  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Yields three goals in win

Skinner stopped 26 of 29 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Mammoth.

Skinner gave up the first two goals of the game as the Penguins' defense was leaky to start the game, but they all improved later in the contest. The 27-year-old netminder had gone winless in his last five outings (0-1-4) while allowing 16 goals, so this was a much-needed performance. Skinner is up to 20-13-8 with a 2.78 GAA and an .891 save percentage over 41 appearances this season, though his numbers have been slightly better with the Penguins than they were with the Oilers. If the Penguins continue their goalie rotation, Skinner could get two consecutive starts against the Eastern Conference's top team, the Hurricanes.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Takes overtime loss in Dallas

Gibson stopped 21 of 24 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars.

Gibson has allowed 12 goals over his last five outings, but he's gone 1-3-1 in that span. The 32-year-old netminder has had a couple of injury scares in March, but he hasn't been sidelined for more than one game this month. He typically wore down around this time of year during his last few seasons in Anaheim, making any injury situation a concern. Gibson is down to 24-15-3 with a 2.58 GAA and a .905 save percentage across 44 starts this season. The Red Wings host the Flames on Monday in a favorable matchup.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Picks up another win

Oettinger stopped 22 of 24 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Red Wings.

Oettinger let a two-goal lead slip away in the third period, but Thomas Harley scored in overtime to help the Stars get the win anyway. This was Oettinger's third straight win, a span in which he's allowed just five goals on 83 shots. The 27-year-old netminder improved to 28-10-5 with a 2.62 GAA and a .900 save percentage over 43 starts. The Stars are one of the hottest teams in the league, so Oettinger is a must-start in nearly every game where he gets the nod, though the four-game week ahead is full of tough matchups.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Fifth loss in last eight games

Vasilevskiy made 31 saves on 34 shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Carolina. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Vasilevskiy is 3-5-0 in his last eight outings, and Tampa has lost seven of its past nine games. The talented netminder has allowed 24 goals in those eight games for an .889 save percentage. Vasilevskiy is 30-12-3 with a 2.30 GAA and .914 save percentage this campaign, but this isn't the first time he's seen his numbers bloat a little down the stretch.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Third straight win

Andersen made 17 saves in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.

Andersen has won three straight games (3-0-0), beating the Oilers, Penguins and Lightning. He's alternating starts with Brandon Bussi, who is 1-2-0 this month. Carolina sits at the top of the Eastern Conference with 90 points, so it has plenty of wiggle room to give Bussi a rest before the playoffs start. Andersen will benefit from that.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Needs teammates to step up

Woll made 30 saves in 3-2 shootout loss to Buffalo on Saturday.

Woll was a difference-maker Saturday, but his teammates mustered just 18 shots on the Sabres. The Leafs are in a spiral, and their ability to score will take a hit due to Auston Matthews' (knee) season-ending injury. Woll seems to have the upper hand on the team's No. 1 job for now, but he has allowed 21 goals and put up a 1-4-1 record since the Olympic break.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Sixteenth win in last 18 games

Lyon made 16 saves in a 3-2 shootout win over Toronto on Saturday.

Lyon has won five games in a row, and he's 16-2-0 in his last 18 appearances. He has a 19-8-3 record with a 2.62 GAA, a .913 save percentage and two shutouts this season. Lyon has been superb, but he will probably continue to rotate starts with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen down the stretch.

  • Bruins' Michael DiPietro: Cruises to AHL shutout

DiPietro recorded a 13-save shutout in AHL Providence's 7-0 win over Hartford on Saturday.

DiPietro was barely tested in the blowout win. This was his second shutout of the season and the 11th of his AHL career. The 26-year-old goalie is 28-6-0 with a 1.80 GAA and a .936 save percentage over 36 appearances this season, which is his best in the AHL yet.

  • Canadiens' Alexis Cournoyer: Shuts out Harvard

Cournoyer posted a 16-save shutout in Cornell University's 4-0 win over Harvard University on Saturday.

This was Cournoyer's first shutout in his NCAA career. While he hasn't racked up shutouts, he has a stellar 17-8-0 record with a 1.93 GAA and a .919 save percentage over 25 starts this season. The Canadiens prospect has looked good, but he will still need more development time beyond this season.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Expected to start Saturday

Vejmelka is expected to start at home against Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Vejmelka has a 30-17-3 record, 2.69 GAA and .897 save percentage in 51 outings in 2025-26. He's 0-1-1 with a 3.88 GAA and an .849 save percentage across his past two appearances. Perhaps he'll have better luck against Pittsburgh. The Penguins are 1-3-2 across their past six games and are currently without Sidney Crosby (lower body) and Evgeni Malkin (suspension).
