  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: In goal Tuesday

Oettinger will defend the road net against St. Louis on Tuesday, per Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.

Oettinger has won his last two outings while stopping 36 of the 40 shots he has faced. He has a 19-10-4 record with a 2.65 GAA, a .902 save percentage and two shutouts through 33 appearances this season. St. Louis ranks 32nd in the league with 2.42 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Expected to start Tuesday

Binnington is slated to start in Tuesday's home clash with the Stars.

Since a 26-save shutout to kick off the calendar year, Binnington has struggled with a 0-4-0 record, a 4.54 GAA and an .830 save percentage across four starts. Overall, the 32-year-old netminder has an 8-14-6 record, a 3.57 GAA and an .868 save percentage over 29 appearances this season. With fellow netminder Joel Hofer earning the Blues at least one point in three of his last four starts, Binnington's back is against the wall if he doesn't want to cede the majority of starts to the other half of his goalie tandem. He'll look to bounce back against a Stars offense that is scoring 3.25 goals per game this season.

  • Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Earns win Monday

Jarry stopped 36 of 40 shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Ducks.

Jarry has won his last two starts with the Oilers, but things could've been different if he didn't play for one of the best offenses in the NHL. Jarry has allowed four or more goals in three of his six starts since returning from a lower-body injury, going 3-2-1 with a 3.31 GAA and an .882 save percentage over that span.

  • Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Shut down for season

Demko will undergo hip surgery and miss the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign, the Canucks announced Tuesday.

According to the team, Demko's hip surgery is unrelated to the one from last season, and the backstop will be ready for the start of training camp in the fall. Still, the fact that the San Diego native will play less than 25 games for the second straight year is a concern for fans and fantasy managers alike. With Demko on the shelf, Kevin Lankinen figures to serve as the primary option for the Canucks moving forward.

  • Ville Husso G | ANA

Ducks' Ville Husso: Beaten five times in loss

Husso stopped 25 of 30 shots in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers. The other two goals were empty-netters in the third period.

Husso was beaten once in the first period and four more times in the second. He left the net with the Ducks chasing an equalizer late in the final frame, but the Oilers took advantage of that to score two empty-netters via Connor McDavid and Mattias Ekholm, who finished with a hat trick. Husso has been relegated to a firm No. 2 role behind Lukas Dostal but has dropped four of his last five starts, going 1-3-1 with a 3.78 GAA and an .871 save percentage over that stretch. Husso will remain as Dostal's backup as long as Petr Mrazek (lower body) remains on injured reserve.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Posts 28-save shutout

Vasilevskiy stopped all 28 shots he faced in a 2-0 win over Utah.

Vasilevskiy has won his last four starts, and there's a strong argument to say he's been among the best -- if not the best -- goaltender in the NHL since the beginning of January. He's allowed 13 goals on 213 shots faced across nine starts, going 8-0-1 with a 1.41 GAA and an impressive .939 save percentage in that stretch.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Beaten twice Monday

Vejmelka stopped 27 of 29 shots in Monday's 2-0 loss to the Lightning.

Vejmelka saw the end of his eighth-game winning streak Monday, but he wasn't bad by any means -- he just didn't have enough support from the offense in a 2-0 loss. Despite the loss, Vejmelka has been playing well over the last few weeks and has posted a save percentage of at least .900 in eight of his last 11 contests, a stretch in which he's gone 9-2-0 with a 2.18 GAA and a .918 save percentage on 292 shots faced.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Tending twine Tuesday

Wallstedt will start in Tuesday's home clash against the Blackhawks, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.

Wallstedt enters Tuesday's contest with three consecutive losses, which is the longest losing streak of his rookie campaign. In that span, he has a 5.66 GAA and an .817 save percentage. Overall, the 23-year-old netminder has a 12-5-4 record, a 2.71 GAA, a .912 save percentage and four shutouts across 21 outings this season. With Filip Gustavsson beginning to see more frequent starts, Wallstedt will likely start seeing a true backup's workload for the time being if he can't turn things around quickly. Luckily for him, he will face a Blackhawks offense that ranks 27th with 2.65 goals per game this season, making Tuesday's game a strong bounce-back opportunity for the young goaltender.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Blanks Philly for sixth shutout

Sorokin made 21 saves in Monday's 4-0 win over the Flyers.

The shutout was his NHL-leading sixth of the season, and three of them have come in January. Since returning from a lower-body injury at the beginning of the month, Sorokin has gone 5-2-0 in seven starts with a dazzling 2.02 GAA and .935 save percentage.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Finally back in win column Monday

Quick stopped 21 shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Bruins. He also added an assist on Matthew Robertson's game-winner.

Boston took a 3-2 lead midway through the second period, but Quick shut the door the rest of the way and actually got some support from the Rangers' offense. It was the netminder's first win since Nov. 7, snapping a brutal 0-10-2 stretch, and the victory was also the 408th of his career -- breaking a tie with Hall of Famer Glenn Hall and moving Quick into sole possession of 12th place on the NHL's all-time list. The 40-year-old might have trouble climbing any higher, however, as next up in 11th place is Tony Esposito with 423 wins.
