  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Allows five goals in loss

Forsberg stopped 22 of 27 shots on goal in Saturday's 6-4 loss to New Jersey.

Following a strong second period during which Forsberg helped the Kings take a 3-2 lead, he surrendered four goals in the third for New Jersey to steal the win. He drops to an 11-10-5 record, a 2.83 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 28 appearances this season. The 33-year-old netminder posted a strong stretch of play leading into the Olympic break but has had mixed results since then with a 2-3-0 record, a 3.83 GAA and an .878 save percentage across six outings. Since the return of Darcy Kuemper from an illness, Forsberg has played only once per three games, so Forsberg's next opportunity in net will likely come either March 21 against the Sabres or March 22 at Utah.

  • Islanders' David Rittich: Posts strong outing in win

Rittich turned aside 30 of 32 shots on net in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Flames.

Rittich excelled in the first two periods of Saturday's contest, keeping the Flames off the board until 42 minutes into regulation. He ultimately held on for the win and now has a 14-9-3 record, a 2.66 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 26 outings this season. The 33-year-old netminder has alternated wins and losses over his last six games and is now just two wins away from tying the 16 victories he posted with the Kings across 34 regular-season games a year ago. Rittich should continue to be viewed as a strong spot start in fantasy whenever the Islanders decide to give Ilya Sorokin a rest.

  • Devin Cooley G | CGY

Flames' Devin Cooley: Gets hook Saturday

Cooley allowed three goals on 10 shots in the first period of Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Islanders before being pulled.

After allowing three goals in the first period of Saturday's contest, Cooley was benched in favor of Dustin Wolf for the remainder of the game. Cooley was credited with the loss, leaving him with a 7-9-4 record, a 2.55 GAA and a .914 save percentage across 24 appearances this season. Despite struggling in his last two outings, the 28-year-old goalie has been solid enough in his secondary role to still warrant consideration as a matchup-dependent spot start. His next chance to bounce back is Monday's road matchup against the Red Wings.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Perfect relief effort in loss

Wolf halted all 17 shots on goal he faced in relief of Devin Cooley during Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Islanders.

Wolf entered Saturday's contest at the start of the second period to relieve Cooley, who surrendered three goals in the opening period. Wolf thrived down the stretch, as he kept the Islanders off the scoreboard for the remainder of regulation despite the Flames falling short in the end. Overall, the 24-year-old netminder now has a 19-24-3 record with a 3.00 GAA and an .897 GAA across 48 appearances this season. Saturday's outing was a big sign of confidence in the young netminder, who snapped his four-game streak of allowing at least four goals. He should continue to see reps in net regularly for Calgary moving forward, giving him solid fantasy value in leagues that value high save totals.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Logs 21-save shutout

Hill recorded a 21-save shutout in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Blackhawks.

Hill got a little help from a video review that wiped out a Chicago goal for a hand pass. This was his first shutout of the campaign, and it continues a run of improved play -- he's allowed just 10 goals over his last five appearances. Hill is up to 8-6-3 with a 3.05 GAA and an .871 save percentage over 19 starts. He's started four straight contests, so the heavier workload may be helping him to get into a rhythm. The Golden Knights have a tough task ahead when they host the Sabres on Tuesday.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: On wrong side of shutout

Knight stopped 28 of 32 shots in Saturday's 4-0 loss to Vegas.

Three of the goals against came in a span of 3:27 in the middle of the first period. Knight has lost five of his last six outings, but this was the first time he allowed four goals since Jan. 25 versus the Panthers. Knight is now at a 17-19-8 record with a 2.64 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 44 starts in his first year as a full-time starter. The Blackhawks' schedule doesn't get easier next week, as they have a home-and-home with the Wild before facing the Avalanche on the second half of a back-to-back, which makes Knight a risky fantasy option in the short term.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Surrenders five goals

Tolopilo stopped 28 of 33 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken.

Tolopilo had won his last two outings, but the Kraken were too much for him to handle. The 25-year-old netminder is down to 5-6-2 with a 3.34 GAA and an .892 save percentage over 15 appearances this season. He continues to battle with Kevin Lankinen for playing time, though the Canucks will likely have their eyes on the draft lottery given how far adrift they are in the standings. The Canucks host the Panthers on Tuesday and the Lightning on Thursday, so Tolopilo is best avoided in weekly fantasy formats.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Secures win over Canucks

Grubauer stopped 32 of 34 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.

Grubauer faced plenty of traffic, but he was up to the task to earn the win. The 34-year-old had lost his last three results, giving up 13 goals on 100 shots across four appearances in that span. Joey Daccord has struggled under a heavier workload since the Olympic break, so there's still room for Grubauer to take the reins again if he can get his own play on track. He's now 12-8-3 with a 2.52 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 26 appearances this season. Look for Daccord to get the nod Sunday versus the Panthers, but his performance in that game could lead to a shift in goalie deployment moving forward, especially if Grubauer carries some momentum from this win.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Squanders early lead

Vejmelka allowed four goals on 23 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Penguins.

Vejmelka has allowed three or more goals in four straight games, going 1-2-1 in that span. He was spotted a 2-0 lead after one period, but he gave up a pair of goals in each of the last two frames Saturday. Vejmelka slipped to 30-18-3 with a 2.72 GAA and an .896 save percentage over a league-high 52 starts this season. Vitek Vanecek saw a little more action earlier in March and may be needed to afford Vejmelka a rest on occasion. The Mammoth have a tough matchup for their next game, as they'll visit the surging Stars on Monday.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Yields three goals in win

Skinner stopped 26 of 29 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Mammoth.

Skinner gave up the first two goals of the game as the Penguins' defense was leaky to start the game, but they all improved later in the contest. The 27-year-old netminder had gone winless in his last five outings (0-1-4) while allowing 16 goals, so this was a much-needed performance. Skinner is up to 20-13-8 with a 2.78 GAA and an .891 save percentage over 41 appearances this season, though his numbers have been slightly better with the Penguins than they were with the Oilers. If the Penguins continue their goalie rotation, Skinner could get two consecutive starts against the Eastern Conference's top team, the Hurricanes.
