  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Slated to start in Detroit

Forsberg is expected to be between the road pipes against the Red Wings on Tuesday, Zach Dooley of LA Kings Insider reports.

Forsberg is 2-0-1 and has turned aside a combined 81 of 87 shots (.931 save percentage) over his previous three appearances. The veteran netminder will have a tough test against a Detroit team that is 18-8-1 on home ice this season. However, Forsberg has an exceptional track record against the Red Wings during his career, registering a 3-0-1 record, 1.74 GAA and .939 save percentage over four outings.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Defending crease Tuesday

Lankinen will protect the home net against San Jose on Tuesday, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.

Lankinen has lost his last two outings while allowing eight goals on 49 shots. He has a 7-16-4 record this campaign with a 3.44 GAA and an .884 save percentage through 28 appearances. With Thatcher Demko (hip) set to undergo season-ending surgery, Lankinen should see plenty of starts for the remainder of the year. San Jose sits 18th in the league with 3.08 goals per game this season.

  • Canadiens' Alexis Cournoyer: Secures weekly honor

Cournoyer was named the ECAC Goalie of the Week on Monday.

Cournoyer stopped 32 of 34 shots for Cornell University over the weekend, securing a 2-1 overtime win over Dartmouth College on Friday and a 4-1 win over Harvard University on Saturday. Through 15 outings this season, Cournoyer is 11-4-0 with a 1.82 GAA and a .925 save percentage, numbers right in line with how he performed in the QMJHL with Cape Breton last year. This was his third weekly award this season after previously claiming two ECAC Rookie of the Week honors in November.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Drawing start in Minnesota

Knight will patrol the road blue paint Tuesday versus the Wild, per Vinnie Parise of The Hockey News.

Knight is coming off his worst outing of the month -- he allowed four goals on 24 shots in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Panthers. The 24-year-old is 5-3-0 with a 2.47 GAA and a .915 save percentage over eight appearances in January. He'll have a daunting task against a Wild squad that sits fifth overall in the NHL with 68 points and has scored at least three goals in five straight games, a span in which they are 3-1-1.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Set to face Capitals

Grubauer was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, according to Circling Seattle Sports, indicating he will patrol the home crease against Washington on Tuesday.

Grubauer has gone 2-2-2 in his last six outings while surrendering 17 goals on 167 shots. He has a 10-5-3 record with a 2.41 GAA and a .918 save percentage through 20 appearances this campaign. Washington ranks 14th in the league with 3.21 goals per game this season.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Gets no help in loss

Ersson stopped 19 of 23 shots in Monday's 4-0 loss to the Islanders.

Ersson was playing in his seventh straight game. The Flyers' offense did him no favors, though Ersson wasn't that good either. He's 2-3-1 with 21 goals allowed on 157 shots during his recent stretch of increased work. For the season, he's at an 8-9-5 record with a 3.39 GAA and an .860 save percentage over 23 appearances. Dan Vladar (lower body) is close to a return, at which point Ersson would slip back into the backup role. Ersson is still likely to start at least one of the next two games, either Wednesday in Columbus or Thursday in Boston.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: In goal Tuesday

Oettinger will defend the road net against St. Louis on Tuesday, per Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.

Oettinger has won his last two outings while stopping 36 of the 40 shots he has faced. He has a 19-10-4 record with a 2.65 GAA, a .902 save percentage and two shutouts through 33 appearances this season. St. Louis ranks 32nd in the league with 2.42 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Expected to start Tuesday

Binnington is slated to start in Tuesday's home clash with the Stars.

Since a 26-save shutout to kick off the calendar year, Binnington has struggled with a 0-4-0 record, a 4.54 GAA and an .830 save percentage across four starts. Overall, the 32-year-old netminder has an 8-14-6 record, a 3.57 GAA and an .868 save percentage over 29 appearances this season. With fellow netminder Joel Hofer earning the Blues at least one point in three of his last four starts, Binnington's back is against the wall if he doesn't want to cede the majority of starts to the other half of his goalie tandem. He'll look to bounce back against a Stars offense that is scoring 3.25 goals per game this season.

  • Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Earns win Monday

Jarry stopped 36 of 40 shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Ducks.

Jarry has won his last two starts with the Oilers, but things could've been different if he didn't play for one of the best offenses in the NHL. Jarry has allowed four or more goals in three of his six starts since returning from a lower-body injury, going 3-2-1 with a 3.31 GAA and an .882 save percentage over that span.

  • Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Shut down for season

Demko will undergo hip surgery and miss the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign, the Canucks announced Tuesday.

According to the team, Demko's hip surgery is unrelated to the one from last season, and the backstop will be ready for the start of training camp in the fall. Still, the fact that the San Diego native will play less than 25 games for the second straight year is a concern for fans and fantasy managers alike. With Demko on the shelf, Kevin Lankinen figures to serve as the primary option for the Canucks moving forward.
