Marc-Edouard Vlasic D | SJ
Sharks' Marc-Edouard Vlasic: Won't play Monday
Vlasic (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Boston, Sheng Peng of San JoseHockeyNow.com reports.
Vlasic played through an illness Saturday against the Islanders, but he was held out of practice Sunday, and head coach Ryan Warsofsky said that the 37-year-old had lost a lot of weight due to his ailment. Vlasic will be unavailable for the first half of a back-to-back set, and it's unclear whether he'll be in the mix to return against Nashville on Tuesday. Timothy Liljegren will draw back into the lineup Monday.

Maxwell Crozier D | TB
Lightning's Max Crozier: Back with big club
Crozier was summoned from AHL Syracuse on Monday.
Crozier played in Saturday's 5-1 win over Detroit, posting two shots on goal, four hits, three blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. The 24-year-old Crozier could be in the lineup again for Monday's matchup versus Toronto if Erik Cernak (undisclosed) remains unavailable.

Colton White D | NJ
Devils' Colton White: Loaned to AHL affiliate
White was assigned to AHL Utica on Monday.
White was a healthy scratch for the last three games. He hasn't seen any NHL action this season. White has produced one goal, 11 points and 27 PIM in 26 minor-league outings this campaign.

Ty Smith D | CAR
Hurricanes' Ty Smith: Dropped to AHL
Smith was assigned to AHL Chicago on Monday.
Smith was a healthy scratch for the last two games. He has one goal, one assist, 14 shots on net and five blocked shots in eight NHL outings this season. Carolina might recall Smith before Wednesday's matchup against Boston to provide some defensive depth.

Simon Edvinsson D | DET
Red Wings' Simon Edvinsson: Notches helper in Sunday's loss
Edvinsson recorded an assist in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Stars.
Edvinsson was initially credited with the goal, but it was tipped home by Marco Kasper to break up Jake Oettinger's shutout bid. With four helpers over his last seven outings, Edvinsson has taken a step up on offense recently. The 21-year-old blueliner is at four goals, 18 points, 47 shots on net, 41 hits, 74 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 42 appearances. Edvinsson will likely continue to handle top-four minutes.

Ilya Lyubushkin D | DAL
Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Assists in back-to-back games
Lyubushkin posted an assist, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
Lyubushkin has followed up a 10-game point drought with a helper in each of the last two contests. This burst of offense is unlikely to last long for the 30-year-old defenseman, who plays in more of a physical role on the Stars' blue line. He has 10 helpers, 26 shots on net, 70 blocked shots, 51 hits and a plus-8 rating through 46 appearances. Lyubushkin's career high in points is 15 from the 2021-22 campaign he split between the Coyotes and the Maple Leafs, and he's in a position to top that number in 2024-25.

Miro Heiskanen D | DAL
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Adds power-play helper in win
Heiskanen logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
Heiskanen has picked up four points over 10 outings in January, with three of them coming on the power play. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to 21 points (seven on the power play), 104 shots on net, 78 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 46 appearances. Heiskanen's large role will help him maintain fantasy value, but his lack of consistency on offense has kept him from being among the truly elite blueliners this season.

Ryan Lindgren D | SEA
Rangers' Ryan Lindgren: Records helper in overtime loss
Lindgren notched an assist in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Lindgren has two helpers over his last three contests and a total of five assists through 10 outings in January. The 26-year-old usually isn't this productive on offense, but he's in a top-four role that gives him enough playing time to share the ice with the Rangers' top players. He's at 11 points, 29 shots on net, 51 hits, 80 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 41 appearances.
-
K'Andre Miller D | CAR
Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Puts up helper Sunday
Miller notched an assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
This was just his second helper over 12 contests since he returned from an upper-body injury. Miller has remained in a top-four role despite the lack of offense due to his strong defense -- his minus-2 rating Sunday was the first time he's gone negative since Dec. 30. He's produced eight points, 63 shots on net, 66 hits, 57 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 40 appearances this season.

Adam Fox D | NYR
Rangers' Adam Fox: Dishes pair of assists
Fox logged two assists and two PIM in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Fox earned his third multi-point effort over the last eight games. He has a goal and seven assists in that span. The 26-year-old blueliner continues to offer strong offense in addition to steady defense in a top-pairing role. He's at 36 points, 74 shots on net, 63 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 46 appearances this season.
