    Hill will defend the road crease in Montreal on Saturday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

    Hill has given up two goals in each of his last three starts. The 28-year-old netminder is 8-4-1 with a 3.07 GAA and an .888 save percentage this season. Hill will face the Canadiens, who are averaging 2.84 goals per game.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Set to start Saturday

    Kochetkov was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports, indicating he will guard the road goal Saturday versus Columbus.

    Kochetkov has won his last two starts, stopping 47 of 49 shots. He has a 10-2-0 record with a 2.30 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 12 appearances this campaign. Columbus ranks 10th in the league with 3.42 goals per game in 2024-25.

    Vejmelka was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and will protect the visiting net in Pittsburgh on Saturday, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.

    Vejmelka is 1-3-0 in his last five appearances, giving up only nine goals on 147 shots (.939 save percentage). Overall, the Czech goaltender is 1-5-0 with a 2.37 GAA and a .922 save percentage. The Penguins should be a tired team, coming off a 4-1 loss to Winnipeg on Friday.

  • Kings' Pheonix Copley: Back with Los Angeles

    Copley was recalled from AHL Ontario on Saturday.

    Copley will occupy the backup role behind David Rittich while Darcy Kuemper (undisclosed) is on IR. The 32-year-old Copley appeared in one game for the Kings this season, allowing two goals on 12 shots in a relief appearance versus Toronto on Oct. 16.

  • Kings' Erik Portillo: Returned to AHL Ontario

    Portillo was reassigned to AHL Ontario on Saturday.

    Portillo was the backup for two games during his emergency recall, as David Rittich picked up both starts. The Kings recalled Pheonix Copley in a corresponding move Saturday.

    Ullmark was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports, indicating he will guard the home net Saturday against the Canucks

    Ullmark will look to snap his three-game winless skid -- he's struggled to an .841 save percentage in that span, allowing 13 goals on 82 shots. Overall, the 31-year-old netminder is 4-6-1 with an .887 save percentage and 3.00 GAA through his first 12 games with Ottawa.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: First off ice Saturday

    Lindgren is slated to guard the home goal versus New Jersey on Saturday after being the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Devils play-by-play announcer Matt Loughlin reports.

    Lindgren has won his last two starts, allowing four goals on only 45 shots in victories over Colorado and Utah. Lindgren is 5-4-0 with a 2.59 GAA and a .900 save percentage in 2024-25. The Devils rank eighth in the league with 3.45 goals per game.

  • Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Between pipes Saturday

    Montembeault will defend the home crease versus Vegas on Saturday, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

    Montembeault is coming off a 30-save shutout over the Oilers on Monday. He is 6-8-1 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.85 GAA and a .906 save percentage in the 2024-25 campaign. Vegas is first in the Pacific Division with a 12-6-2 record.
