  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Helps out on power play

LaCombe logged a power-play assist and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to Utah.

LaCombe has a goal and five assists over seven outings in March. The 24-year-old defenseman saw 28:12 of ice time Wednesday, which was a new career high. He continues to grow in confidence and clearly has the trust of head coach Greg Cronin. LaCombe is up to 11 goals, 24 assists, 112 shots on net, 97 blocked shots, 51 hits and a plus-6 rating across 58 contests this season. With the potential to finish the campaign around the 45-point mark, LaCombe should be rostered in virtually all fantasy formats.

  • Hockey Club's Nick DeSimone: No easy path to playing time

DeSimone was scratched for the ninth straight game in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

DeSimone doesn't have a path into the lineup while Utah's NHL defense group is nearly fully healthy, except for Robert Bortuzzo (lower body). The 30-year DeSimone has six points over 25 outings this season, including four assists across 14 contests for Utah. If he checks back into the lineup, he'll fill a third-pairing role, so there isn't much fantasy value to be had from a player in that kind of situation.

  • Ian Cole D | UTA

Hockey Club's Ian Cole: Nabs assist in win

Cole logged an assist and three blocked shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Cole snapped a 20-game point drought when he set up Jack McBain's first-period tally. The 36-year-old Cole signed a one-year, $3 million contract last Wednesday to stay with Utah in 2025-26, and while he's not a big scorer, he is valued for his defensive work. This season, he's up to 14 points, 56 shots on net, 77 hits, 167 blocked shots, 55 PIM and a minus-7 rating over 65 appearances.

  • Hockey Club's Mikhail Sergachev: Earns 300th career point

Sergachev logged a power-play assist, two hits, three blocked shots and four PIM in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Sergachev set up a Dylan Guenther tally in the third period. The helper was Sergachev's 300th career point, a milestone he achieved in his 535th game. The defenseman has been surging lately with a goal and six assists over his last six outings, with four of those helpers coming on the power play. For the season, he's up to 43 points (19 on the power play), 101 shots on net, 117 blocked shots, 35 hits and a minus-9 rating over 60 appearances.

  • Kevin Bahl D | CGY

Flames' Kevin Bahl: Registers helper Wednesday

Bahl notched an assist and four shots on goal in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Bahl helped out on Nazem Kadri's first-period tally. This was Bahl's second assist in eight games since he recovered from an upper-body injury and an illness that collectively cost him about a month of action. The 24-year-old defenseman has 16 points, 57 shots on net, 96 blocked shots, 71 hits, 33 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 55 appearances as an effective shutdown blueliner in the Flames' top four.

  • Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Ends slump Wednesday

Andersson posted an assist and two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Andersson had been held off the scoresheet for nine straight games entering Wednesday. He ended the slump by springing Nazem Kadri with a long-range pass on the goal that tied the game at 1-1 late in the first period. Andersson has been prone to some lengthy droughts this season, and it doesn't help that the Flames have a weak offense. The 28-year-old blueliner is at eight goals, 14 assists, 124 shots on net, 157 blocked shots, 50 PIM and a minus-22 rating over 64 outings.

  • Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Dishes two assists

Weegar notched a pair of assists, one on the power play and the other shorthanded, and added three hits in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Weegar had a hand in each of Jonathan Huberdeau's second-period goals. The 31-year-old Weegar is having a strong March, racking up a goal and five helpers through six contests this month. The defenseman crossed the 30-assist mark for the fourth time in five years and has 38 points (18 on the power play, two shorthanded), 144 shots on net, 173 hits, 142 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating through 64 appearances.

  • Canucks' Victor Mancini: Garners assist in shootout win

Mancini picked up an assist and four blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.

Mancini was forced into a larger role after Elias Pettersson (upper body) left Wednesday's contest in the first period. The 22-year-old Mancini saw a career-high 18:32 of ice time while picking up some of the slack, and he was able to deliver the secondary helper on the other Elias Pettersson's third-period goal to tie the game. This gave Mancini five points, 24 shots on net, 28 blocked shots, 19 hits and a minus-2 rating over 20 appearances between the Canucks and the Rangers this season.

  • Canucks' Marcus Pettersson: Helpers in consecutive contests

Pettersson notched an assist, two hits and four blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.

Pettersson played alongside Quinn Hughes at even strength in this contest. The 28-year-old Pettersson has a helper in back-to-back games and three assists over six outings in March. For the season, the shutdown defenseman is at 21 points, 57 shots on net, 69 hits, 108 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 61 appearances between the Canucks and the Penguins.

  • Filip Hronek D | VAN

Canucks' Filip Hronek: Snags helper in shootout win

Hronek notched an assist and blocked four shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.

Hronek has a goal and six helpers over his last five outings. The defenseman didn't take a cut in ice time with Quinn Hughes back from an undisclosed injury -- Tyler Myers (undisclosed) didn't play and Elias Pettersson (upper body) left the contest early, allowing Hronek to see a season-high 28:07 of ice time. With the helper, Hronek has reached the 25-point mark for the sixth year in a row, doing so in just 44 appearances in 2024-25. He's added 61 shots on net, 67 hits, 58 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating.
