Ville Heinola D | WPG
Jets' Ville Heinola: Unlikely to see much playing time
Heinola was scratched for the ninth game in a row in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.
Heinola has one assist over six appearances since the start of January, and he's been scratched 21 times in that span. The Jets made just a couple of depth moves at the trade deadline, but one of those was to bring in Luke Schenn, which gives the team nine healthy defensemen on the roster. It's safe to assume Heinola is at the bottom of the depth chart, as well as No. 5 out of five left-shot blueliners, so he'll be competing primarily with Haydn Fleury and Logan Stanley for playing time. The Jets apparently don't want to lose Heinola for nothing on waivers, as they've kept him on the roster since he healed from an ankle injury that kept him out until late November. He has just one helper with 11 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating across a career-high 17 appearances.

Filip Hronek D | VAN
Canucks' Filip Hronek: Scores, assists in loss
Hronek recorded an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Montreal.
Hronek has been playing very well of late and has recorded multi-point performances in three of his last four outings, tallying one goal and five assists over that stretch. The 27-year-old blueliner has recorded 24 points this season, with four goals and 20 helpers to his name. He should continue to have opportunities to produce as a member of the team's first power-play unit.

Vladislav Kolyachonok D | DAL
Penguins' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Getting chance to play
Kolyachonok played in his fourth straight game Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Kolyachonok was scratched for six straight games after the Penguins plucked him off waivers from Utah. He's since played in the last four games due to injuries to Pierre-Olivier Joseph (upper body) and Ryan Shea (upper body). Kolyachonok was on the top pairing alongside Kris Letang and saw 21:43 of ice time Tuesday. Despite a minus-3 rating across four contests with the Penguins, Kolyachonok looks to be getting an extended audition for 2025-26 -- he's under contract for next season after inking a two-year deal with Utah last June prior to being waived.

Erik Karlsson D | PIT
Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Nets game-winner in overtime
Karlsson scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Karlsson has been pretty good since his time with Team Sweden at the 4 Nations Face-Off, earning three goals and six assists over 10 outings since the NHL resumed play. The 34-year-old defenseman came up clutch Tuesday, tallying from the top of the left circle 49 seconds into overtime to spoil the Golden Knights' comeback attempt. Karlsson is now at nine goals, 47 points, 163 shots on net, 81 blocked shots and a minus-20 rating through 67 appearances this season, giving him an excellent chance to top both 10 goals and 50 points for the third year in a row.

Jordan Harris D | BOS
Blue Jackets' Jordan Harris: Can't get into lineup
Harris was scratched for the eighth straight game in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Devils.
Harris has been a scratch for large stretches of the season. Jake Christiansen remains in the lineup, but he had just 9:43 of ice time Tuesday and doesn't appear to have the full trust of the coaching staff. Harris has managed just four points, 32 blocked shots, 19 hits, 13 shots on net and a minus-5 rating over 29 appearances, so he'll likely have a short leash if he manages to check back in any time soon.

Denton Mateychuk D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Denton Mateychuk: Slings helper in loss
Mateychuk notched an assist and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Devils.
Mateychuk has two points over five games in March. The 20-year-old blueliner is seeing top-four minutes at even strength as well as time on the second power-play unit. Mateychuk is at six points, 24 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating across 27 appearances. He's not quite doing enough yet to be considered in redraft formats, but the 12th overall pick from 2022 has a bright future ahead.

Brian Dumoulin D | LA
Devils' Brian Dumoulin: Picks up helper
Dumoulin logged an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
The helper was Dumoulin's first point in three games with the Devils since he was acquired from the Ducks. The 33-year-old has seen less ice time in New Jersey thanks to the team's strong depth on defense compared to Anaheim, though that depth is being tested by the absences of Dougie Hamilton (lower body) and Jonas Siegenthaler (lower body). Overall, Dumoulin has 17 points, 58 shots on net, 62 hits, 94 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 64 appearances this season, one point better than his 80-game total with the Kraken in 2023-24.

Dmitry Kulikov D | FLA
Panthers' Dmitry Kulikov: Finds twine Tuesday
Kulikov scored a goal, added two PIM, logged three hits and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.
Kulikov has a point in each of the last two contests since he put an end to his 11-game point drought. The 34-year-old blueliner has a chance to see his importance in shutdown situations rise, as Aaron Ekblad (suspension) is out until the third game of the postseason. Kulikov is up to 13 points, 62 shots on net, 107 hits, 68 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating over 65 appearances, so he won't be a replacement for the offense lost from Ekblad's absence.

Mason Lohrei D | BOS
Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Nets equalizer in comeback
Lohrei scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Panthers.
Lohrei has been limited to two goals over six outings in March. His tally Tuesday tied the game at 2-2 in the third period. While he's dropped in consistency a bit lately, the 24-year-old defenseman has still been a breakout player this season with five goals, 29 points, 72 shots on net, 86 blocked shots and a minus-18 rating through 61 contests overall.

Noah Hanifin D | LV
Golden Knights' Noah Hanifin: Two points against Pens
Hanifin produced an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Pittsburgh.
The 28-year-old blueliner was instrumental in forcing OT, feeding Pavel Dorofeyev for Vegas' opening goal late in the second period before tying things up himself with just seven seconds left in regulation. Hanifin has never been a consistently elite offensive contributor, but he's taking full advantage of the absence of Shea Theodore (arm), erupting for three goals and eight points over the last six contests with five of those points (one goal, four helpers) coming on the power play.
