  • Blackhawks' Matt Grzelcyk: Won't return Sunday

Grzelcyk (upper body) left Sunday's game against the Predators in the first period and won't return, the team announced.

Grzelcyk got caught up high in a scrum after the whistle in the opening period and has been ruled out for the rest of the game. The 32-year-old has no goals and 12 assists in 68 games in his first season in a Blackhawks sweater. It remains to be seen if he will be forced to miss any more time. Chicago is next in action Tuesday on the road against the Islanders.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Out Sunday

Gostisbehere (lower body) will not play Sunday against the Penguins, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Gostisbehere has already missed the last seven games with injury and that number will grow by at least one more before he makes his return. The 32-year-old has had a magnificent season so far, registering 43 points (11 goals, 32 assists) in 45 games played. His next chance to return will be Tuesday against the Canadiens.

  • Adam Wilsby D | NSH

Predators' Adam Wilsby: Making return Sunday

Wilsby (lower body) will make his return to the lineup Sunday against the Blackhawks, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Wilsby was skating on the third pair with Ryan Ufko in warmups, putting the former in position to suit up for the first time since Feb 28. The 25-year-old Wilsby has missed Nashville's last 10 games. He has 12 points (one goal, 11 assists) in 45 games on the year.

  • Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Good to go Sunday

Crevier (undisclosed) will return to the lineup against Nashville on Sunday, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

After sitting out Friday's 4-1 loss to Colorado, Crevier is available to return to action. He has registered five goals, 17 points, 96 shots on net, 73 blocked shots and 107 hits across 65 appearances this season.

  • Wild's Jared Spurgeon: Notches assist Saturday

Spurgeon logged an assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Stars.

Spurgeon hasn't scored since the Olympic break, earning two assists, 14 shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over his last 13 appearances. The 36-year-old defenseman has been able to focus a bit more on the defensive side of play since the Wild have Quinn Hughes and Brock Faber powering the offense from the blue line. Spurgeon is at 19 points, 83 shots on net, 126 blocked shots, 79 hits and a plus-2 rating over 71 appearances this season.

  • Ryan Shea D | PIT

Penguins' Ryan Shea: Will miss Sunday

Shea (upper body) will not play Sunday against the Hurricanes, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.

Shea left Saturday's game against the Jets in the second period, and his upper-body injury will cost him at least one full game as well. The 29-year-old has enjoyed a strong season, notching 28 points (four goals, 24 assists) and a plus-24 rating in 69 games. He is listed as day-to-day, with his next chance to return being Tuesday against the Avalanche.

  • Flames' Yan Kuznetsov: Out again but close

Kuznetsov (upper body) will miss Sunday's game against the Lightning but is close to a return, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Kuznetsov has already missed three games and is set to miss a fourth Sunday against the Lightning. However, it seems that the 24-year-old could be ready soon with his next chance to come back being Tuesday against the Kings. He has 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 52 games on the season.

  • Brett Pesce D | NJ

Devils' Brett Pesce: Questionable to return this season

Pesce (lower body) is questionable to return to the lineup before the end of the 2025-26 regular season, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports Sunday.

Pesce had been listed as week-to-week and has missed the last eight games. If he doesn't return before the end of the regular season, he will finish with one goal, six assists, 45 shots on net and 80 blocked shots across 37 appearances.

  • Quinn Hughes D | MIN

Wild's Quinn Hughes: Two helpers against Dallas

Hughes notched two assists in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Stars.

The star blueliner drove play once again, setting up Bobby Brink for Minnesota's first goal midway through the second period before initiating the sequence that resulted in Vladimir Tarasenko's OT winner. Hughes snapped a rare three-game point drought with the performance, and in 39 games since being traded from the Canucks he's delivered four goals and 46 points.

  • Blues' Logan Mailloux: Earns pair of helpers

Mailloux notched two assists in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Canucks.

Mailloux helped out on Pavel Buchnevich's second-period tally, the eventual game-winner, and he also had a hand in Jordan Kyrou's power-play empty-netter. That second assist was the first career power-play point for Mailloux, who is growing into a more significant role late in the season. He has eight points over 54 contests this season, but five of them have come over his last 10 games. Mailloux has added 59 shots on net, 71 hits, 41 blocked shots, 37 PIM and a minus-19 rating on the year.
