Morgan Rielly D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Offers power-play helper
Rielly logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Oilers.
Rielly contributed to the power play with a point for the first time since Nov. 13. The defenseman set up forward Bobby McMann for the Maple Leafs' third goal of Saturday's game while occupying a role on the second power-play unit. Rielly is up to five goals, 18 assists, eight power-play points, 85 shots on net, 71 blocked shots and a minus-19 rating through 52 appearances this season. It's been a challenging year for the veteran blueliner.

Erik Cernak D | TB
Lightning's Erik Cernak: Garners helper Saturday
Cernak notched an assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Cernak earned his first point over four games since returning from an undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old defenseman has been back in his usual second-pairing role, though his playing style rarely leads to much offense. He has 11 helpers, 38 shots on net, 96 hits, 62 blocked shots, 27 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 45 appearances this season. Staying healthy remains tricky for Cernak at times, but he's on pace to challenge his career high of 18 points from the 2020-21 campaign.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Sets up game-tying goal
Raddysh notched an assist, four shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Raddysh ended a three-game dry spell with the helper. The 28-year-old defenseman fed Nikita Kucherov for the game-tying goal in the last minute of the third period, helping the Lightning salvage a standings point. Raddysh has 10 points over 17 contests since the start of January, and he's seen regular top-four usage in that time. He's up to 22 points, 70 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 43 appearances this season. After a slow start to 2024-25, he's back on pace to surpass the 33-point breakout campaign he had in the 2023-24 regular season.

MacKenzie Weegar D | UTA
Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Bags power-play assist
Weegar notched a power-play assist, four shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Red Wings.
Weegar has four points, including three on the power play, over his last five contests. The 31-year-old defenseman was cold over the middle of January, but he's gotten back on track lately. For the season, he's up to 26 points (11 on the power play), 110 shots on net, 137 hits, 110 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 51 appearances.

Simon Edvinsson D | DET
Red Wings' Simon Edvinsson: Pots goal Saturday
Edvinsson scored a goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Flames.
Edvinsson reached the 20-point mark with his first-period tally, which was the game-winner. The defenseman has earned six points and a plus-10 rating over his last 13 appearances. The 21-year-old has five goals, 15 helpers, 50 shots on net, 87 blocked shots, 47 hits, 24 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 48 contests in his first full NHL campaign, a level of play that's worth consideration in fantasy.
-
Brett Kulak D | COL
Oilers' Brett Kulak: Career year continues
Kulak had two assists in a 4-3 loss to Toronto on Saturday.
Kulak's 18 points are within three of his career high of 21, and he's already matched his previous best with six goals. The 31-year-old defender is on pace for 28-30 points. Kulak could top 100 shots and 100 hits, but his offense is still too inconsistent for him to warrant much fantasy attention.
-
Evan Bouchard D | EDM
Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Just three goals in last 30 games
Bouchard had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 loss to Toronto on Saturday.
Bouchard scored his ninth goal of 2024-25 to get Edmonton on the board in the second period. He has scored three goals in his last 30 games after netting six in his first 22 outings. Bouchard still hasn't potted a power-play goal this season after scoring eight with the man advantage in 2023-24. He has 13 power-play helpers this campaign after putting up 35 a year ago. Edmonton's power play remains excellent, but it hasn't been as potent as last season.

Artem Zub D | OTT
Senators' Artem Zub: Collects shorthanded assist
Zub produced a shorthanded assist, three shots on goal, two blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Wild.
Zub has a helper in each of the last two contests. The 29-year-old has had a couple of lengthy injury absences this season, but he's handled top-four minutes when healthy. For the season, Zub is at six points, 37 shots on net, 31 hits, 59 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 27 appearances. He plays in more of a shutdown role, so he won't have much appeal in fantasy.
-
Jake Sanderson D | OTT
Senators' Jake Sanderson: Erupts with four points in win
Sanderson scored a power-play goal on five shots, added three assists and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Wild.
One of Sanderson's helpers was on the power play, and another came while shorthanded. This was his second multi-point effort in a row, and he's earned two goals and 10 assists over his last 15 appearances. Sanderson is up to four goals, 33 points (four shorthanded, 19 on the power play), 114 shots on net, 106 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating through 51 appearances. He's on pace to reach the 40-point mark for the first time in his three NHL seasons.

Sean Walker D | CAR
Hurricanes' Sean Walker: Puts up helper
Walker recorded an assist, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Kings.
Walker has two helpers over his last six outings. The 30-year-old defenseman has struggled to generate much offense in a third-pairing role for the bulk of 2024-25. He's now at 11 points, 91 shots on net, 58 blocked shots, 51 hits, 30 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 53 appearances. Without an uptick in scoring, his fantasy upside is severely limited.
