  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Wins fourth straight start

Hellebuyck stopped 18 of 19 shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.

Hellebuyck had no margin for error in this one, but he kept it tied at 1-1 for 30 minutes before Dylan DeMelo scored with 27 seconds left in regulation. During his four-game winning streak, Hellebuyck has given up just four goals on 93 shots. He's up to 28-6-2 with a 1.97 GAA and a .929 save percentage over 36 starts. The Jets have often avoided having Hellebuyck start more than four games in a row -- if he gets the nod Saturday at home versus the Flames, that would be his fourth straight game between the pipes.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

    Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Wins again

Dobes stopped 32 of 33 shots in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Stars.

Dobes let a juicy rebound escape that Jason Robertson put behind him early in the first period, but that was it. Falling behind is no longer the death sentence it used to be for the Canadiens, whose .833 point percentage since the NHL returned from its holiday break ranks second in the league. The lines have been resilient and goaltending elite (2.11 goals allowed per game), including the unflappable Dobes. Dallas poured it on the final two periods, outshooting the Canadiens, 26-13, but Dobes was impressive once again. He's won all four starts to begin his NHL career, and they haven't been cheapies. The rookie has taken down Florida, Colorado, Washington and now Dallas. The Habs have a back-to-back set at home this weekend with games Saturday (Maple Leafs) and Sunday (Rangers). Dobes should get one of those starts.

  • Senators' Leevi Merilainen: Saddled with overtime loss

Merilainen turned aside 27 of 28 shots faced during Thursday's 1-0 home loss to the Capitals.

Merilainen stood tall against the vaunted Capitals before surrendering Alex Ovechkin's 874th career goal in overtime. The 22-year-old Finn looks to have edged out Anton Forsberg as the replacement for Linus Ullmark (back) while the latter is on the injured list, so fantasy managers should consider adding Merilainen if he's still available.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Notches second straight shutout

Thompson turned aside all 25 shots faced during Thursday's 1-0 road victory over the Senators.

Thompson has stopped 76 of 77 shots faced over his last three games - all victories. The 27-year-old is expected to start regularly with Charlie Lindgren (upper body) on the injured list so fantasy managers should make the most of the heavy workload and keep him fixed in their lineups.

  • Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Set to start Thursday

Skinner is expected to start on the road against the Avalanche on Thursday, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.

Skinner has a 17-9-3 record, 2.68 GAA and .902 save percentage in 29 appearances in 2024-25. He's coming off a 30-save shutout over the Kings on Monday. The Avalanche are tied for sixth in goals per game with 3.31.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

    Kraken's Joey Daccord: Starting Thursday

Daccord is expected to start on the road Thursday against Winnipeg, per the NHL media site.

Daccord has a 14-9-2 record, 2.47 GAA and .914 save percentage in 27 appearances in 2024-25. He stopped 31 of 33 shots en route 4-2 victory over Pittsburgh in his last start Tuesday. The Jets rank third in goals per game with 3.60.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Between pipes Thursday

Dostal will protect the road goal versus the Lightning on Thursday.

Dostal is 3-3-0 with a 3.32 GAA and an .892 save percentage over his last six outings. The 24-year-old did not face the Lightning when they visited Anaheim on Jan. 5, a game the Ducks won 4-1 with John Gibson in goal. The Lightning remain an intimidating opponent, so many fantasy managers will have better options than Dostal available on a 13-game Thursday slate.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Red Wings' Alex Lyon: Remains out Thursday

Lyon (upper body) is unavailable for Thursday's road game against Florida.

Lyon is traveling with the team, so he might be close to returning, but for now Ville Husso will serve as Cam Talbot's understudy. Lyon has an 8-5-0 record, 2.71 GAA and .902 save percentage in 16 outings in 2024-25. His next opportunity to play will come Saturday in Tampa Bay.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Set to start Thursday

Thompson is expected to start in Thursday's tilt against Ottawa, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.

Thompson has stopped 99 of 104 shots (.952 save percentage) while winning three of his past four appearances. That brings him up to 19-2-3 with a 2.23 GAA and a .921 save percentage in 24 outings overall. Ottawa is in a three-way tie for 20th in goals per game with 2.88.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Expected to face Toronto

Markstrom is set to start on the road against Toronto on Thursday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Markstrom is 21-8-4 with a 2.15 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 33 starts in 2024-25. He's continued to succeed recently, stopping 101 of 109 shots (.927 save percentage) over his past four starts, though New Jersey struggled to provide him with adequate offense, resulting in Markstrom posting a 2-0-2 record during that stretch. Toronto ranks 13th in goals per game with 3.02.
