Devin Cooley G | CGY
Flames' Devin Cooley: Makes 29 saves in OT loss
Cooley stopped 29 of 31 shots in Monday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Devils.
Cooley hasn't suffered a defeat in regulation since Dec. 10, going 3-0-1 with a 1.74 GAA and a .941 save percentage over that stretch. Cooley has made three appearances in January and has allowed two or fewer goals each time. If the rotation between the posts continues, Cooley could be in line to start Friday at home against the Capitals, with Dustin Wolf likely getting the nod against the Penguins on Wednesday.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Gets little help in loss
Bobrovsky turned aside 24 of 27 shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Sharks, with San Jose's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
All three goals Bobrovsky allowed came in a six-minute stretch early in the second period, but the Panthers didn't even get on the board until the third. The veteran netminder is having an awful January, going 2-5-0 in seven starts with a 4.22 GAA and an .824 save percentage while playing behind a Florida blue line missing two stalwarts in Seth Jones (upper body) and Dmitry Kulikov (upper body).

Adin Hill G | LV
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: First regulation loss this season
Hill stopped 15 of 17 shots on goal in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Flyers.
Across his first seven appearances of the season, Monday's game marks Hill's first regulation loss after he allowed a goal to Philadelphia's Travis Konecny in both the first and third periods. With the loss, Hill now holds a 2-1-2 record, a 3.01 GAA and an .873 save percentage on the year. Despite struggling over the small sample size, the 29-year-old goaltender should be heavily featured down the stretch as the Golden Knights inch closer to securing a playoff spot in the Pacific Division. While the numbers aren't great, Hill should earn a decent number of wins behind Vegas' offense, making him a decent backup option in two-goalie fantasy formats. His next chance to bounce back is Thursday in Boston.

Alex Nedeljkovic G | SJ
Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Wins fourth straight start
Nedeljkovic made 35 saves in Monday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.
He was the busier netminder on the night, as the Sharks were outshot 36-28, but Nedeljkovic took a shutout into the third period only to have Eetu Luostarinen spoil it 43 seconds into the frame. Nedeljkovic has won four straight starts, posting a 2.23 GAA and a .922 save percentage over that stretch as he tries to keep his spot on the NHL roster with Laurent Brossoit now lurking at AHL San Jose.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Back in win column Monday
Ersson turned aside 24 of 25 shots on net in Monday's 2-1 win over the Golden Knights.
Ersson earned his first win since Dec. 23 in an effort where he made multiple key saves en route to the road victory. With the win, the 26-year-old goalie is up to a 7-8-4 record with a 3.30 GAA and an .860 save percentage across 20 appearances this season. While the 2025-26 season has been the worst of his four at the NHL level, this start was encouraging, and he's in line for more opportunities with Dan Vladar (lower body) on injured reserve. Another 20-plus win season might be off the table for Ersson, but Monday's win could spark a decent stretch of play for him, making him an intriguing streaming option in fantasy for the time being. With current backup Aleksei Kolosov struggling, Ersson could be in line to draw an appearance in his fifth straight game during Wednesday's road matchup in Utah.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Iced by Penguins
Daccord stopped 26 of 31 shots in Monday's 6-3 loss to Pittsburgh, with the Penguins' final goal getting scored into an empty net.
The Kraken never led in the game, and the first four pucks to get past Daccord all came on long-range shots through traffic that he wasn't able to find until it was too late. The 29-year-old netminder has lost three straight starts and has given up at least three goals in all five of his January outings so far, going 2-3-0 on the month with a 3.62 GAA and an .880 save percentage.
-
Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Gives up one goal Monday
Markstrom stopped 21 of 22 shots in Monday's 2-1 overtime win over the Flames.
Markstrom was beaten midway through the second period on a slap shot by Nazem Kadri, but he was excellent the rest of the way. Markstrom seems to have turned things around after allowing nine goals to the Islanders on Jan. 6, as he's given up two or fewer goals in three of his subsequent four appearances. Over that four-game stretch, the Swede netminder has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.21 GAA and a .907 save percentage.

Hunter Shepard G | MON
Senators' Hunter Shepard: Elevated to NHL roster
Shepard was recalled from AHL Belleville on Tuesday.
Shepard will swap places with Leevi Merilainen, who was sent down to the minors in a corresponding move. The 30-year-old Shepard has seen action in just one NHL game this year, allowing two goals on 12 shots in a relief outing versus the Red Wings on Jan. 5. Shepard is poised to serve as the backup to James Reimer for Tuesday's matchup with Columbus.

Leevi Merilainen G | OTT
Senators' Leevi Merilainen: Shipped down to minors
Merilainen was reassigned to AHL Belleville on Tuesday.
Merilainen appeared in 11 straight games for the Senators coming out of the Christmas break, but now finds himself headed down to the minors. In those outings, the 23-year-old netminder went 4-5-1 with a 3.61 GAA, including giving up six goals on 19 shots versus Montreal on Saturday. Hunter Shepard was recalled from Belleville in a corresponding move and figures to serve as the No. 2 option behind James Reimer for Tuesday's tilt with Columbus.

Stuart Skinner G | PIT
Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Strong January continues
Skinner turned aside 20 shots in Monday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
The 27-year-old netminder got plenty of offensive support once again as he won for the fifth time in his last six starts. Skinner's found a groove in the Pittsburgh crease in a tandem with Arturs Silovs, and during that 5-1-0 stretch, he's posted a 1.67 GAA and a .931 save percentage.
