Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Shines in series-clinching win
Wedgewood stopped 24 of 25 shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Kings in Game 4 of the Western Conference first round.
Wedgewood was one of the reasons why the Avalanche managed to sweep the Kings, as he allowed one goal or fewer in three of the four games while posting a save percentage of at least .923 each time. Wedgewood will carry a 1.21 GAA and .950 save percentage into the second round of the playoffs, where the Avalanche will play either the Stars or the Wild.

Arturs Silovs G | PIT
Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Drawing Game 5 start
Silovs was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site reports, indicating that he'll draw the Game 5 start at home against the Flyers.
Silovs drew his first start of this year's playoffs during Saturday's Game 4 on the road, and he turned aside 28 of 30 shots (.933 save percentage) in a 4-2 victory to stave off elimination. Following Monday's win, he'll draw a second consecutive start in an attempt to force a Game 6. Silovs has picked up wins in four of his last six outings, going 4-2-0 with a 3.41 GAA and .878 save percentage during that time.

Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Loses Game 4 in overtime
Jarry stopped 34 of 38 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks in Game 4.
Jarry had an acceptable performance by the numbers, but he let leads of 2-0 and 3-2 slip away in regulation. In overtime, he was able to slow down a Ryan Poehling shot, but it squeaked across the goal line at 2:29 of the extra session, sending the Oilers to a third straight loss and the brink of elimination. At this point, it's unclear whether Jarry or Connor Ingram will get the nod in a must-win Game 5 on Tuesday in Edmonton, but the Oilers will need whomever starts to be at their best to slow down the Ducks' high-flying offense.

Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Overcomes rough first period
Dostal stopped 24 of 27 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers in Game 4.
The Oilers scored the first two goals of the game, but Dostal was able to settle in after that, giving up just one more goal to Evan Bouchard in the third. This was the first time in the series Dostal held Edmonton to fewer than four goals, and the effort was enough to put the Ducks up 3-1 in the series. Dostal has stopped 107 of 122 shots in total for an .877 save percentage in the series. Still, he has outplayed the Oilers' goaltenders, and it will likely be Dostal between the pipes Tuesday in Game 5 with a chance to knock out the two-time defending Western Conference champions.

Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Takes regulation loss Sunday
Dobes allowed three goals on 20 shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Lightning in Game 4.
Dobes wasn't able to fend off the Lightning's comeback effort, as Jake Guentzel scored late in the second period and Brandon Hagel tallied twice in the third. This was the first game decided in regulation in this first-round series. Dobes has allowed 11 goals on 94 shots (.883 save percentage) so far against the Lightning. He's been backed up by Jacob Fowler, but it's unclear if the Canadiens are considering a change between the pipes yet. Game 5 is on the road in Tampa on Wednesday.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Nabs Game 4 win
Vasilevskiy stopped 16 of 18 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens in Game 4.
Vasilevskiy gave up both goals in a span of 3:23 during the middle parts of the second period. The Lightning didn't back down, answering with the last three goals of the game while Vasilevskiy did his part protecting the net. He's now 2-2 in this series, with this being the first game decided in regulation. The 31-year-old has allowed 11 goals on 93 shots (.882 save percentage), but he's given the Lightning a chance to pull ahead in the series for the first time. It's all but guaranteed Vasilevskiy will tend the twine again in Wednesday's Game 5 in Tampa.

Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Making first start of postseason
Jarry will tend the road twine in Game 4 against the Ducks on Sunday.
Jarry will get his first start of the 2026 playoffs, as Connor Ingram started in the first three games of this series. The 30-year-old Jarry went 9-6-2 with a 3.86 GAA and an .858 save percentage over 19 appearances with Edmonton after being dealt from Pittsburgh. Jarry has made eight postseason starts in his career, going 2-6-0 with an .891 save percentage and a 3.00 GAA between 2019-20 and 2021-22 with the Penguins.

Joonas Korpisalo G | BOS
Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Needed in relief in Sunday's loss
Korpisalo turned aside all six shots he faced after replacing Jeremy Swayman early in the third period Sunday during the Bruins' 6-1 loss to the Sabres in Game 4 of their first-round series.
It was the first action of the playoffs for Korpisalo, and Sunday's result had little to do with Swayman, who was simply hung out to dry by his defense. With the Bruins facing elimination in Game 5 on Tuesday, coach Marco Sturm could give Korpisalo the start in an attempt to light a fire under his squad, but Swayman is more likely to be back between the pipes.

Jeremy Swayman G | BOS
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Gets hook in Game 4
Swayman allowed six goals on 29 shots before being replaced by Joonas Korpisalo early in the third period Sunday during the Bruins' 6-1 loss to the Sabres in Game 4 of their first-round series.
The Sabres scored four times in the first period alone as they out-shot the home side 19-5 in the first 20 minutes, with Swayman not getting much in the way of help from his sluggish defense. The 27-year-old netminder has been beaten 13 times on 130 shots (.900 save percentage) through the first four games of the series, and with Boston's season on the brink, it's not yet clear if coach Marco Sturm will stick with Swayman or hand the crease to Korpisalo in Game 5 on Tuesday in an attempt to spark his team.

Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Sharp in Sunday's win
Lyon made 23 saves Sunday during the Sabres' 6-1 win over the Bruins in Game 4 of their first-round series.
The veteran netminder nearly had a shutout, but Sean Kuraly managed to score a shorthanded tally with 40 seconds left in the third period after Buffalo had taken its foot off the gas. Lyon has seized the top job in the crease since replacing Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in Game 2, allowing just two goals on 56 shots over the last two-plus contests for a .964 save percentage. Lyon will look to help the Sabres book their tickets to the second round on home ice Tuesday in Game 5.
