Christopher Tanev D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Chris Tanev: Game-time call versus Cats
Tanev (upper body) will be a game-time decision against Florida on Thursday, Joshua Kloke of The Athletic reports.
Tanev looks set to return from a six-game absence due to his upper-body injury. If the veteran blueliner is back in the lineup, it will likely mean Philippe Myers is relegated to a spot in the press box as a healthy scratch. On the year, the 35-year-old Tanev is averaging 19:48 of ice time, but those minutes could drop after the Maple Leafs brought in Brandon Carlo at the trade deadline.

Dougie Hamilton D | NJ
Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Regular season done
Hamilton (lower body) will miss the rest of the regular season and the first round of the postseason, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports Thursday.
Hamilton's recovery timeline almost certainly factored into the Devils' decision to go out and get Brian Dumoulin at the trade deadline. With Jonas Siegenthaler (lower body) also out the rest of the regular season at least, the Devils will need to rely heavily on Johnny Kovacevic and Simon Nemec.

Rasmus Ristolainen D | PHI
Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Not playing Thursday
Ristolainen is "banged up" and will not play versus Tampa Bay on Thursday, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Ristolainen has four goals, 15 assists, 97 hits and 94 blocked shots over 63 contests this season. He was pointless in his last six games. Look for Egor Zamula to enter the lineup for Ristolainen against the Lightning.

William Lagesson D | DET
Red Wings' William Lagesson: Remains firmly in press box
Lagesson was scratched for the 28th consecutive game in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Sabres.
Lagesson has made two appearances this season, both in December. The Red Wings seem content to run with the same six blueliners each game, as Lagesson has not mounted a challenge to Justin Holl, Albert Johansson or Erik Gustafsson for playing time since the calendar flipped to January. At this rate, it will likely take an injury or two for Lagesson to get a look in the lineup.

Simon Edvinsson D | DET
Red Wings' Simon Edvinsson: Chips in with helper
Edvinsson logged an assist, three blocked shots and 12 PIM in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Sabres.
Edvinsson has been limited to two assists over six outings in March. The 22-year-old defenseman hasn't had trouble adjusting to the NHL this season, putting up a total of 25 points, 63 shots on net, 61 hits, 112 blocked shots and 50 PIM across 61 appearances in a top-four role. He doesn't have widespread fantasy appeal yet, but he's a player to keep an eye on in redraft formats, especially if his offense heats up down the stretch.

Moritz Seider D | DET
Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Buries power-play tally
Seider scored a power-play goal on four shots, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Sabres.
Seider has scored in two of his last three games after potting just one goal over his previous 32 outings. In that 32-game sample, he also had 19 assists, so it's not like the defenseman has been quiet on offense this season. He's having a strong year overall with seven goals, 38 points (20 on the power play), 134 shots on net, 177 hits, 147 blocked shots, 34 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 65 appearances. His category coverage is nearly unmatched among blueliners in fantasy.

Jayden Struble D | MON
Canadiens' Jayden Struble: Lends assist in overtime loss
Struble posted an assist, two hits and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kraken.
Struble ended February with a helper in three straight games, but this was his first point over six outings in March. The 23-year-old defenseman is holding onto a bottom-four role for the Canadiens while Kaiden Guhle (quadriceps) remains out indefinitely. Struble is at nine points, 36 shots on net, 90 hits, 42 blocked shots, 48 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 39 appearances. He's not a big scorer, so his fantasy appeal is limited to deep formats that value his contributions in hits and PIM.

Lane Hutson D | MON
Canadiens' Lane Hutson: First rookie to 50 points
Hutson logged two assists, including one on the power play, and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kraken.
Hutson is the first rookie to cross the 50-point threshold this season -- he got there with his first assist of the contest. The defenseman has 51 points through 65 appearances for a 0.78 points-per-game rate, which is behind Macklin Celebrini's mark of 0.89, as the San Jose center missed nearly a month early in the campaign. Still, Hutson has the scoring chops to be in the Calder Trophy discussion at the end of the season. The 21-year-old blueliner has racked up a goal and nine assists over his last nine outings while seeing time in the Canadiens' top four and on the first power-play unit.
-
Vince Dunn D | SEA
Kraken's Vince Dunn: Sets up game-tying tally
Dunn registered a power-play assist and four shots on goal in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Canadiens.
Dunn has five helpers over six games in March, but this was his first power-play point since Feb. 8 versus the Flames. The defenseman set up Matty Beniers' game-tying goal late in the third period. Dunn is up to 31 points (nine on the power play), 111 shots on net, 54 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 46 appearances. The Kraken have had a tough year, but Dunn continues to be a reliable source of offense from the blue line, though this is the second year in a row where he's missed substantial time due to injuries.

Brandon Montour D | SEA
Kraken's Brandon Montour: Makes history in overtime win
Montour scored twice on three shots, dished two power-play assists, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Canadiens.
Montour's second goal came just four seconds into overtime, the fastest tally from the start of overtime in NHL history. Chandler Stephenson won a faceoff and Montour rushed past a Montreal defender to fire home the game-winning goal from the slot, capping an impressive individual effort for the defenseman in this contest. This was his second four-point game of the season as well as his third multi-goal effort. He has five tallies and three assists over six outings in March, and Montour is up to 15 goals, 36 points (10 on the power play), 190 shots on net, 79 blocked shots, 69 hits, 43 PIM and a minus-15 rating through 65 appearances this season.
