Lian Bichsel D | DAL
Stars' Lian Bichsel: Posts helper in win
Bichsel notched an assist and four hits in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
This was Bichsel's first career helper, though he opened his NHL career with two goals over three games in December. The 20-year-old blueliner has a chance to carve out a role as a regular during Miro Heiskanen's (knee) absence, though Bichsel will be competing with Brendan Smith and Matt Dumba for regular minutes. Bichsel is at three points, seven shots on net, 50 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-1 rating through 13 appearances. His fantasy value is highest in formats that reward physicality, and he should be on the radar in dynasty leagues, though offense is unlikely to be a significant part of his production in the long run.

Thomas Harley D | DAL
Stars' Thomas Harley: Earns pair of assists
Harley logged two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Harley set up a Wyatt Johnston power-play goal that tied the game at 3-3 in the second period, and he also fed Evgenii Dadonov for the go-ahead goal midway through the third. This was Harley's first multi-point effort since Jan. 7 against the Rangers. The 23-year-old defenseman has three helpers over two contests since Miro Heiskanen (knee) exited the lineup. Harley is now at 26 points (four on the power play), 108 shots on net, 72 blocked shots and a plus-27 rating over 50 appearances. He should have plenty of chances to contribute on offense as long as Heiskanen remains on injured reserve.

Dante Fabbro D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Appears set to miss time
Head coach Dean Evason relayed that Fabbro "is not going to be available to us" after the defenseman exited Sunday's 5-3 loss against Dallas with an upper-body injury, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Columbus has three games remaining before the start of the 4 Nations Face-Off, so with Evason's update in mind, Fabbro may not be an option on the blue line until the team resumes play Feb. 22 versus Chicago. The British Columbia native has accounted for four goals, 13 points and a plus-14 rating over 37 appearances with the Blue Jackets this season. Fabbro has been more productive skating alongside Zach Werenski in Columbus after not recording a point across six outings with Nashville earlier in 2024-25.

Ryker Evans D | SEA
Kraken's Ryker Evans: Unavailable Sunday
Evans (upper body) will not be in the lineup Sunday against Calgary, according to Sound of Hockey.
Evans will miss his second straight game due to his upper-body injury. Cale Fleury will remain in the lineup on the third pairing. Seattle's next game is Tuesday against the Red Wings.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Late scratch Sunday
Contrary to a prior report, Hughes (undisclosed) will not be in the lineup Sunday versus Detroit, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Hughes took the ice for pregame warmups, but he's a late scratch for Sunday's home contest. Elias Pettersson will replace the all-world blueliner in the lineup. Hughes' next chance to suit up will be Tuesday versus Colorado.

Dante Fabbro D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Injured in Dallas
Fabbro (upper body) will not return to Sunday's game in Dallas.
Fabbro logged two PIM, two hits, two blocked shots and a minus-1 rating in 8:13 of ice time before exiting. Jordan Harris or Jack Johnson could draw into the lineup if Fabbro is unable to play Tuesday in Buffalo.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Suiting up versus Detroit
Hughes (undisclosed) was on the ice for pregame warmups, which indicates he'll be in the lineup Sunday against the Red Wings, according to Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Hughes wasn't available for practice Saturday and was deemed a game-time decision heading into Sunday's contest, but he'll avoid missing his fifth game of the season. The star defenseman has racked up 14 goals and 59 points over 47 appearances in 2024-25.

Logan Mailloux D | STL
Canadiens' Logan Mailloux: Sent to AHL
Mailloux was loaned to AHL Laval on Sunday.
Montreal announced that Mailloux will represent the Rocket at the AHL All-Star Classic in Palm Desert, California on Monday. The Canadiens visit the Sharks on Tuesday, so Mailloux will presumably link back up with the team then. The 21-year-old has provided a goal and two assists across five appearances with the big club in 2024-25.

Colton Parayko D | STL
Blues' Colton Parayko: Set to play Sunday
Parayko (illness) is available to play Sunday versus Utah, Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Parayko wasn't available for Friday's 5-0 loss to Colorado because of the illness. His return will likely result in Matt Kessel being a healthy scratch. Parayko has 11 goals, 28 points, 80 hits and 122 blocks in 51 outings with the Blues in 2024-25.

Rasmus Ristolainen D | PHI
Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Doesn't finish Sunday's game
Ristolainen (undisclosed) missed the third period of Sunday's 2-0 loss to Colorado, per Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports.
Ristolainen was dealing with soreness before the game, but it's not clear if that's the cause of his exit from Sunday's clash. He had two goals, 15 points, 12 PIM, 83 hits and 84 blocks in 53 appearances with the Flyers before the loss to the Avalanche. If he isn't available for Tuesday's game against Utah, then the Flyers might shift to dressing six defensemen after utilizing seven Sunday.
