly will play against the Panthers on Sunday.
-
Adam Pelech D | NYI
Islanders' Adam Pelech: Out Sunday
Pelech (lower body) won't play Sunday against Florida, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
The Islanders will be shorthanded on the blue line with both Pelech and Adam Boqvist (upper body) out. Scott Mayfield and Mike Reilly will likely round out the Isles' defensive corps Sunday. Pelech has 17 assists in 45 games this year.

Conor Timmins D | BUF
Penguins' Conor Timmins: Two helpers in win
Timmins notched two assists while adding two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Devils.
It's the first multi-point performance of the season for the 26-year-old blueliner. Timmins has been surprisingly productive since being picked up from Toronto at the trade deadline, and he's contributed a goal and three points with seven hits and a plus-7 rating in his first four appearances for Pittsburgh.
