  • Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Lands on IR

    McAvoy (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.

    McAvoy is out indefinitely due to an infection in his right shoulder and an AC joint injury. The Bruins have yet to reveal an official timeline for his absence, but losing McAvoy is a big hit to a team in the middle of the playoff race. Mason Lohrei figures to pick up power-play time in the interim.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Slated to play

    Sanderson (rest) is expected to be in the lineup Saturday versus the Canadiens, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.

    Sanderson was questionable to suit up after his stint with Team USA during the 4 Nations Face-Off. It looks like he'll be able to avoid taking additional rest at this time, and with the Senators off for three days after this contest, he should be fine moving forward. Sanderson can be penciled in for top-pairing minutes and power-play duties.

  • Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Ready to return

    Lyubushkin (undisclosed) is good to play Saturday versus New Jersey, per Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.

    Lyubushkin has 11 assists, 62 hits and 82 blocks in 53 outings in 2024-25. He missed two games due to his injury. Brendan Smith is set to be a healthy scratch due to Lyubushkin's return.

  • Ryker Evans D | SEA

    Kraken's Ryker Evans: Ready to rock

    Evans (upper body) will return to the lineup against Florida on Saturday, according to Alison Lukan of the Kraken's official site.

    Evans will be back in the fold following a five-game absence. He has produced five goals, 21 points, 47 shots on net, 77 blocked shots and 80 hits through 50 outings this season. Due to Evans' return, Cale Fleury will be a healthy scratch against the Panthers on Saturday.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Expected to play Saturday

    Montour (upper body) is slated to return Saturday versus Florida.

    Montour has 10 goals, 27 points, 37 PIM, 61 hits and 70 blocks in 56 appearances in 2024-25. He was injured during Seattle's 3-2 overtime win over Calgary on Feb. 8, but because of the 4 Nations Face-Off break, Montour didn't end up missing a full game.

  • Sabres' Mattias Samuelsson: Removed from IR

    Samuelsson (foot) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.

    Following a two-game absence, Samuelsson will be available to return to the lineup against the Rangers on Saturday. However, he might be a healthy scratch after serving as an extra during Friday's practice. He has contributed three goals, six assists, 39 shots on net, 55 blocked shots and 57 hits through 35 appearances this season.

  • Islanders' Scott Mayfield: Activated from IR

    Mayfield (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, per Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

    Mayfield will return ahead of Sunday's matchup with Dallas after missing the Islanders' final four contests before the break. The 32-year-old blueliner had two goals, seven points and a plus-14 rating in his first 50 games this season.

  • Ryan Pulock D | NYI

    Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Activated from injured reserve

    The Islanders activated Pulock (upper body) from injured reserve Saturday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

    Pulock missed seven games with the injury. He has been practicing with the Islanders over the last week and was a full participant in practice Thursday. Pulock has three goals, 13 assists and 105 blocked shots across 48 appearances this season.

  • Tyler Tucker D | STL

    Blues' Tyler Tucker: Returns to lineup Saturday

    Tucker (upper body) will be in the lineup versus Winnipeg on Saturday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.

    Tucker missed three games with the injury. He has two goals and four points over 19 games with the Blues this season. Nick Leddy is expected to come out of the lineup because of the return of Tucker.

  • Dante Fabbro D | CLB

    Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Back in action Saturday

    Fabbro (concussion) will return to the lineup Saturday versus Chicago.

    Fabbro missed three games before the break. He was injured in Dallas on Feb. 2. Fabbro started the season in Nashville where he was pointless in six games before being placed on waivers. The Blue Jackets claimed the 26-year-old defenseman, who has four goals, nine assists, 96 blocked shots and 44 hits across 37 appearances with Columbus this season.
