  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Starting against Tampa Bay

Bobrovsky will defend the road crease against Tampa Bay on Monday.

Bobrovsky is coming off his third shutout win of the season Saturday in Dallas, and he'll attempt to carry his momentum against the Lightning, who are scoring 3.25 goals per game this year, which is tied for seventh in the league. Bobrovsky is in the midst of a three-game winning streak, during which he's allowed nine goals on 76 shots.

  • Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Racks up another win

Bussi stopped 24 of 26 shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout win over the Flyers.

Bussi recorded his ninth straight win with another outstanding display, and this was also the third consecutive outing in which he posted a save percentage of .920 or higher. During this impressive nine-game winning run, Bussi owns a 1.95 GAA and a .911 save percentage. Having started in six of the Hurricanes' last nine games, and considering how good he's been between the pipes lately, Bussi should continue to see ample playing time moving forward.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Beaten in shootout

Vladar stopped 30 of 32 shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Hurricanes.

The Flyers fell to the Hurricanes in a shootout for the second time in as many days, but Vladar can't be blamed for the outcome of the game -- he posted a save percentage of .938 against one of the best offenses in the league. Vladar has won just one of his last four outings, though. Over that stretch, he's posted a 1-1-2 record with a 2.68 GAA and an .889 save percentage.

  • Stars' Casey DeSmith: Tending twine against Los Angeles

DeSmith will serve as the starting goaltender for Monday's home game against the Kings, Brien Rea of Victory+ reports.

DeSmith has seen limited playing time recently, as Monday's start will be just his second in the Stars' last seven games. However, he's been effective when called upon, as he's gone 7-1-3 with a 2.23 GAA and .920 save percentage over 11 appearances this season. He'll draw a relatively favorable matchup Monday, as the Kings are scoring just 2.65 goals per game this season, which is the fifth-worst mark in the league.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Earns second straight win

Vejmelka stopped 12 of 16 shots in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Penguins.

Vejmelka has won back-to-back starts for the second time this month, and he's won four of his last six outings. The record doesn't tell the whole story, though. The 29-year-old netminder has allowed at least three goals in four straight starts, a span in which he's posted a 3.54 GAA and a subpar .877 save percentage. Vejmelka might remain a valuable source for wins, but his peripheral stats haven't been favorable for fantasy managers who continue to trust him, even though he's firmly entrenched as the Mammoth's No. 1 goaltender.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Still not ready to play

Vasilevskiy (undisclosed) participated in Monday's game-day skate but still isn't cleared to suit up, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.

Vasilevskiy was originally a possibility to play versus the Panthers on Monday, but now it seems the hope is to get the netminder back before the Christmas break. With the veteran backstop still on injured reserve, the Lightning will continue to roll with Jonas Johansson between the pipes. Whenever Vasilevskiy does get the all-clear, he should retake his spot as the No. 1 option for Tampa Bay.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Added to NHL roster

Skinner (not injury related) has resolved his visa issues and was added to the Penguins' roster Monday.

Skinner could be in line to make his Penguins' debut versus Edmonton on Tuesday, though the team could still roll with Arturs Silovs instead. With the Pens struggling to protect leads of late, the starting goalie job is wide open at this point, which could give Skinner the chance of securing his spot in the Steel City.

  • Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Sent down Monday

Murashov was reassigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday.

Murashov was recalled on an emergency basis Saturday, and he started Sunday's game against the Mammoth. He allowed five goals on 37 shots (.865 save percentage) in an overtime loss to Utah, and he'll head back to the minors after Stuart Skinner was officially added to the active roster Monday.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Facing Ducks

Shesterkin will protect the home net against Anaheim on Monday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.

Shesterkin made 13 saves in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over Montreal. He has surrendered 10 goals on 84 shots in his last three outings en route to a 1-1-1 record. He has gone 13-10-3 this season with a 2.53 GAA and a .909 save percentage through 26 appearances. Anaheim sits second in the league with 3.44 goals per game this campaign.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Set to start Monday

Hellebuyck will patrol the home crease against Ottawa on Monday, according to Connor Hrabchak of Winnipeg Sports Talk.

Hellebuyck is coming off a 24-save performance in Saturday's 5-1 win over Washington. He has a 9-6-0 record with a 2.41 GAA and a .916 save percentage across 15 appearances this season. Ottawa is tied for 15th in the league with 3.06 goals per game this year.
